- Ric Flair's book debuted at #5 on the 7/25 New York Times bestseller list, which will make it the highest debut of any WWE book since "Foley is Good" in 2001.

- Bret Hart had a meeting with Shane McMahon on 7/19 mainly to talk about the idea of doing a Bret Hart DVD later this year. As expected, the big hurdle in conversations was how to portray the end of 1997.

- According to backstage sources, there seemed to be a lot of "internal gloating" at Bret Hart's response to Ric Flair because it first helped book sales and second because some people like to see Hart look bad. Though Bret is very well respected by most of the current WWE wrestlers and some people in power, there are still a few individuals who get off on seeing him look bad.
