Urlacher Defends His Appearance, HBK/Kane Injured, WWE/Overseas

- In today's edition of The Chicago Tribune, Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher defended his decision to appear on NWA-TNA's PPV. "I don't know what the big deal was," Urlacher said. "I play pickup (basketball) games twice a week at Halas Hall, but (the wrestling stunt) is not OK? It's OK to play hoops, but you can't do anything else? I don't care. If I'm not supposed to do it, I'm doing it." To read the entire article, click here.

- Shawn Michaels is working in Japan with a sore knee. Yesterday in Hiroshima, he wrestled Ric Flair which has been said was a good match. Michael's has been put into a tag match for today's show in Osaka, the reason for this is to protect him from hurting his knee more.

- Kane suffered a groin injury in Hiroshima last night. The injury should not be too serious since after he faced Triple H in Hiroshima, he went on to face Hurricane in Osaka for his second match.

- Yesterday's house show in Hiroshima collected almost $300,000 at the gate. Tomorrow's Saitama event has grossed over $1.7 million so far. This is one of the main reasons why WWE tends to go overseas so much.
