WWE Raw the point, Dublin Ireland May 27th

Ok here is a full results with comments about each
match.
First up before the matches the Fink Howard Finkel
spouted some nonsense about not recording the event as
that was illegal.
Stephanie McMahon came out to a huge pop to welcome us
to the show & to encourage us to send a message to
Vince. She was playing a face who had us chanting
'Vince Sucks'. We were really into it & it was a
great way to get the crowd into a good mood.
I should mention here that the crowd popped huge for
every star, not susprising as it is 9 years since WWE
last came to Ireland.
First up was Matt Hardy V1 & Lita taking on Trish
stratus & Tyson Tomko. (Christian is not on the Irish
tour.) Matt was introduced first & the crowd went mad
chanting his name. Next came Lita & the crowd chanted
even louder. Then The Heels came out togother to a
chant of 'You Slut' directed at Trish who sold it well
pretending to be really annoyed. Matt & Tyson worked
the first part of the match & worked quite well
togother but when the ladies tagged in the crowd went
nuts chanting 'Lita' & 'Trish Sucks' at the same time.
As for the match itself it was quite good Matt did a
huge top rope DDT which was the move of the match &
all four looked good out there. The finish came when
all four were in the ring with Lita & Trish legal.
Lita hit a huge DDT on Trish & pinned her for the win.

Next came Sylvian Grenier & Rhyno.
Grenier & his team mate Rob conway came out first to a
chant of 'go back to france'. then Rhyno came out &
let me tell you us Irish love Rhyno about 2 seconds
after he started his entrance there was an 'ECW, ECW'
chant which turned into a Rhyno chant after the match
started up. After some back & forth basic action
Grenier started to control the match & indeed
controlled it for nearly 10 minutes with only brief
offences by Rhyno complete with 'ECW' chant everytime
he got a move in. Just when it looked like Rhyno
surely must lose he managed to get some offence in but
Rob Conway attacked Rhyno. (The crowd chanted' You
will never beat the Irish' about now)
Then all of a sudden Eugene ran out & grabbed the
French flag distracting The Heels allowing Rhyno to
Gore & pin Grenier. There were several noticable
Eugene signs & the fans loved him. William Regal also
cam out to help Eugene back to the locker room but rob
Conway challanged him to a match & Eugene excepted.
Winner Rhyno
Wasting no time The Two attacked each other with Rob
coming out on top. After some domination Eugene made
a popular comeback but shortly after Grenier tripped
him up. Regal then dragged Grenier of the Rin apron &
Ko'ed him. Meanwhile Rob was controlling Eugene but
Eugene made a big comeback & pinned Rob After a big
top rope move. (I couldn't see what as somebody
choose that moment to walk by me with a big sign.)
This was a short but enjoyable match.
Winner Eugene.
So what could be next. Chris Jericho that's what &
the place went nuts. Then out came Edge & the crowd
was even louder & then out came shawn Micheals yes
this was a 6 man tag. Intresting enough some fans
hated Shawn but loved Edge & Chris. There was even a
Small 'you screwed Bret chant'. Their opponents were
Orton, Flair & Batista who were booed & cheered imn
equal amounts. (There was a huge Woooooo chant.)
After some action involving various members of the
teams which included all 3 faces putting Figure Four
leglocks on the Heels the match setteled down. Well
the match did the fans chanted & shouted for the
entire match. the Three heels dominated much of the
match & it was Jericho they dominated. Flair was in
the ring the most & did 2 flair flops & a failed top
rope move much to the amusement of the crowd. Batista
did some good power moves, Flair did the Figure 4 on
Jericho & Orton got in a Orton cutter but not the pin.
As for the faces Edge speared all three at one point
& Jericho did the Walls. Shawn had little ring time
but had a hugh 'HBK chant' going for a while.
The finish came when all 6 fought at ringside & Orton
& Shawn, who were lagal returned to the ring. Shawn
superkicked Orton's head off & pinned him for the win.
Winner's Edge, Shawn & Jericho.
Then all three posed for a while & Edge even had a
camera & was filming the crowd.
Next Was Woman's champ Victoria Vs Molly.
Victoria was over no doubt the Crowd loved her as was
Molly who we chanted 'Baldy' at non stop. Molly
controlled half the match but missed a Molly Go Round
& landed on her butt. Victoria took over then &
dominated for most of the rest of the match including
a great standing moonsault. In the end Molly
dominating again mistimed a move & lost her wig.
Distracted Viv hit Molly with the widow's peak for the
win.
Winner Victoria.
Intermission was next. I bought a HHH & A Matt
Tee-shirt.
After the Break the Fink, who was introducing every
match, introduced the next match. no sorry what am I
thinking first was the pre match angle.
Stacy came out & started dancing to the Crowd's
delight but Eric Bischoff came out & ordered her out
of the ring. Stacy though said she had a susprise for
Eric & out came Johnny Nitro with a cake. Johnny &
Stacy held the cake & sung happy Birthday to Eric.
Two guesses what happened next yep Eric's face & the
cake interacted thanks to stacy. Furious Nitro
attacked Stacy but Hurricane made the save. Then
Garrison Cade ran out & Nitro & Cade double teamed
Hurricane, Bischoff ran the bell & announced this was
now a handicap match.
Hurricane made several comebacks always cut short by
the handicap stipulation but in the End Rosie helped
out & Hurricane got the pin on nitro.
Winner Hurricane.
Shelton Benjamin was up next & again there was a huge
pop. Then Kane made hiw way out to an even bigger
pop, Kane was a fan fafourite here. Both men were
cheered with every move but Kane dominated the match
as expected. Benjamin hit Several Stinger Style
splashes at one point but only got a 2 1/2 count.
Kane won with a big chokeslam & both men left to a
standing ovation.
Then it was the Main Event Benoit Vs HHH.
After the entrances & chants of 'HHH' & Benoit HHH
grabbed a mic. Then 'you tapped out started & kept up
for half the match on & off'.
HHH started talking & told Benoit he would never lose
this match, He also called us Irish 'Stupid Potato
pickers who he was going to Bitch Slap if we chanted
'You tapped out'. Of course we started chanting
straight away.
The Two went back & forth for some time in a very
enjoyable match until enexpectdly a fan tried to
attack HHH & actually made it into the ring.
Was it a work a plant? Not sure it might have being
but either way security threw the guy out the door to
a chant of 'Asshole' & 'na na na na goodbye'.
HHH got in a pedagire (sp?) at one point but had
before that accidently ko'ed the Ref.
The match ended after some more action when HHH tapped
out to Benoit.
Afret some Benoit posing the lights came up & we
started to leave the building.
Overall a very enjoyable event & not one dud match on
the card.
Biggest pops. Impossible to pick as everybody was
loved Heel or Face but here goes
