Earl Hebner, probably the most famous WWE referee in history has been fired from WWE today for allegedly selling merchandise without authorization from WWE.
This story is still developing but contrary to other reports, as of right now his brother Dave Hebner is still with WWE.
Earl Hebner over the years has been in many high profile WWE Main Events, including the famous Montreal screw job with Bret Hart vs Shawn Michaels. Hebner is usually the referee who works the main event matches at most PPV's including working Hogan vs Andre The Giant and many other big matches over the years.
