Well first of all it was the best seats ive ever had at a WWE event. Two of my friends and I saw rigside around the ring, up front and front row.

The Raw House show kicked off with the return of Kane! The lights went to red as "The Big Red Machine" came out. His opponet Tyson Tomko.
Kane vs Tomko
* Of course Kane got a huge ovation, becasue 1 - He was the first face to come out and 2- It was his return match form being injured.
It happened to be the quickest and worst match of the night. Both men just used their strength to over power each other, back and fourth. Actually Tomko had a lot of misses, which were easily seen from so close ... with a smile on his face (probably in embarsement) TOmko missed atleast 2 punches that were supposed to land on Kane. Towards the end which had to be only about 6 or 7 minutes, Kane nailed the chockslame on Tomko for the 1,2,3. My guess would be the WWE didnt want Kane to rsik further injuries in just a house show, since his real return to Raw (televised) was just the day after.

Winner: Kane

Next was Val Venis and Viscera taking on the Tag Team Champs Murdoch and Cade.

*This match was on of the most vocal while wrestling, as the Tag Champs kept interacting with the fans as heels. Murdoch (the uglier one) was spitting every where as he yelled at the crowd in San Jose. The Champs did the smart move and double teamed the small of the two, Val Venis for most of the match. The action spilled outside the ring on a number of occasions, as the double teaming continued. After a bunch of near falls , Venis finally tagged out to Viscera, which then Worlds Biggesr Love Machine cleaned house. Later on however just as Double V were an inch away from the tag titles, Cade gets a cheap low blow on Val followed by the roll up pin and win!

Winners: Trevor Murdoch and Lance Cade

The Master piece, Chris Masters was next up to take on the Japenese Buzz Saw, Tajiri.

*Crowd backed Tajiri the whole match as he mounted those dangerous kicks of his. Match was actually pretty good, going back and fourth. Masters didnt do any high risk moves or out stadnings ones, just his normal grapple, punch and kick type. So Tajiri made the match, by flipping off the ropes , being follwoed up by hurrican-ranas and spinning heel kicks. He kept getting only 2 counts however as Masters showed his strength advantage against Tajiri. Speed and quickness almost conquered Masters as Tajiri conitnued to counter his moves. However Tajiri wasent coutnering the MASTER LOCK anytime soon .... well then again who does? Tajiri afetr being kicked is bent over only to walk right into the MASTER LOCK ... and after almost a minute - he's knocked out, like all the rest.

Winner: Chris Masters

Next up was Shelton Benjamin vs Kirwin White along w/ Nick Nemeth.

*I had to look up what Nick Nemeths name was ... because while at ringside the crowd chanted "Whats Your Name?" "Whats Your Name?" The crowd really got into the whole "Your Chavo" chants , which didn't sit well with Kirwin. After a lot of jarring at the crowd during the match, Kirwin finally just played dumb and would yell back at the crowd , "Whos Chavo? and "I don't know what your talking about?!" Shelton was looking good as he was flying all over the ring. He dominated Kirwin most of the match and when he nailed his finisher only to have Nemeth interfear before Shelton got the win ... resulting in a DQ. The crowd booed Kirwin almsot out of the arena as jsut before they leave the stage, out comes Matt Striker. (this was before he turned on Shelton recently on Heat by the way) Striker ran out and demanded instead of a DQ , for the fans , they should make it a tag match. Crowd got back into it but Kirwin and Nemeth disagreed and satrted to walk off ... but weh nthe ref satretd couting them out they ran back ... and it turned into a tag match ... Kirwin White and Nick Nemeth vs Shelton Benjamin and Matt Striker. Nothing special once the tag match was made but Kriwin bascially left Nemeth for dead as he is scared out of the ring, by the double teaming ... Benjamin and Striker get the pin fall shortly after on Nemeth for the tag team win.

Winners: Shelton Benjamin by DQ and Benjamin and Striker in the Tag Match

Probably the second worst theme music in the WWE just ahead of Kirwin White's .... was "The Con-Man" Rob Conway who made his way out to the ring to take on Eugune. Before the match Eugune took some cotton candy from someone in the audience and sahred it with other people in the audience and even a little bit to the referee! When he got to the last part of the pink cotton candy he offered the rest to Conway, only for him to reject it ... Euguene put on a sad face but then ate the rest himself ... Once the match finally got under way, Eugune actually put on a better fight then I thought he could, against the Con-Man. A lot of submissions were used to try and slow down Conway and get him tired throughout the match, but didnt prevail in the outsome, becuase Conway dominated to end it and got the 1,2,3.

Winner: Rob Conway

Edge came out with Lita to take on the Big Show!

* Ive never seen so many gay references before at an event by the wrestlers, but esepcailly in this match, it kept occuring. Big Show actually kissed Edge in the middle of the ring before the match! Edge got on the microphone afetr being disgusted and said he "refused to fight a gay giant!" Big Show just stood there with a huge grin on his face and made a reference to Edges purple pants ... saying "Edge must be the gay one for wearing those bright purple pants". After the two stood off again, the match then got under way. During the match on the out side of the ring, my friend swears that Lita glanced at him and made " a look of lust" towards him ... but i let him know hes crazy and there isent going to be no love triangle in San Jose! During the match Big Show then yelled down to Lita at ring side ... "You know you want a kiss too! ... but your not as cute as him anways , so dream on!" Or something to that extend, which even further creeps me out toward the Big Show, but the fans seemed to love it. Edge tries for a spear and misses and later on after one Chokeslame attemtp failed. .. and second one will not! As Big Show slams down Edge for the (upset win in my opinion) Decent match though ... but the entertainment of the Big Show made the match.

Winner: Big Show

Intermission ... then onto my fav. match to STARE AT. .. but certianly not the best ... Trish teams up with Ashley (one of my new fav. divas only behind Stacy Keibler :) vs Torrie Wilson and Victoria ... Ashley went to the tops ropes and catapulted Victoria off. While Candice Michelle was looking better than ever at ringside... probably becuase it was in person when I saw her now ... and up close and personal from the front row! She was wearing this short black dress!!!!!! ahhh anyways ya about the match ... The girls duked it out but Trish nailed the stratus-faction on Torrie and got the win!

Winners: Trish and Ashley

One of my fav. heels was next up ... and this match was "Coooooool" as "Caribean Cool" Carlito took on The Nature Boy Ric Flair!

Of course we got a lot of the wooooo chants going on , esepcailly when the slaps came into play. Surprisingly Flair didnt have not one stich in his head or any bandages of any kind , after the brutal assault HHH put on him about a week before .... how ever the next night on a televised Raw his head was all cut up. ... hmmmm very interesting ........ anyways! Decent match as submissions were mainly used in this one. Flair locked in his signature Figure Four, but Calrito countered and flipped Flair around to increase the pain on Flair ... but Flair manages to turn over and re-apply the move now on Carlito. Just like the match itself, going back and fourth, after Carlito broke the hold, Flair got to his feet and did his usualy strut around the ring. Carlito mounted some offense, only to be knocked down in the middle of the ring as Flair now applys the figure four once more ... with no ropes on sight , Carlito has now choice but to tap out ... now that isen't "cool"!

Winner: Ric Flair

The mainevent pitted the WWE Champion John Cena against "The American Hero" Kurt Angle

This match was made a NO DQ match. Very funny moment during the match, when Kurt did some kind of cheap shot on Cena I believe and someone from the audience yelled at the ref. call the match fair!!! The referee (who happened to be the veteren Mike Chiota) yelled back at the fan "Its NO DQ asshole!" Everyone in the front row had to laugh as not even the ref could keep his cool .... but it is called World Wrestling Entertaiment for a reason - and that was entertainment. As not much longer someone else yelled at the ref after Cena was choking out Angle.. and the ref broke it up. A fan yelled "It's NO DQ!" ... Chiota screamed back ... "I know but im not just gunna let him choke him to death!" Ha for the most part very entertaing and the match itself was good. Toward the end Angle controled it as it was near fall after near fall. Cena kicked out of a top rope manuever and then even kicked out of Angles own "Angle Slam". Angle kept on Cena with the beating and trying to score a victory via submission, but John Cena would not tap out either! Cena gained a little control and scored some close pin falls on Angle himself. After Kurt Angle could not get the 3 count on Cena, he became restless and went for the chair ... that was knocked down but the steel stairs were put into the ring. Cena goes for a bull dog to Angle on the stairs ... but once again only a long 2! The stairs were took out of the ring but not the chair - as it lay in the middle of the ring. Cena nails his own F-U onto the chair, as Angle lays on his back and is finally pinned to end the main event. Cena looked exhausted afterwards and maybe even injured as it took him awhile to crawl his way out of the ring after beaing Angle.

Before the show me and my two friends waited on the steet corner outside the arena in the back where the wreslters show up in their cars... First to arrive was Matt Striker followed by Val Venis. I got both of them to sign my "Raw T-Shirt" and then a funny moment was when Shelton Benjamin arrived in his car some crazy female fan, jumped in his way of entering the arena. He looked pissed as he slammed on his brakes, threw up his hands , yelled something out the window, and honked at her. When she moved, he peeled out past her into the arena ... Ironically later as the event started she was near ring side also and Benjamin came by and gave her a high five as she stretched out. (probably didnt realize it was her or maybe he forgot).

Last to arrive that was saw was John Cena ... he didnt sign autographs he just kept on driving ... but in his SUV was Eugune (as the passenger) and Tajiri in the back seat. A very wierd combination I would think - buddies . Cena/Eugune/and Tajiri but maybe those 2 just needed a lift from the air port?

Angle got a few cheers but he ususaly does get a mix decesion ... the crowd almost wanted to boo Cena after he first kicked out of Angels finisher- The Angle Slam, it seemed like.

Overall pretty good House Show ... first one ive been to since "Super Show" a few months back in Sacramento.
Grade: B- GOOD FIGHT GOOD NIGHT!
