RAW this week starts with a runner. He’s running in the street outside and has a torch in his hand.

Music and pyro.

HBK comes out in wrestling gear and his cowboy hat. He looks a bit stiff and sore, but otherwise fine. JR says he thinks the outcome would have been different if HBK had been able to use the super kick. “HBK” chants.
He says there’s not excuses, the better man won last night. That gets a bit of heat. He wants to invite Orton out so he can shake his hand. He calls Orton out. “Sweet chin music” chants.
Orton is on the tron and says he’s not coming out. He says to look at his face that’s all scraped and bruised from a super kick. He knows HBK would kick him if he came out.
HBK says he would have kicked him again, but only after challenging him to another title match.
Orton says HBK only wants to end his career. He says he proved he was the better man last night. He was the better man when he beat HHH. He was the better man when he took out Cena. He refers to the runner that was shown earlier. He says he’s running from Miami to Fort Lauderdale. He signifies the passing of the torch to Orton.
Kennedy’s music and he comes out. They glare at each other, face to face in the ring. HBK hits Kennedy and then clotheslines him from the ring. HBK leaves the ring and Kennedy gains the upper hand. HBK gets tossed into the ring post.
Kennedy gets in the ring and grabs HBK’s mic. He says HBK had his shot and it’s Kennedy’s turn.
HBK pulls Kennedy from the ring and beats him down with a clothesline.
HBK gets in the ring and says he now has his chance because he stepped on HBK’s toes.
Kennedy says HBK is called the Show Stopper, but names are earned. What’s HBK known for. Losing to Cena losing to Orton, losing his smile. He tells HBK he’s a loser.
Regal comes out and says the should do this properly and calls for a ref.

They are brawling on the ramp. JR says the bell has yet to sound because they haven’t been in the ring. HBK enters the ring and leaves again. They fight over to the ring bell and HBK clotheslines Kennedy over the barrier. Kennedy sends HBK back to the ring area and follows. Kennedy gets bounced off the announce table and they end up brawling behind the announce table.
HBK get slammed into the side of the ring. Kennedy tosses HBK into the ring and grabs a chair. Kennedy gets on the apron with the chair and HBK hits sweet chin music on Kennedy through the chair. Kennedy goes flying to the floor.
HBK’s music plays and he poses in the ring. The bell never sounded, so there wasn’t ever a real match. Kennedy is still laying on the floor holding his face.

JR talks about SS and the return of Edge. He says how great the whole PPV was.

Santino comes out in wrestling gear. Video of King punching out Santino last week. Then they show pat of the match between them that King won. King comes out to face Santino. He’s actually in wrestling gear this week.
“Jerry chants. Santino yells at the ref who talks to King before they start. A drop kick to Santino. Santino gets to his feet and backs into a corner. They then lock up and King is backed into a corner. A couple shoulders to King’s gut in the corner. King reverses to another corner and punches to the gut. King goes after Santino and lands shoulder first to the ring post. Santino hits a head butt to King’s lower back.
King is down and Santino leaves the ring. He grabs a mic and King’s crown. He mangles JR’s call phrases. He enters the ring and talks about puppies. Jerry gets up and hits a hard right. A hiplock take over from King. King goes for a back slide and gets the three count.

Out of no where comes Orton who hits an RKO on King. Santino runs like his ass is on fire. Orton grabs a mic and says he’s sorry to the King, he couldn’t help himself. He goes to the tron to show the runner with the torch. He says it feels like it was only yesterday he beat HBK. Oh yes, it was yesterday. Now there’s going to be the passing of the torch.

Grisham is out back with Kennedy. Kennedy says all he did was go out to the ring to show HBK respect. But HBK decided to super kick a chair into his face. Kennedy asks why he’d do that. He says he did it because his career is evaporating before his eyes. He sees talent in Kennedy that he hasn’t seen in himself in years. He’s trying to hold Kennedy down. Father time is catching up with him. But the next time their paths cross he doesn’t need to worry about father time, but Mr. Kennedy.

JR talks about how Hornswoggle had to face Khali last night. Shane was there and Finlay got involved. Video of leading up the match and then video and stills of the match.

Out back Vince is talking with Regal and Coach. He says he wants to know what their favorite parts of SS was. Regal and Coach talk about Hornswoggle and how scared he was, the abuse he took. They talk more and Vince gets more and more pissed. They bring up Finlay and Vince gets pissed.
A knock and Carlito comes in. He says he’s there to show his appreciation for the tough love Vince showed Hornswoggle. Vince asks how tough Carlito is. He asks what would happen if Carlito took on a McMahon. A 4 foot McMahon. Carlito laughs and says he’ll do it. Carlito leaves laughing. Coach and Regal are laughing, Vince isn’t. Vince is not happy at all.

Jeff Hardy’s music and he comes dancing out.

WWE Slam Of The Week - SS last night - HHH against Umaga. Jeff Hardy tags in, hits a swanton and pins Umaga for three.

Umaga comes down to face Jeff. King is back at the announce table.
Jeff attacks Umaga but is pushed away. He goes back after Umaga and gets pushed away. Umaga tries to splash Jeff but Jeff moves. A low drop kick on Umaga and Jeff covers for one. A sunset flip but Umaga holds the ropes and doesn’t go over. Jeff goes after Umaga again and gets slammed down. “Hardy” chants. Umaga gets Jeff to his feet by his hair. Jeff throws a few punches, but gets slammed down. Umaga gets a nerve pinch on Jeff. Jeff works his way to his feet, but gets dropped back down due to the pain of the nerve pinch. Jeff gets to his feet and elbows Umaga. Jeff gets slammed back down but is out of the hold. Umaga then re-locks the hold onto Jeff. Jeff again gets to his feet and out of the hold. Jeff gets thrown into a corner. Umaga backs up and runs at Jeff. Jeff moves and Umaga hits hard. Jeff hits a DDT. Jeff goes onto the apron to climb but Umaga hits him from behind. Jeff goes flying into the barrier.

Jeff has the nerve pinch on again. During the commercial was bad for Jeff, Umaga was in control the whole time. Jeff gets to his feet and elbows out. Jeff picks Umaga up but falls back with Umaga on top. Umaga covers for two. The nerve hold is reapplied on Jeff. Jeff gets to his feet and is trying to get to the ropes, but can’t ad is back on the mat. “Hardy” chants. Jeff gets to his feet but gets hit with a back body drop. Umaga drops a leg on Jeff. Umaga splashes Jeff and covers for two. A couple kicks to Jeff’s chest and slams him down. Umaga covers for two. Umaga covers again for two. A punch to Jeff’s face and he rolls to the apron. Jeff gets to his feet and hangs Umaga up on the top rope. Jeff climbs and flies (barely) into a cross body that Umaga catches. Jeff gets slammed down hard in a sidewalk slam and covered for two. The fans are really behind Hardy. Umaga stomps Jeff’s chest. Umaga reapplies the nerve pinch. Jeff gets to his feet and punches out, but immediately runs into Umaga foot. Umaga gets up on the second rope in the corner. He tries to splash but Jeff rolls out of the way. Both are down for four. An upper cut from Umaga drop Jeff in a corner. Umaga goes for the bum slamm but Jeff moves. Jeff runs up a corner and hits a twist of fate. Jeff covers Umaga for two. Jeff blocks Umaga blows and hits his own. Jeff misses a twist of fate but hits a mule kick. Umaga charges and hits the ring post. Jeff goes for the swanton but Umaga moves. Jeff gets slammed down and Umaga calls for the Samoan spike, but misses. Jeff hits a twist of fate and Umaga leaves the ring. A baseball slide to Umaga and then Jeff flies out over the top onto him. Jeff is back in the ring but Snitsky attacks him from behind.

Snitsky beats Jeff down. Jeff gets back up and is fighting back until Umaga re-enters the ring and hits a Samoan spike. HHH’s music and out he comes to the rescue.
Umaga and HHH go at it. HHH gets whipped but moves to Umaga hits the ring post. HHH hits a spine buster on Umaga. A clothesline over the top sends Umaga outside. Snitsky goes after him but HHH hits a face buster. Snitsky gets clotheslined from the ring.
Jeff enters the ring and they hug. The heels are outside the ring and the faces tell them to come on back in, they’re ready for them. HHH is pumped up.

Another mysterious video with the same codes, but this one says TONIGHT. (The thing is according to last week’s video it should have happened at 9:45. It’s already 10:09 and this is the first sign we’ve had.)

Jeff and HHH are talking out back. Grisham comes up as Jeff leaves. Grisham asks why HHH helped Jeff. HHH says he’s the good samaritan of the WWE. But of course no one believes that. Well, when you have two guys like Umaga and Snitsky talking that they are big and tough, HHH has to show them who’s really the tough guy. He and Jeff have nothing in common but respect. Kind of like HHH and Grisham have nothing in common. Like out at the bars in South Beach last night. When HHH sees a transvestite he goes in the other direction, unlike Grisham.
Grisham says that he looked like a woman!

Hardcore Holly comes to the ring. Cody comes out to face Holly!
They lock up and Cody is backed into a corner. Cody reverses it. Cody gives a clean break but give Holly his back. Holly gains control. Holly gets a quick inside cradle for two. They get nose to nose talking smack. A scoop slam to Cody. A hard forearm to Cody’s back. A chin lock on Cody in the center of the ring. Cody gets to his feet and out. Cody gets hit down again. Cody gets backed into a corner and a couple of Holly chops. Cody comes out fighting. A Russian leg sweep from Cody who covers for two. Holly then takes Cody down with a drop kick. Holly sets up for the Alabama slam. Cody wiggles out. Cody hits a DDT and rolls up Holly for three.

Orton comes out of no where and hits an RKO on Cody. He says he knows he’s not supposed to be out there, but... He hits an RKO on Holly. He says he has an update on his torch runner. He’s in Fort Lauderdale and the torch is still burning. So it’s only a matter of time before Orton gets the respect he deserves. Orton leaves the ring and up the ramp.

JR announce an Orton tribute video by Orton. It’s just that, a video of Orton beating the heck out of people.

Vince is out back and runs into Finlay who gives his call phrase. Vince says he won’t forget that or what happened in the Hornswoggle match. Vince says he’s not big on surprises. He says the Irish like surprises. Vince says he’s just as Irish as Finlay. Finlay demands to know where Vince was born. Vince skirts the issue then says they have to go out for a drink tonight. Finlay says he’ll get Vince a nice big glass of hot milk, which is perfect for someone Vince’s age. Finlay then says he’s joking. Finlay says he’ll go get ready.

Maria and Mickie are heading for the ring. Mickie is in a yellow halter corset top with matching pants. Maria is in a sparkly purple tiny top and black pants.

Melina comes out with Jillian. Melina is in a blue version of her outfit. Jillian is in a tiny blue top and jeans. Melina grabs Lillian’s mic, Jillian takes it form her. Jillian says, “Hello Miami!” This gets her huge boos!!! She announces John Cicada in the front row. She asks about him supporting Lillian and that he did a duet with her on her CD. She says he didn’t know what he was getting himself into on that one. He gets pissed. She says she doesn’t know why he’s in Florida supporting the CD because no one in Florida understands Mexican talk. She wants to blow him away with her singing. She sings and gets huge heat. She says they love her here! She says she’s ver versatile. She says she can do opera and screams at the top of her lungs. “You suck!” chants. She tell Lillian it’s time for her to be second best and slams the mic into her chest.
Maria and Melina start off. An arm bar on Maria. She knees her way out and whips Melina. A clothesline to Melina in the corner and then a bucking bronco. Jillian grabs Maria’s hair from the back on the apron. Melina slides out between her legs and slams her to he mat.
Jillian tags in and does this huge flipping move off the corner. Maria moves and Melina gets landed on. Mickie tags in and slams Jillian around. Head scissors and a neck breaker to Jillian but Jillian kicks out after two. Melina gets to her feet and wants a cheap shot but Maria grabs her ankle form outside. A back kick from Mickie. Mickie grabs Jillian’s hair, pulls her head back and kisses her hard. A kick to Jillian’s face and Mickie covers for three.

Hornswoggle’s music and he comes out from under the ring. It’s now a No DQ Match. Carlito is still laughing when he comes out to face him.
Carlito is still laughing. He pushes Horney’s face away and then tweaks his beard. Carlito hold his hand high for a test of strength. He then gets on his knees to do it. He swaps hands ever time Horney puts a hand up. He pushes Horney down. Horney bites Carlito bum. Horney leaves the ring with Carlito chasing him. Horney steals JR’s hat, dances on the announce table then puts the hat on Lillian. Horney then goes under the ring. Carlito won’t go under there and gets back in the ring. Carlito tip-toes across the ring and looks under the other side. Horney comes out the original side with a bucket of water. Carlito gets back on his feet and gets a face full of water.
Horney goes for a cross body but Carlito catches him. Carlito climbs the stairs and dumps Horney into the ring over the top rope. Carlito chomps away on his apple. Finlay comes up behind Carlito and gets apple spit in his face. Finlay takes Carlito down. Horney covers Carlito for three.

Horney takes a bite of apple and spits it in a prone Carlito’s face.

The runner is still running with the torch in his hand. He’s right outside the arena.

Orton comes out to the ring. (It’s 10:58 and no Y2J.) The ring has a red carpet. Orton gets in and holds up his belt. Orton says, “And then, there was none.” He says he’s taken out every superstar and legend in his path. He’s beaten all there is to beat. It’s time for the torch to be passed to him. Outside the runner is heading in with the torch. Orton says he’s ready for this, he deserves this, he’s earned this.
The runner enters the building and is clotheslined. All we see is the person from behind - short blond hair.
HUGE “Y2J” chants. JR and King act all shocked.
His entrance is more of the video asking of we broke the code and the answer is the code. SAVE_USS_229. The number 2 rolls to be Y and the 9 rolls to be J.
Jericho comes out and Orton plays the shock up well. (Damn he looks HOT!!! - sorry, the girl in me came out there.) He’s on stage in black pants, a white tank and a silver sequined vest. He has a HUGE grin on his face as he wanders the stage waving to the fans who are going bloody wild. Y2J hold up his arm with the mic and the music stops. More chants. “Welcome to RAW is Jericho!!!” This is not a mirage, this is real. It’s the second coming of Y2J. He says to take out their cell phones, take a picture, text their friends, tell them all the sexy beats is back, baby. “Y2J” chants. He promises to delight and excite. It’s 100% electricity, 100% Jericho. He comes part way down the ramp as he talks.
Orton asks who the hell he thinks he is. Last time he saw Jericho he was getting fired. Jericho should have stayed so Orton could have kicked his head in. Orton asks what exactly he’s saving them from.
Jericho says Orton’s personality, his ugly face, his childbearing hips, his subscription to blue ball magazine. Most importantly, he’s there to save us from Orton. First chance he gets he’s going to take the title away from Orton and put it around his gorgeous waist and no one will never - the fans play off this greatly - ever be the same, again!
Jericho goes back up on stage and runs back and forth getting the fans going even louder.
