RAW this week starts with a runner. He’s running in the street outside and has a torch in his hand. Music and pyro. HBK comes out in wrestling gear and his cowboy hat. He looks a bit stiff and sore, but otherwise fine. JR says he thinks the outcome would have been different if HBK had been able to use the super kick. “HBK” chants. - Commercial They are brawling on the ramp. JR says the bell has yet to sound because they haven’t been in the ring. HBK enters the ring and leaves again. They fight over to the ring bell and HBK clotheslines Kennedy over the barrier. Kennedy sends HBK back to the ring area and follows. Kennedy gets bounced off the announce table and they end up brawling behind the announce table. - Commercial JR talks about SS and the return of Edge. He says how great the whole PPV was. Santino comes out in wrestling gear. Video of King punching out Santino last week. Then they show pat of the match between them that King won. King comes out to face Santino. He’s actually in wrestling gear this week. - Winner: King Out of no where comes Orton who hits an RKO on King. Santino runs like his ass is on fire. Orton grabs a mic and says he’s sorry to the King, he couldn’t help himself. He goes to the tron to show the runner with the torch. He says it feels like it was only yesterday he beat HBK. Oh yes, it was yesterday. Now there’s going to be the passing of the torch. - Commercial More of the torch bearer running. Grisham is out back with Kennedy. Kennedy says all he did was go out to the ring to show HBK respect. But HBK decided to super kick a chair into his face. Kennedy asks why he’d do that. He says he did it because his career is evaporating before his eyes. He sees talent in Kennedy that he hasn’t seen in himself in years. He’s trying to hold Kennedy down. Father time is catching up with him. But the next time their paths cross he doesn’t need to worry about father time, but Mr. Kennedy. JR talks about how Hornswoggle had to face Khali last night. Shane was there and Finlay got involved. Video of leading up the match and then video and stills of the match. Out back Vince is talking with Regal and Coach. He says he wants to know what their favorite parts of SS was. Regal and Coach talk about Hornswoggle and how scared he was, the abuse he took. They talk more and Vince gets more and more pissed. They bring up Finlay and Vince gets pissed. Jeff Hardy’s music and he comes dancing out. - Commercial WWE Slam Of The Week - SS last night - HHH against Umaga. Jeff Hardy tags in, hits a swanton and pins Umaga for three. Umaga comes down to face Jeff. King is back at the announce table. - Commercial Jeff has the nerve pinch on again. During the commercial was bad for Jeff, Umaga was in control the whole time. Jeff gets to his feet and elbows out. Jeff picks Umaga up but falls back with Umaga on top. Umaga covers for two. The nerve hold is reapplied on Jeff. Jeff gets to his feet and is trying to get to the ropes, but can’t ad is back on the mat. “Hardy” chants. Jeff gets to his feet but gets hit with a back body drop. Umaga drops a leg on Jeff. Umaga splashes Jeff and covers for two. A couple kicks to Jeff’s chest and slams him down. Umaga covers for two. Umaga covers again for two. A punch to Jeff’s face and he rolls to the apron. Jeff gets to his feet and hangs Umaga up on the top rope. Jeff climbs and flies (barely) into a cross body that Umaga catches. Jeff gets slammed down hard in a sidewalk slam and covered for two. The fans are really behind Hardy. Umaga stomps Jeff’s chest. Umaga reapplies the nerve pinch. Jeff gets to his feet and punches out, but immediately runs into Umaga foot. Umaga gets up on the second rope in the corner. He tries to splash but Jeff rolls out of the way. Both are down for four. An upper cut from Umaga drop Jeff in a corner. Umaga goes for the bum slamm but Jeff moves. Jeff runs up a corner and hits a twist of fate. Jeff covers Umaga for two. Jeff blocks Umaga blows and hits his own. Jeff misses a twist of fate but hits a mule kick. Umaga charges and hits the ring post. Jeff goes for the swanton but Umaga moves. Jeff gets slammed down and Umaga calls for the Samoan spike, but misses. Jeff hits a twist of fate and Umaga leaves the ring. A baseball slide to Umaga and then Jeff flies out over the top onto him. Jeff is back in the ring but Snitsky attacks him from behind. - Winner: Jeff Hardy via DQ Snitsky beats Jeff down. Jeff gets back up and is fighting back until Umaga re-enters the ring and hits a Samoan spike. HHH’s music and out he comes to the rescue. Another mysterious video with the same codes, but this one says TONIGHT. (The thing is according to last week’s video it should have happened at 9:45. It’s already 10:09 and this is the first sign we’ve had.) - Commercial Video of the last match and HHH’s rescue. Jeff and HHH are talking out back. Grisham comes up as Jeff leaves. Grisham asks why HHH helped Jeff. HHH says he’s the good samaritan of the WWE. But of course no one believes that. Well, when you have two guys like Umaga and Snitsky talking that they are big and tough, HHH has to show them who’s really the tough guy. He and Jeff have nothing in common but respect. Kind of like HHH and Grisham have nothing in common. Like out at the bars in South Beach last night. When HHH sees a transvestite he goes in the other direction, unlike Grisham. Hardcore Holly comes to the ring. Cody comes out to face Holly! - Winner: Cody Orton comes out of no where and hits an RKO on Cody. He says he knows he’s not supposed to be out there, but... He hits an RKO on Holly. He says he has an update on his torch runner. He’s in Fort Lauderdale and the torch is still burning. So it’s only a matter of time before Orton gets the respect he deserves. Orton leaves the ring and up the ramp. - Commercial Video of Cody beating Holly and then getting attacked by Orton. Holly then gets hit with the RKO. JR announce an Orton tribute video by Orton. It’s just that, a video of Orton beating the heck out of people. Vince is out back and runs into Finlay who gives his call phrase. Vince says he won’t forget that or what happened in the Hornswoggle match. Vince says he’s not big on surprises. He says the Irish like surprises. Vince says he’s just as Irish as Finlay. Finlay demands to know where Vince was born. Vince skirts the issue then says they have to go out for a drink tonight. Finlay says he’ll get Vince a nice big glass of hot milk, which is perfect for someone Vince’s age. Finlay then says he’s joking. Finlay says he’ll go get ready. Maria and Mickie are heading for the ring. Mickie is in a yellow halter corset top with matching pants. Maria is in a sparkly purple tiny top and black pants. - Commercial Flair promo. He’ll be on RAW next Monday. Melina comes out with Jillian. Melina is in a blue version of her outfit. Jillian is in a tiny blue top and jeans. Melina grabs Lillian’s mic, Jillian takes it form her. Jillian says, “Hello Miami!” This gets her huge boos!!! She announces John Cicada in the front row. She asks about him supporting Lillian and that he did a duet with her on her CD. She says he didn’t know what he was getting himself into on that one. He gets pissed. She says she doesn’t know why he’s in Florida supporting the CD because no one in Florida understands Mexican talk. She wants to blow him away with her singing. She sings and gets huge heat. She says they love her here! She says she’s ver versatile. She says she can do opera and screams at the top of her lungs. “You suck!” chants. She tell Lillian it’s time for her to be second best and slams the mic into her chest. - Winners: Maria & Mickie Carlito is out back heading for the ring. - Commercial Hornswoggle’s music and he comes out from under the ring. It’s now a No DQ Match. Carlito is still laughing when he comes out to face him. - Winner: Hornswoggle Horney takes a bite of apple and spits it in a prone Carlito’s face. The runner is still running with the torch in his hand. He’s right outside the arena. - Commercial Orton comes out to the ring. (It’s 10:58 and no Y2J.) The ring has a red carpet. Orton gets in and holds up his belt. Orton says, “And then, there was none.” He says he’s taken out every superstar and legend in his path. He’s beaten all there is to beat. It’s time for the torch to be passed to him. Outside the runner is heading in with the torch. Orton says he’s ready for this, he deserves this, he’s earned this. Biggest heat Biggest mess up |
