RAW Report
3/10/08
Milwaukee
By: Kendra, rajah.com reporter

Well, I didn’t realize until about 20 minutes ago
that this was a three hour show, but I’m here.

RAW this week starts with music and pyro.

JR and King go through some of the matches and events
for tonight.

Ric Flair comes out to the ring in a suit sans tie.
He says last week HBK looked him in the eyes and said
he didn’t want to face Flair at WM. He didn’t want to
be the one to end his career. He had the audacity to
say that if Flair pushed the Show Stopper, he’d stop
Flair’s Show. Well, Flair invites him out to the ring
because he has something to tell him.
HBK comes out in an HBK t-shirt, jeans and his cowboy
hat. Flair grins at him as he enters the ring.
Flair tells him HBK has the best entrance in
professions wrestling today. But he has something to
say. When he started in this business sympathy didn’t
exist. Well, pity doesn’t exist in Flair’s vocabulary
today. But, he saw pity in HBK’s eyes last week. If
he can’t compete with the big boys, meaning HBK, then
he doesn’t want to compete. He doesn’t want to be
rescued. He wants to stand with the big boys not
having pity or sympathy. If he can’t stand with HBK
at WM, he shouldn’t be there. But, he thinks if he
had a good day, a real good day, he could get one on
HBK. He’s asking in front of everyone for 100%
commitment from HBK, right now.
HBK says he never meant to show pity. When he said
he loves Flair he meant it and there’s no pity in
love. HBK says he’s Mr. WM. He revolutionized the
ladder match, has been in the ring for over and hour.
He’s given some of the best WM moments ever. Flair
said to be the man, you’ve got to beat the man. Well,
at WM HBK will be the man. So if Flair’s show stops
or goes on, the show will get stolen.
They shake but HBK’s not done. He says it’s come to
his attention that Edge and his guys are facing Flair
on Friday. HBK normal reserves his Fridays for Dora
The Explorer and Higglytown Heros, but he’ll be there
for Flair. At least it will be three on them.
Orton comes out to the stage and comments on the
touching moment. Orton says tonight isn’t just a WM
Rewind, but Orton’s in charge. HHH will face Kane,
but there’s more. At the last WM HBK didn’t win.
Tonight HBK will face Cena.

The Show blinks off for about 20 seconds then comes
back with video of the Taker and Mark Henry WM casket
match. Tonight Taker will face Henry in a casket
match.

- Commercial

The casket is being brought to the ring. Taker’s
gong and out he comes. Henry comes out to face him.
Taker kicks Henry and throws punches. Henry reverse
the whip but Taker gets his foot up. A flying
shoulder and Henry goes down. Taker calls for the
casket to be opened but Taker and Henry don’t get
there. Taker goes up and tries for old school, but
Henry catches him in a bear hug. “Taker” chants.
Elbows to Henry’s forehead and Taker gets out. Henry
clotheslines Taker from the ring, but Taker lands on
his feet. Taker pulls Henry from the ring. Taker
gets tossed shoulder first into the security wall.
Henry gets Taker up on his shoulder and dashes for the
ring post, but Taker slides off and pushes Henry into
the ring post. Taker bounces Henry off the closed
casket. Henry returns to the ring and Taker follows.
Henry snatches Taker off his feet with one arm and
slams him down. Henry splashes Taker. The lid is
opened and Henry starts to pull Taker over to it.
Taker grabs Henry in his triangle choke. Henry taps
out, but it doesn’t matter.
Taker lets go and Henry rolls away bleeding from the
mouth. Taker calls for the casket to be opened again.
Henry is close to the edge of the ring and Taker
kicks him into the casket. Taker reaches out and
closes the lid.

- Winner: Taker

- Commercial

Mayweather is having fun out back with his crew of
guys.

Video about the Mayweather Bog Show feud. Lots of
people, including Michael Buffer talk about the match.
They’re having the weigh in tonight.

Earlier video of HHH talking about the WM match. He
says he lives to be champion. Last year was supposed
to be the match of the century, but he was sidelined.
When he came back Cena was out. At WM he gets a
chance to take back what’s his, to fight like his life
depends on it, because it does. Cena, Orton, game on.

- Commercial

WWE Slam of The Week - JBL is with Hornswoggle while
Finlay is in the ring. JBL shuts off the lights and
there’s lots of Horney screaming.

Kennedy comes out to the ring. Kennedy’s mic comes
down, but just as he touches it Finlay comes out.
JBL is on the tron and says not to start the match.
He says Finlay has accepted his challenge at WM, and
wants a Belfast Brawl. JBL thinks that’s great
because he can put Finlay in the hospital next to his
“pathetic little mutant son”.
The bell rings to start the match but Finlay attacks
Kennedy with his sheleighly. The bell rings again to
DQ Finlay.

- Winner: Kennedy

Finlay beats the hell out of Kennedy in the ring with
the sheleighly. Kennedy leaves the ring and Finlay
follows him out and keeps beating him with the
sheleighly. Kennedy gets away and back into the ring
but Finlay follows and continues the beating. A
couple refs get Finlay away and start guiding Kennedy,
hunched, up the ramp. But Finlay gets away and
attacks again. Finlay hits Kennedy over the head with
the sheleighly and leaves him face down on the ramp.
Finlay stalks out to cheers from the fans.

- Commercial

Video about Make A Wish. There will be 50 wish kids
from 50 states getting their wishes fulfilled at WM.
Cena got honored for the work he’s done. Next month
he will grant his 100th wish.

Jeff Hardy comes down to the ring. Video of last
week’s Highlight Reel when Jeff beat down Y2J. Y2J
comes out to face Jeff.
“Hardy” chants, but someone in the front row says
something to Jeff and he glares over at them. Y2J
bitch slaps Jeff. Jeff slaps him back. Y2J tackles
Jeff and takes him down hard. Punches to Jeff’s head.
Chops to Jeff who then takes Y2J down.

- Commercial

Y2J has a headlock on Jeff. Jeff gets out, but gets
backed into a corner. Chops to Jeff. Jeff manages to
toss Y2J from the ring and then baseball slides him.
Jeff goes outside to face Y2J, but gets his head
bounced off the announce table in a really loud and
crunchy way. They replay it and it looks gross. Back
in the ring Y2J covers for two. Back breaker to Jeff
and Y2J stretches Jeff over his knee. Y2J grinds an
elbow into Jeff’s gut. Jeff rakes Y2J’s eyes to get
out, but can’t gain control. Y2J chokes Jeff on the
ropes and then stands on the back of Jeff’s head while
he’s over the second rope. “Hardy” chants. A lariat
from Jeff takes Y2J down.
Y2J reverses a whip. Jeff runs up a corner and hits
whisper in the wind for two. Northern lights suplex
by Y2J for two. They bridge out and Jeff manages to
cover for two. Jeff tries to fly through the air at
Y2J, but Y2J moves. Y2J climbs and flies, but Jeff
was ready and rolled through for two. Jeff goes for
the twist of fate but Y2J reverses and hits a
lionsault for two. “Y2J” chants. Jeff tries for a
suplex but can’t get Y2J up. Y2J goes for the walls
but Jeff counters and rolls Y2J up for two. Jeff
finally manages to take Y2J down. Y2J rips off his
shirt and climbs. Y2J moves and Jeff misses the
swanton. Y2J hits the code breaker and covers for
three to end a wonderful match. Y2J is the new IC
Champion.

- Winner: Y2J

Video replay of the end of the match when Jeff missed
the swanton. Y2J goes up the ramp with his new title
while Jeff slowly rolls from the ring.

Out back Volkoff and Iron Sheik are on their way to
the ring to rewind at WM1 match!

- Commercial

WWE Rewind - WM 1985 - tag match where Iron Sheik and
Volkoff win the titles.

Volkoff and Sheik are in the ring. Volkoff is going
to sing the Soviet National Anthem (I think I’m glad I
was too young to watch this every week). After he’s
done Sheik takes the mic and talks up Iran Russia and
rips on the USA. US Express comes out to face them.
Jillian comes out to interrupt. She says she wasn’t
even born for WM1, but she knows that US Express came
out to Born In The USA. They can’t afford the rights
to the song, but she’s going to sing it for them. She
starts screeching the song. One of them picks her up
and gives her an amazingly fast airplane spin. He
puts he down and she falls in a heap and rolls from
the ring.
The old guys never wrestle as they agree that was
enough.

JR and King talk about this year’s WM. Then the
crappy announcer goes through the inductees into the
HOF. These two inductees had great singles careers,
but are brothers. Jack and Jerry Brisco! Another
wonderful HOF video for them.

- Commercial

Video of the Big Show. Most of it is him beating up
little guys, flipping over trucks and putting someone
through the ring.

Video of WM15 when HHH faced Kane. This was back
when Kane was masked.

Kane’s out back watching the video. Orton walks up
and says he knows Kane hates HHH, just like Orton
does. HHH has done horrible things to Kane, eve
unmasked him. Orton says HHH has made Kane his–
Kane grabs Orton around the throat and stops his
words. Kane says he doesn’t need a history lesson, he
remembers it all. Kane stomps out.

- Commercial

HHH comes out to the ring. Kane comes out to face
him.
They lock up and HHH is backed into a corner, but HHH
reverses it. They leave the corner but two hands
around HHH’s throat and he’s tossed back into the
corner. Kane telegraphs and it kicked for it, but HHH
is slammed down. HHH is bounced face first off the
corner and then punched down. HHH gets whipped but
comes out fighting. Kane whips HHH who flies out over
the top. Kane follows and bounces HHH’s face off the
announce table. HHH reverses Kane’s move and sends
Kane into the ring post. HHH gets back in the ring
before the ten count. Kane re-enters the ring. HHH
goes back outside, hangs Kane’s head off the apron and
drives his elbow into the back of Kane’s head. Back
in the ring HHH runs into a big boot. A low dropkick
to HHH’s face and Kane covers for two. HHH is back in
a corner and clotheslined there. HHH comes out of the
corner and hits a spinebuster. They’re both down for
five.
HHH comes back punching. Kane telegraphs and gets a
face buster. HHH sets up for a pedigree, but Kane
reverses it into a back body drop. Orton comes out to
the stage. Kane tries for a choke slam, but HHH
reverses out and goes for the pedigree. HHH sees
Orton and it’s a distraction. Kane climbs but HHH
gets a foot up into his gut. A pedigree and HHH
covers for three.

- Winner: HHH

HHH is glaring at Orton and staring at the title
belt. Orton looks down at the belt then over at HHH.

- Commercial

Cena video from earlier about WM. He says he’s often
asks what WM means to him. It may be cliche, but it
mean everything. This year he wasn’t supposed to be
back, but he risked everything and came back to go to
WM. He should be mad at Orton, but it made him want
to fight and come back to face Orton and HHH. WM is
the top dogs fighting it out for the biggest prize.
He knows what it feels like to have his hand raised on
that day and will again.

Melina comes down to the ring in a dark red version
of her wrestling outfit. Beth is with her in brown
pants and gold top. Video of last years WM when
Melina faced Ashley and won the title. Melina takes a
mic and says she was looking forward to beating Ashley
again tonight, but she’s injured. Just like a Playboy
bunny who looks great on the outside, but not inside.
So tonight will be a WM pre-match. Maria comes out in
while pants and tiny gold top with hoodie. Candice is
with her in black pants and a halter.
They lock up and Melina kicks Maria in the gut. Maria
tries for head scissors but is pushed off. Melina is
whipped but kicks Maria. Maria takes Melina down with
a snap mare and covers for two.
Santino comes out to the ring. Melina slams Maria’s
face to the mat. A head lock to Maria who hits a jaw
buster on Melina. Santino gets on the apron, gets
Maria’s attention and rips up a Playboy. Melina slams
Maria down and covers for three.

- Winner: Melina

Beth rushes in and takes down Candice. Melina and
Beth leave the ring area with Santino. Candice checks
on Maria in the ring. Video replay of Santino ripping
up the magazine.

Another video about Mayweather and Show.

- Commercial

Shane-O-Mac comes out to the ring in a beautiful blue
pinstriped suit, but he’s wearing brown shoes! He
says it’s his pleasure to introduce the weigh-in
between Show and Mayweather. He introduces Show
first, listing his title wins. Mayweather is
announced next with his title holds and his 39-0
history. He comes out with more than a half dozen
guys.
Shane asks for some semblance of decorum for this.
Mayweather goes first, but jumps up on a corner when
he doesn’t like the heat from the crowd. He then ways
in at 159lbs. Shane then asks Show to get on the
scale. Show weighs in at 441.4lbs.
Shane wants them to get together for the photo op,
but Show grabs the mic. Show says Mayweather has
brought along his posse, but Show wants to bring out
his posse. Out comes Viscera, Carlito, Striker and
about every other heel you can imagine from RAW, ECW
and SD! Show has a huge grin on his face. Mayweather
is not impressed. Show says he told Mayweather last
week that no one in the locker room likes him. They
all had to come out to see the $20,000,000 man.
That’s a lot of money. Maybe he should throw some out
to the crowd so they don’t hate him so much. Or maybe
he should give some to the roup behind him so they’re
his friends for a bit longer. Is the money really
worth it? There’s tow scenarios. The first is that
Show takes pity on him and lets him life another a
day. But of he keep disrespecting Show he’ll never
box again. Show asks the ‘little runt’ what he has to
say.
“You suck” chants for Mayweather. Mayweather pulls
out a huge bunch of $100 bills. He says Show’s right,
he is the 20 million dollar man. He throws money at
Shane and Show. He says he respects what he’s done in
the WWE, but not a human being. The fans keep “what”
at him. He says Show may hurt him, but he’d have to
catch him first. Show grabs some money and hands it
out of the ring to some of the guys. Mayweather says
at NWO he broke Show’s nose. At WM24, the biggest and
best ever, he will break Show’s jaw. Mayweather
throws more money at Show.
All of Mayweather’s guys leave the ring, as does
Shane. Shane holds the ropes for Mayweather, but Show
grabs him first. Show raises Mayweather over his head
and tosses him from the ring onto a bunch of
wrestlers.
Mayhem ensues. A few of Mayweather’s boys get
overzealous pushing and shoving as they try to get
Mayweather out of there. Mayweather is holding his
elbow and appears in pain, but who knows. But things
break down a bit and somehow Shane gets pushed down
hard on the ramp. Cody Rhodes and someone else scoop
Shane to his feet and check on him as he hit hard.
He’s obviously not impressed with this. He gets that
‘I’m really pissed’ look on his face. He looks at his
elbow a couple times and then pushes up the ramp. He
gets in a couple of Mayweather’s boy’s faces and tells
them to back off. He then yells at the wrestlers to
back off. I know most of it was a work, but it did
look like things got more out of hand than expected.
Even JR and King didn’t say a word through it all.

- Commercial

Video of Mayweather being tossed from the ring. He
held his elbow as soon as he hit the ground. The toss
was a work, but after that is when things got a bit
out of hand. Mayweather, after getting out of the
fray, ran out back. He was holding his elbow the
whole time.

JR and King go through the matches slated for WM.

Video from earlier of Orton talking about WM. He
says he’s the perfect champion because he has all the
facets of both of the other two combined into himself.
The only difference is he has one thing neither of
them has, the WWE Championship.

Edge’s music and he comes out to the ring with the
Edge Heads.

- Commercial

CM PUNK comes out to face Edge. Punk takes Edge
down. Edge fights back with punches. Punk is slammed
down. A kick to Punk’s back. Punk comes back with
punches but runs into a high knee. Edge shows off for
the fans who give him heat. A forearm to Punk’s face.
Punk knees out of two suplexes and then another knee
to Edge. A high kick to Edge’s face and Punk covers
for two. Punk is on the apron and Edge tries to slam
into him, but Punk moves and kicks Edge through the
ropes. Punk covers for two. Another suplex to Edge
but Edge comes back with a DDT. Edge tries for a
spear, but Punk jumps over it. The Edge Heads get on
the apron and distract Punk long enough for Edge to
spear him. Edge covers for three.

- Winner: Edge

Video of the end of the match. Edge and the Heads
celebrate in the ring.

- Commercial

Regal comes down to the ring. He says at WM it will
be SD! against RAW in a battle for supremacy.
Actually this isn’t a battle because it’s not really a
contest. How can is be when representing RAW is this
man? A video for Umaga. Regal introduces Umaga who
comes down to the ring. Regal says he pities SD!’s
Batista. No one can stop Umaga. At WM...
Batista comes out in jeans and a white tank top.
Regal leaves the ring when Batista enters.
“Batista”chants. Batista takes off his shades and
starts punching Umaga. Umaga manages to drop Batista.
Umaga goes for the Samoan spike but gets s spine
buster. Umaga leaves the ring and pitches a fit.
Refs keep Umaga from re-entering the ring. Regal is
pissed, yelling at Batista from outside. Batista
kicks out below the ropes at Regal a couple times.
The refs manage to back Umaga and real up the ramp.

Video from WM23 - HBK against Cena. HBK got caught
in the STFU and had to tap out.

- Commercial

Vince is getting his own star on the Hollywood Walk
Of Fame.

JR says Mayweather’s elbow was injured during the
toss from the ring after the weigh-in. Video of the
mayhem.

HBK comes out to the ring. Cena comes out to face
him.
They lock up and chain wrestle a bit. Cena powers
HBK into a back bend, but HBK counters. Cena end up
tossing HBK across the ring, but HBK comes back with a
drop toe hold. A front face lock on Cena. Cena tries
to toss him off, but HBK holds on. He gets Cena face
down on the mat. Cena muscles back to his feet. HBK
changes to s side headlock. Cena punches and pushes
out but runs into a body block. They struggle and
Cena almost gets the STFU on HBK, but HBK is right
under the ropes.

- Commercial

Cena has an arm bar on HBK in the center of the ring.
HBK gets out. Cena telegraphs and HBK hits a
swinging neck breaker. Chops to Cena. Cena punches
back. They go back and forth, but Cena gets the upper
hand. A shoulder block to HBK. HBK tosses Cena over
the top and out. HBK rolls out and tosses Cena back
in so he doesn’t get counted out. A chop block to
Cena. HBK slams Cena’s knee to the mat a couple
times. HBK then gets a hold on Cena’s leg to tweak
the knee. Cena gets out but HBK keeps working on that
left knee. Cena counters and covers for two. He gets
HBK up for the FU, but can’t hold HBK up there due to
the knee. HBK rushes Cena but ends up across the top
of the corner. He comes back off and after the knee.
A couple clotheslines from Cena and HBK is down. Cena
hops around and hits a five knuckle shuffle. Cena
gets HBK up for the FU, but HBK wiggles down and out.
They exchange covers. They reverse each other’s moves
until the both land hard on their backs/heads. They
get to their feet and then collide, possibly their
heads when they both try for clotheslines. They’re
both down for five. HBK hits a flying forearm and
nips up. HBK hits an inverted atomic drop. HBK
climbs and hits his flying elbow. HBK tunes up the
band. Cena ducks the sweet chin music and tries for
the STFU but HBK reverses it. HBK locks on his
inverted figure four in the center of the ring. Cena
is able to wiggle and drag HBK to the ropes. HBK has
to break the hold. Cena is laying on the apron and
HBK baseball slides him from the ring. HBK slingshots
from the apron onto Cena. They exchange blows outside
until Orton appears out of nowhere and attacks. Cena
hits the ring post. Back in the ring Orton sets up a
chair. Orton tries to hit an RKO onto the chair, but
Orton lands back first on the chair. Cena then hits
an FU on Orton.

HHH is out back. He says it’s been an interesting
few weeks, but next week he’s in charge. Next week it
will be Cena and Orton in the ring together. They
won’t be facing each other, they’ll be tagging
together. They will be facing the entire RAW roster.
HHH looks very pleased with himself.
In the ring Cena looks very unimpressed. Orton is
rolling on the mat holding his back.
