* According to new advertisements for the September 11th house show in Edmonton, Alberta, the Smackdown! main event will be a triple threat match with Eddie Guerrero, Angle, and JBL.

* This week's edition of WWE Smackdown scored a 3.3 overnight broadcast rating off hours of 3.1 and 3.5, with a 5 share. This score is lower than normal and the decline is similar to that of RAW which saw a big drop this week as well. This definitely isn't good news as the SummerSlam PPV is only 3 days away.

* Earlier today, the Meadowlands e-mailed their mailing list subscribers notifying them that tickets for the October 3rd Smackdown brand
