WWE Touts Success, Jericho Speaks On Returning To Wrestling, SD Rating

WWE issued the following press release, touting the success of their three shows: STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--World Wrestling Entertainment® proved to be a prime time triple threat the week of January 29, with “Monday Night RAW®,” (USA, 9/8C), “Friday Night SmackDown®,” (CW, 8/7C)and “ECW®: Extreme Championship Wrestling™” (Tuesdays, Sci Fi, 10/9C) all achieving No. 1 status on their respective networks.

Former WWE Champion Chris Jericho recently did an interview with G4. In it he talks about returning to wrestling, which he notes that he is not interested in doing right now. Jericho is now wearing short hair and looks to have lost some size since his tenure in WWE. Click here for the video interview.

The 2/16 edition of SmackDown drew a 2.9 broadcast rating on the fast nationals. That number put the CW Network in last place for the night.
