This afternoon was WWE’s WrestleMania 23 press conference from Trump Tower in New York City. Below are hilights from the big media event:

- Several video packages aired. First, they showed various celebrities predicting who will win the "Battle of the Billionares" match. They also showed the "All Grown Up" videos as well as previews for the 3 top matches.

- After more Trump-McMahon hype, a trailer for ‘The Condemned’ was shown

- Jonathan Coachman kicked things off. There were a LOT of people there, both media and fans.

- The Coach says that over 5,000 will see the premiere of The Condemned this weekend before the Hall of Fame ceremony

- John Cena came out to a mixed reaction. Cena said “this [reaction] is what makes WrestleMania great” as a HBK chant breaks out. He cut a short promo and he’d be at his best for Sunday and that “we are on the verge of something great". He made references to WrestleMania III which got a pop. Similar promo to the one he cut this past Monday on RAW. Good stuff.

- Shawm Michaels came out next, also to a mixed reaction. HBK said he couldn’t sing like Cena, or act, but that nobody else in WWE has performed at WrestleMania like he has over the years. He said whatever happens the other 364 days of the year, on WrestleMania day, he was going to steal the show, and would make Cena famous.

- Melina and Ashley came out and talked some trash back and forth

- Batista came out and had a staredown with HBK. Batista kept it very short - saying he'd end Undertaker's streak at WrestleMania.

- Coach introduced the new Miss USA, Rachel Smith). Nexxxxt.

- Vince McMahon was then introduced. He told of how this was WWE’s annual Superbowl or Oscars, and said that WrestleMania was a “variety show” of sorts, with athleticism, soap opera and more. The crowd were doing the “What?” chants, but Vince was trying to stay of character at times, and laughed it off.

- Vince then went off on Trump, calling him greedy. Vince said he’ll embarrass Trump on Sunday, and that America wants to see Trump shaven bald. They had a barber’s chair set up on the podium area, and Vince sat in the chair and said on Sunday it would be Trump in the chair. Vince then introduced Umaga and the two left shortly after.

- Donald Trump came out to a big pop. Trump said he and Vince used to be friends, but no longer. He said Vince treates people and WWE fans like crap, and that he truly doesn’t like him. He said he's better than Vince on every level. Trump did his homework on who to pick as his representative and he knows he picked the right man.

- Lashley came out to a decent reception. Big “ECW” chants started. He said it was an honour to represent Trump on Sunday, then said he guaranteed that Vince would be shaved bald on Sunday.

- Finally, Stone Cold Steve Austin came out to a huge ovation. Austin put over WrestleMania as being bigger than the Superbowl, and really put over the importance of the event over the years.

- Austin asked Trump and McMahon to participate in one final photo opportunity before one of them is shaven bald on Sunday. They went to shake hands but Vince backed off and started to mock Trump. Trump slapped Vince hard across the face which sent Vince flying backwards. Security stepped in but then so did Bobby Lashley, who took Vince down.
