Update On Giant Gonzalez, See The Original Doink Unmasked, Rourke Up For Role

-- Matt Borne is returning to the ring on March 27th in Freehold, NJ for ISPW debuting his new "Reborne Again" character. If you remember, Borne worked as "Borne Again" back in the old ECW. Borne, who was the Original Doink The Clown in WWF, has promised a sick and twisted new approach to the old character at ISPWMANIA. Borne will be wrestling in a Legends Match against "Dirty" Dutch Mantell, who will be making a super rare wrestling appearance in New Jersey. For further information on this event, visit ISPWLive.com.

Borne explains his new approach to his old character in a video interview at the following link, indicating it will be "demonic."

-- The Wrestler star Mickey Rourke is up for the role of Conan's father in the forthcoming Conan the Barbarian remake also considering WWE Superstar Shad Gaspard for the lead villain role of Ukafa.

-- Former WWE performer Giant Gonzalez has pulled out of appearing at May's "Legends of the Ring" convention in Monroe, New Jersey due to ongoing health concerns. Monty Brown and A-Train have been announced as replacements for Gonzalez at the event.

The former wrestling giant presently lives in Argentina and has been suffering from poor health for years. Nowadays, he is confined to a wheelchair and uses a dialysis machine to treat kidney failure. It was expected that he would only appear at the event providing he was healthy enough to travel to the United States.
