WWE Night of Champions Pre-Show Report
By Shaun Best – Rajah.com Reporter

Here’s what went down on YouTube, Facebook and WWE.com just before Night of Champions on PPV!

Booker T reminds Josh Mathews that as a GM he takes the welfare of his staff seriously and the Brogue Kick remains a banned maneuver.

U.S Title – 16 Man Number 1 Contender Over The Top Rope Battle Royal
(Brodus Clay, Primo, Epico, Justin Gabriel, Tensai, Tyson Kidd, Michael McGillicutty, Zack Ryder, Darren Young, Titus O’Neil, Jinder Mahal, JTG, Drew McIntyre, Ted DiBiase, Heath Slater, Santino Marella)
Cameron is back dancing with Naomi by Clay’s side. Slater talks trash and gets dumped by the rest of the field. Tensai gets rid of McGillicutty and backdrops the returning DiBiase out. Primo leaps onto Clay’s back, but gets dropped out. Clay suplexes Mahal out of contention, then press slams Epico on top. Tensai launches Gabriel over the top rope like a lawn dart, then powerbombs Kidd onto those just eliminated. Tensai and Clay face off. Santino comedically tries a tackle, but falls flat on his back. Clay has the advantage over Tensai in the corner until the Prime Time Players and McIntyre gang up to eliminate the Funkasaurus. Santino gets JTG onto the apron. Santino fakes a Cobra attack. JTG puts his hands up to protect his face so Santino stamps on his foot to eliminate him. Ryder dropkicks McIntyre over the top rope. We’re down to the final five. Tensai and Darren Young fall victim to the Cobra. Santino tries to pin them both, but realises his mistake and can’t pick Tensai up off the mat. Santino focuses on Young, only to get tossed out by Titus. The Prime Time Players wisely go after Tensai. Ryder pulls the top rope down to send a charging Titus out. Tensai goes to dump out Young and Ryder. Young goes out, but Ryder hangs on. Tensai charges into a knee to the face. The Rough Ryder is blocked. Tensai goes to powerbomb Ryder out, but Ryder flips Tensai out instead. Ryder wins! Woo, Woo, Woo. You Know It! Winner: ZACK RYDER.

Paul Heyman declines Josh Mathews an interview with CM Punk ahead of his WWE Title match with John Cena.
