- WWE announcer Renee Young made her debut as a backstage interviewer at RAW during a WWE App exclusive video. Young, who has been working WWE's PPV pre-shows as well as the Bottom Line, Experience and Vintage Collection shows, took part in a segment with Matt Striker and Zack Ryder.

- Also on the WWE App, John Cena challenged The Shield to a six-man match at Elimination Chamber, with Cena's partners being Ryback and Sheamus. Seth Rollins responded to the challenge via Twitter:

“Be careful what you wish for Johnny. #believeintheshield #EliminationChamber”
