The Shield & Evolution Battle In The Back

This week's RAW opens up with highlights of the U.S. title battle royal from last week's RAW. Then we see Triple H revealing The Shield vs. The Wyatt Family main event from last week's RAW. After that, clips from that match airs, complete with the run-in and beat down at the end by Evolution.

After the video package, we shoot live into the arena where Michael Cole welcomes us to this week's show and we see The Shield standing in the ring. Dean Ambrose starts things off verbally, talking about how we saw something last week that we won't see again, all three members of The Shield getting the crap kicked out of them last week. Ambrose says they want Evolution.

Seth Rollins is next on the mic. He says they aren't running from Evolution -- they are running to Evolution. If they have half the guts they should, they will accept their challenge for a rematch. He says when they show up here tonight, The Shield is going to run them down. He says they don't take anything away from Evolution, but that's all in the past. They "were" really good, not anymore. He says they can't evolve into what it takes to beat The Shield.

Rollins asks Roman Reigns, "are you alright big man?" He asks him if he's got anything to say. Reigns stares directly into the camera and talks about how they ambushed and beat him up, but he asks, "is that all you got?" He says if it is, he realizes that it's not a big deal. He says The Shield will teach them justice, and he personally will teach you to "believe in ME." He throws the mic down.

We see on the titan tron a limo pulling up. The fans try and break out into a "hounds of justice" chant, but it doesn't really spread out that much. The Shield runs towards the back. Then, we see Evolution standing backstage with Triple H signing something on a clipboard. Out of nowhere, The Shield enters the picture and all three members start taking it to all three members of Evolution. Various officials enter the scene and start breaking things up.

Rob Van Dam vs. Jack Swagger (with Zeb Colter)

After The Shield-Evolution segment, the announce team of Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler and JBL formally welcome us to this week's edition of WWE RAW. After that, Rob Van Dam's music hits and "Mr. Monday Night" makes his way to the ring. As he makes his ring entrance, Cole informs us that RVD will be in action next against "The Real American" Jack Swagger. We head to our first commercial break of the evening.

When we return from commercial, Zeb Colter is in mid-sentence. He's saying a bunch of heel stuff, trying to get the crowd to "boo" he and Swagger. Swagger, by the way, is holding Colter's "Deportation List" on a sign. Colter reveals that his latest addition to the list is Adam Rose. He trashes Rose a bit and then warns him to keep his distance. Finally, he concludes with his "we the people" stuff.

The bell rings, but before anything can happen, some music starts playing. Out comes "The Exotic Express" members, or the "Rosebuds," whatever we're calling them this week. Adam Rose's theme music kicks in and out he comes dancing with his entourage.

Swagger is distracted by Adam Rose and his crew. Out of nowhere, Van Dam blasts Swagger with a big kick. He leaps up to the top-rope in RVD fashion and blasts Swagger with his Five-Star Frogsplash finisher. 1-2-3. Van Dam wins. After the pin and the victory, Adam Rose's theme plays and Van Dam walks up the ramp with Rose and his party animals as Rose's music plays.

Winner: Rob Van Dam

Paige vs. Alicia Fox

The announce team promotes the new WWE Divas Champion -- Paige -- quite a bit, including a video package, before we head to commercial. With that said, we head to another break.

When we return from commercial, Paige makes her way to the ring as the announce team promotes the upcoming WWE European tour and RAW next week in London. Already in the ring is Paige's opponent for tonight, Alicia Fox. Fox gets on the mic and says Paige has alienated the entire locker room already. She says she doesn't fit in and then cheap-shots her.

Fox continues to take advantage of the early lead she obtained via her sneak-attack. Finally, the ref calls for the bell and the match is officially started. Fox continues to punish the rookie Divas Champion. Fox knocks Paige out to the floor and follows her out to deliver some additional punishment.

Back in the ring, Fox continues her dominance as the crowd tries to rally behind the champ. Out of the blue, without hitting any offense at all, Paige hits the Paige-turner on Fox and covers her. 1-2-3. Paige wins. After the match, Fox freaks out a bit, steals JBL's hat and struts up the ramp. Then a Daniel Bryan-Kane video package airs, and we're informed that Daniel Bryan will address the WWE Universe next. We head to commercial.

Winner: Paige

Daniel Bryan Addresses The WWE Universe

After the break, Daniel Bryan's music hits and the WWE World Heavyweight Champion makes his way to the ring. Before he can speak, the fans explode in a passionate "Yes!" chant. Bryan thanks the fans and talks about it being a long road to get to this point.

Bryan recaps some of the obstacles he had to overcome to finally get his WWE World Heavyweight Champion. He says being the champ puts a large target on his back. He says as soon as he became the champ he got the worst beating of his life, and describes some of the assault that he suffered at the hands of Kane. He says he overcame that and beat Kane at Extreme Rules.

Bryan continues to talk about how the attack from Kane resulted in him paying the price. He said his style also results in him having to pay the price. He reveals, what we reported exclusively at SESCOOPS.COM, that he needs to undergo neck surgery this coming Thursday. He says there's a chance this could be the end of his career. He says even though there's a chance, it won't happen. He says, "will I come back?" and responds to himself by leading the fans in a passionate "Yes!" chant. The fans chant along and his music plays again.

John Cena & The Usos vs. The Wyatt Family

A video package airs highlighting the recent history of the John Cena and Wyatt Family feud. After that, Michael Cole informs us that a six-man tag-team match will take place next featuring Cena and The Usos against all three members of The Wyatt Family. On that note, we head to another commercial break.

When we return from commercial, Cena's theme music plays and out comes the leader of the "Ce-Nation" in his typical neon green gear, complete with a neon green "never give up" shirt or towel, which he holds up to the camera before sprinting to the ring. A video package airs showing Cena and the Susan G. Komen race for National Women's Health Week.

After that, the WWE Tag-Team Champions -- The Usos -- do their Samoan-screaming entrance, culminating with their walk to the ring.

Finally, The Wyatt Family cut-in happens. Bray Wyatt, with Luke Harper and Erick Rowan behind him as usual, appears on the titan tron. He has his latern, and before blowing it out -- also as usual -- informs us that, "we're here." The Wyatt Family theme music plays and all three men make their way to the ring. On that note, we head to another commercial break.

When we return from commercial the match gets officially underway. Within a matter of seconds, The Wyatt Family crew is in firm control of the offense in the match. This continues for several minutes, including multiple tags that isolates The Uso member in the ring at the mercy of the three Wyatt's, until finally a tag is made.

Cena takes the hot tag and is hitting any-and-everything that moves. This leads to everyone hitting the ring and a big brawl ensues. When the smoke clears, Cena has Rowan in the STF. Out of the blue, Bray looks to hit Cena with his Sister Abigail finisher, but Uso hits a superkick to break it up. The Usos do their double-dive onto Bray and Harper on the floor. This allows Cena, the legal man, to hit Rowan, the other legal man, with the Attitude Adjustment. 1-2-3. Cena and The Usos win.

After the match, Bray Wyatt gets on the mic and calls for Cena's attention. He talks about wanting to thank him, cutting a typical Wyatt-style promo. From there, we see a graphic informing us that "Evolution is next." We head to another commercial.

Winners: John Cena & The Usos

The Shield & Evolution Battle Continues, Huge Main Event Is Set

When we return from the break, Motorhead plays and all three of the Evolution members make their way to the ring. We see highlights of what went down earlier tonight, with The Shield beating down Evolution backstage.

After the video package, we see a bunch of pissed off Evolution members standing in the ring holding microphones. Randy Orton begins by talking about how he's had enough and that it's time to take the gloves off. He tells Triple H that it's time to put the "hounds of justice" to sleep. Batista just shouts repeatedly that he's had enough.

HHH says maybe they're right. Maybe it's time to take the gloves off. Maybe it's time to put this thing with The Shield to the end. He says they proved at Extreme Rules how good they are. He says he knew that all along, which is why he brought them to WWE and why he coddled them. He says maybe now they've had enough. He says maybe earlier tonight was the last straw.

"The Game" continues by laughing about the fact that The Shield asked for a rematch at the upcoming WWE Payback pay-per-view. He says this time the gloves will be off and they will take The Shield apart one-by-one. HHH describes one-on-one what Evolution is going to do specifically to each member of The Shield. He gets to Roman Reigns and says when they kill off Ambrose and Rollins, they will make an example of "the big dog," referring to Reigns. He tells HHH that Reigns will fail to adapt, and he will ...boom. Before he can finish, The Shield comes out of nowhere and attacks.

All three members of The Shield takes out Evolution one-by-one. When the smoke clears, Triple H, Randy Orton and Batista are on the entrance ramp, backing up and angry as The Shield stands tall in the ring staring them down.

Batista gets on the mic from the ramp and shouts about how he's had enough. He calls out Roman Reigns. He wants him one-on-one tonight. With that said, Evolution's music plays as the announcers put over Batista vs. Roman Reigns as a confirmed match for later tonight. We head to commercial.

Nikki Bella vs. Natalya

When we return from commercial, the cast of Total Divas is on commentary. Nikki Bella and Natalya make their way to the ring. This match is being built off of the Total Divas story line where Bella mocked Natalya's painting gift to she and John Cena. The bell rings and here we go.

Several other Divas are at ringside for this one. The match goes on -- and is pretty much exactly what you would expect for a Divas match -- until Bella ends up scoring a pin on Natalya out of the blue. Bella gets the win. After the match, all of the Divas celebrate with Nikki, holding up scorecards that read "10." Natalya freaks out and rips the papers with "10" on it up. We head to commercial.

Winner: Nikki Bella

Curtis Axel (with Ryback) vs. Sheamus

When we return from commercial, Ryback and Curtis Axel's music plays and they make their way to the ring. Out next is the new WWE United States Champion, Sheamus. The bell rings and it's time for one-on-one action between Axel and Sheamus.

The bell rings and here we go. Axel gets in some offense early, but it's not long before Sheamus takes control of the match. Axel ends up cutting off Sheamus' attack with a big neckbreaker off the top-rope.

Axel tries adding some punishment to "The Celtic Warrior," but out of nowhere, Sheamus sweeps Axel's legs out from underneath him. He locks him up in the Texas Cloverleaf. Axel taps out. After the submission victory, Sheamus is attacked from behind by Ryback. We end up heading to a weirdly-timed commercial break as Ryback is in the middle of beating down the U.S. champ.

Winner: Sheamus

Ryback (with Curtis Axel) vs. Sheamus

When we return from commercial, the battle between Sheamus and Ryback is still going on. We're told that the two are now involved in a one-on-one match.

Sheamus gains the early advantage in the offense, but Ryback cuts him short and starts taking over.

Ryback goes for the "Meathook Clothesline," but Sheamus avoids it and blasts Ryback with "White Noise." He goes for the cover, but Ryback manages to kick out at two.

Ryback starts to take over the offensive flow of the match again. Sheamus gets back into the match after hitting a big powerslam on Ryback for a near fall.

Sheamus starts pounding his chest, calling for his finisher. Axel causes a slight distraction, enough to allow Ryback to catch Sheamus off-guard with his Meathook Clothesline. He calls for the Shellshock, but out of nowhere, Sheamus nails him with the Brogue Kick. 1-2-3. Sheamus wins. After the match, we head to a commercial break.

Winner: Sheamus

In-Ring Segment: Stephanie McMahon, Kane & Daniel Bryan

When we return from commercial, Stephanie McMahon comes out and addresses what Daniel Bryan said earlier this evening. She says that all Bryan proved with what he said earlier, is that -- like she's been saying all along -- he's just not an A+ player. She says because she doesn't know what his surgery will mean, she needs him to come down to the ring so she can tell him something.

Instead of Daniel Bryan's music, Kane's music hits. Kane's pyro explodes and we see Kane dragging Bryan by the arm to the ring. Bryan is completely unconscious and his lifeless body is being dragged to the ring by "The Big Red Machine."

Kane leaves Bryan laying on the ramp. Stephanie runs up to see what's going on as a ton of officials and medics attend to the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Brie Bella comes out to see how he is as well. Bryan is loaded up onto a stretcher as Brie -- and Stephanie -- both look concerned. Bryan is wheeled to the back. We head to commercial.

Backstage: Daniel Bryan, Brie Bella & Stephanie McMahon

When we return from commercial, Daniel Bryan is being stretchered into an ambulance in the back. Stephanie and Brie, along with a bunch of medics, are by his side as he's being put into the ambulance. Stephanie looks concerned and is apologizing repeatedly, saying, "she didn't know" Kane would do that. Meanwhile, Brie is staring a hole through Stephanie and looking angry. When the ambulance doors close, Stephanie and Brie are left standing alone together. Steph tries to apologize to Brie, but Brie pushes Steph and says leave them alone. She gets in the ambulance with her husband. As the ambulance pulls off, Steph is shown via a camera close-up looking pissed that Brie just pushed her.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Fandango

After the backstage segment, we see Dolph Ziggler already in the ring. Fandango's music hits and out he comes dancing with Layla. Clips are shown from Total Divas of Fandango and Summer Rae attempting to make out and hook up.

The bell rings and here we go. The announcers the entire time are arguing back-and-forth, with JBL talking about how Fandango and Layla are a better couple than Fandango and Summer Rae. Michael Cole tries coming to Summer's defense, and literally, this entire match so far, three-or-four minutes deep, has had literally zero commentary. The entire commentary focus has been on the Fandango-Layla-Summer Rae love triangle, for lack of better phrasing.

The match, which was completely ignored, ends when Layla tries distracting Ziggler. It leads to Ziggler turning around into a big kick attempt from Fandango for a near fall. Layla ends up getting her shoe caught in the ring apron, leading to Fandango being distracted by Layla, resulting in Ziggler hitting Fandango with the Zig-Zag. 1-2-3. After the match, Layla comes into the ring to apologize. Fandango gets on the mic and says even though he lost, he's the winner. He talks about how in love he is with Layla. He finishes by saying, "Layla, I love you." The two make out as Fandango's music hits. We head to commercial.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler

In-Ring Segment: "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, Rusev & Lana, Big E.

When we return from commercial, WWE Hall Of Famer "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan's theme music plays. Out he comes with the 2x4 and the American flag. The fans break out into a "U.S.A." chant, followed by a "Hooooo!" chant, led by Duggan in the ring. He briefly mentions Legends House, but is cut off by "The Ravishing Russian."

Lana makes her way to the top of the stage. Lana insults Duggan a bit, but is cut off by the fans with a loud "U.S.A." chant. Lana then goes on to her typical weekly promo, putting over Alexander Rusev and Vladimir Putin. Duggan cuts her off and leads the fans in a big "U.S.A." chant. Lana eventually introduces Rusev. Rusev and Lana make their way to the ring, where Duggan still stands.

They make their way to the ring, where Duggan looks worried, but has his 2x4 ready to swing. Lana stops Rusev from advancing. Lana tells Duggan to beg for mercy. Duggan says no and leads the fans into another "U.S.A." chant. Rusev takes the 2x4 from Duggan and breaks it over his knee. Lana tells Duggan that was his one chance. Rusev goes to advance on Duggan, but out of nowhere, Big E.'s music hits.

Big E. runs down to the ring. As soon as he enters the ring, Rusev dominates Big E., battering him with ease and knocking him out of the ring. Duggan attends to Big E. on the floor. That does it for this segment.

Damien Sandow vs. Cody Rhodes

When we return from commercial, Damien Sandow's music hits and he comes out with a microphone. He addresses his "shoot promo" from the RAW pre-show on the WWE Network. As he enters the ring, before he can continue speaking, Cody Rhodes and Goldust's music hits. His opponent, Cody, with Goldust behind him, makes his way to the ring.

The bell rings and here we go. The two battle back-and-forth, with a lot of mentions on commentary about the former "Rhodes-Scholars" team of Rhodes and Sandow. In the end, after an evenly fought match, Rhodes hits the Disaster Kick on Sandow after a rake-of-the-eyes for the 1-2-3. After the match, we head to another commercial break.

Winner: Cody Rhodes

The Wyatt Family Promo

When we return from commercial, The Wyatt Family cut-in happens. We see Bray Wyatt, along with Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, in the background. Wyatt cuts a typical Bray-style promo, trashing John Cena, ending with him singing, "he's got the whole world in his hands."

Roman Reigns (with Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins) vs. Batista (with Triple H & Randy Orton)

After The Wyatt Family promo, The Shield's music hits, we return live inside the arena, and we see all three members of The Shield -- led by Reigns -- heading to the ring through the crowd. We head to a commercial break.

When we return from commercial, we see Reigns in the ring waiting on his opponent. Evolution's music hits and out comes Batista, followed by Triple H and Randy Orton. "The Animal" enters the ring and the bell sounds, making our main event for tonight official.

Early on, with the help of some outside interference, Batista takes the early lead in the match against the big-boy of The Shield. Eventually things settle down and Reigns gains the upper-hand against "The Animal" inside the ring.

All hell ends up breaking loose, with all six guys going tooth-and-nail on the floor. The referee eventually calls for the bell. Not sure if that was a countout or a disqualification, or what the official call to the end of the match was.

Anyways, back inside the ring, The Shield members are stomping away at the three members of Evolution in the ring. Stephanie McMahon ends up waving out all of the heels from the locker room, who all hit the ring and attack The Shield.

We see an insane amount of people now in the ring, as Evolution recovers. Triple H grabs a chair and brings it into the ring. Reigns ends up breaking free and spearing "The Game." Ambrose and Rollins have chairs now and they are clearing the ring of all of the heels that just came down.

All three members of Evolution back out of the ring and head up the ramp as they look on at The Shield beating down the other heels still in the ring. Reigns hits a Superman Punch on one of the guys. He spears Ryback. The Shield are dominating and destroying any-and-everything in sight.

Reigns calls for the triple-powerbomb. Ambrose and Rollins hoist up Ryback and they -- along with Reigns -- hit the triple powerbomb on him. The Shield's music plays as "the hounds of justice" stand all in the ring. RAW ends on that note.

Winner: No Contest
