- Hideo Itami is going to WrestleMania. He defeated Finn Balor in the finals of a 4-man tournament on Thursday night at the WWE WrestleMania Axxess event from San Jose, California.
Balor will compete in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, which has been moved to the WrestleMania Kickoff pre-show.
- Also at Axxess on Thursday night, WWE COO Triple H unveiled a statue of the late Ultimate Warrior in an in-ring ceremony that his widow and children were in attendance for. Triple H spoke about Warrior's career, his intensity for life and how being with Warrior last year during WrestleMania weekend changed his life.
Dana Warrior also spoke about the incredible support from the WWE Universe over the past year and thanked Triple H for honoring her husband.
