WWE taped the following matches for this week's edition of WWE Main Event prior to the WWE SmackDown television taping on Tuesday night in Portland, Oregon.
- Becky Lynch def. Sasha Banks in Divas action in a dark match taped prior to the start of the WWE Main Event television taping.
- Rusev def. Fandango in the first match taped for Main Event. This match basically amounted to a one-sided squash match, with Rusev picking up the "W" by way of his Accolade submission finisher.
- Jack Swagger def. Adam Rose in singles action in the second of three matches taped for this week's broadcast. This match was given a little bit of time, but the crowd never really got into it.
- Stardust & King Barrett def. Mark Henry & R-Truth in tag-team action as the headline match taped for Main Event. There was more crowd heat for this match compared to the others taped for the show. After this match, the set was switched to prepare for the SmackDown television taping.
