Former WWE manager and veteran pro wrestler Frenchy Martin (Jean Gagne) passed away on Friday morning, according to a report by PWInsider.com.
Gagne died following a lengthy battle with cancer. He was 66 years of age at the time of his passing.
The Montreal Journal reported back in September that Gagne had been moved to hospice care and was only expected to live a couple more weeks. Gagne told the publication the following back in September.
"I led an extraordinary life. I am proud to have succeeded in the world of wrestling. I am no more worthy than another, but I'm not afraid of death. I accept the result."
