As noted, AJ Styles suffered what is believed to be a "minor ankle injury" and as a result, the SmackDown World Champion was kept out of the ring at the live event in Tyler, Texas on Monday night.
According to PWInsider.com, Styles was kept out of the ring by WWE at the live event last night as a "precautionary measure."
Styles suffered the aforementioned minor ankle injury after his match with Dean Ambrose at the TLC PPV this past Sunday night.
