Shawn Michaels appeared on Dallas, TX radio station 105.3 The Fan today to promote his new movie The Resurrection of Gavin Stone, and during the interview he addressed a hot topic in the wrestling world. The Heart Break Kid finally spoke on rumors about a possible "dream match" between him and AJ Styles at the Royal Rumble, which takes place in Michael's hometown of San Antonio.
Michaels said that while no one from WWE has even contacted him about the Royal Rumble yet, he would love hearing the reaction from his hometown crowd if he came out from behind the curtain at the Alamodome. He recalled meeting AJ Styles once in-person, and called him "phenomenal."
The WWE Hall of Famer added that he believes both him and WWE have happily moved on from each other, and said he's enjoying his retirement.
