WWE Rumors: Reaction to Rousey, Women's Elimination Chamber Contestants, more

The following are rumors only

-- The critical response on social media to Ronda Rousey and her debut by some of the women of the WWE is said to mainly be a work and possibly even a company directed move. The feeling is that no one knows how Rousey will pan out as a wrestler so these are subtle seeds being planted to set up future matches with some of the other ladies on the roster, even if it means turning her heel.

-- On the flip side, one source noted that even though WWE may be behind the negative social media response, there are at least a few women who legitimately aren't fans of Rousey.

-- Tonight on Raw, it is expected that WWE will be announcing the five remaining competitors who will compete at the first ever women's Elimination Chamber match. Expected to join Alexa Bliss are Nia Jax, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose with the heavy favorites for the match being either a Jax title win or more likely a Bliss title retention, either of which will build towards a one-on-one match between the two at WrestleMania 34.

-- Bray Wyatt vs. Matt Hardy are expected to continue their storyline, possibly leading to a match between the two at the Wyatt Compound.

-- WWE is indeed considering holding a women's battle royal at WrestleMania along with the men's "Andre the Giant Memorial" because the company always tries to get pretty much everyone wrestling and sharing in on the revenue generated at the biggest PPV of the year.
