As noted, CM Punk made his Octagon return over the weekend, losing via unanimous decision in a three-round fight against Mike "The Truth" Jackson at the UFC 225 pay-per-view at the United Center in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois.

For his efforts, "The Best in the World" received a reported payout of $503,500 from the UFC, according to estimates released by The Sports Daily that include Reebok sponsorship money, as the Illinois State Athletic Commission does not disclose that information.

It should be noted that the figure does not include various bonuses and other non-disclosed forms of payment arranged between the UFC and Punk.

By comparison, Robert Whittaker, the reigning UFC Middleweight Champion who defeated Yoel Romero in the main event of UFC 225, was paid $610,000 according to figures released by The Sports Daily.
