WWE NXT preview, June 20, 2018: Witness the fallout from NXT TakeOver: Chicago II

Following NXT TakeOver: Chicago II, which saw a Street Fight for the ages, landmark title defenses and matches that absolutely blew the NXT Universe away, witness the fallout tonight on WWE Network. Plus, Dakota Kai clashes with Bianca Belair, and War Raiders battle The Mighty.

What will happen next after an amazing NXT TakeOver: Chicago II?

A memorable and chaotic NXT TakeOver: Chicago II is in the books. Champions defended their turf, rising Superstars staked their claim to future glory and Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa engaged in a Street Fight the NXT Universe will never forget. Relive highlights from The Windy City, and don’t miss what happens next after the unbelievable event.

Can Dakota Kai bring Bianca Belair back down to earth?

While reflecting on how close she was to becoming NXT Women’s Champion in an interview last week, Dakota Kai stated that she won’t waste the next opportunity that comes her way. However, an eavesdropping Bianca Belair quickly took exception to Kai’s words and butted in. Belair, who had defeated Aliyah moments prior, felt slighted by the attention being paid to The Captain of Team Kick. The EST of NXT suggested that Kai should now get to “the back of the line” because it is Belair’s time to shine. Dakota refused to be intimidated, however, and boldly challenged the dominant Superstar to a match. Belair gleefully accepted, noting that she liked the idea and adding that Kai will regret it.

Who will prevail in this battle of rising Superstars? Find out tonight on WWE NXT!

Will The War Raiders show The Mighty what “mighty” really looks like?

After The Mighty named The War Raiders as one of the NXT teams they could topple, Hanson & Rowe responded emphatically last week, first by trouncing the overmatched Ricky Martinez & Justin Storm, and then by letting Nick Miller & Shane Thorne know that they would show them what “mighty” really looks like. From there, The War Raiders laid out Storm with a pulverizing pop-up powerslam, making it very clear that a war was now heading Thorne & Miller’s way.

Will The Mighty back up their words against the imposing War Raiders? Or will Hanson & Rowe continue their path of destruction? Find out on the award-winning WWE Network when NXT airs tonight at 8/7 C!
