-- There has been talk of starting random drug testing when TNA moves to two hours. The recreational drug problem is said to bigger in TNA than the steroid problem.

-- The name of the new TNA backstage announcer is Crystal Louthan. She is 26 years old and from the Orlando area. She is a model and has appeared in numerous advertisements and commercials, and was once a boxing ring girl on HBO. She has also worked with the NBA's Orlando Magic. She was crowned "Miss Jeannie 2005" in an "I Dream of Jeannie" look-a-like contest. Regarding the other female backstage announcer, Leticia Cline, she's still with the company, but possibly on the "endangered species" list because TNA is high on Louthan's work thus far. Leticia is currently taking a leave of absence due to some outside projects she's involved with.

-- A TNA house show at the New York State Fair in Syracuse on 9/3 drew 1,300 fans. Angle defeated Christian in the main event.
