RAW Opening: LIVE from Austin, Texas, one day removed from Fully Loaded
which saw the dismantling of Kurt Angle, the destruction of Chris Jericho and
the self-destruction of Triple H, and The Rock retaining the WWF Title after
a controversial Benoit win was overturned...the WWF presents RAW is WAR! The
show begins with Commissioner Mick Foley coming to the ring. Mick begins by
saying he was a bit nervous last night, because he wanted to make sure his
first Commissioner's Pay-Per-View was worth the price. He says he felt the
WWF came up big last night, and delivered everyone's money's worth. He
brings up Rikishi SuperFly's leap from the top of the cage onto Val Venis.
He brings up Kurt Angle learning first hand why the Undertaker is an American
Badass. He says Kurt has demanded a rematch and Foley wants to see Kurt get
his ass kicked again, so they'll fight tonight. He moves to the Last Man
Standing Match. He tips his hat to both men, saying they showed a large
amount of testicular fortitude. He then moves to The Rock and Chris Benoit.
He brings up his involvement. He says he hadn't missed the ring until last
night when he came to ringside. He admits there was some controversy, and at
this, Benoit and Shane McMahon come out. Shane takes the mic and gives it to
Benoit. Benoit says there was no controversy, he was screwed. Shane
restrains Benoit and takes the mic. Shane says he can't blame Benoit,
because Benoit should have the belt. He says there are rules in the WWF (oh
really?) and constants. He says one of those is that the referee's decision
is final. Shane replays Hebner telling the Fink to announce Benoit as the
champ via DQ. Shane asks who Foley is to reverse the ruling. Foley says up
until last night, the ref's decision was always final, but things change. He
says Shane probably was dancing to Vanilla Ice 10 years ago, but that song is
in the garbage. He says Benoit probably smiled 10 years ago, but that won't
ever happen again. He says the only that is the same over these ten years is
Vince's hair. Benoit says he proved he is the greatest technical wrestler in
the WWF, and the champ. He says Foley abused his power last night, and
demands a title shot against the Rock tonight. Foley says Benoit proved a
lot last night, and he will get a title shot, but not tonight. Benoit says
that's not good enough and begins to go after Foley, until Stephanie comes
out to her husband's music. Steph comes to the ring with a mic. She says
that after winning the brutal match last night, Triple H proved that he is
The Game, and that he is that damn good. As far as tonight is concerned, she
says she is here to stand up for Shane and for the rules that have stood in
the WWF. She demands Foley grant Benoit his title match. Foley says he is
going to confess that last year for two and a half seconds while he was
recovering from a head injury, he found her moderately attractive. However,
now he agrees with Chris Jericho's assessment. At this, Steph slaps Foley.
Foley says he could fine or even fire her right now, but instead he will book
a brother-sister tag match with Stephanie and Shane facing opponents of
Foley's choosing. He then says Benoit will not be involved, nor Triple H,
because if any of them do, there will be some firings. Foley leaves while
Steph and Shane argue. In the back, we see the Rock roaming the halls.
Commercial.

Road Dogg vs. Steve Blackman (Hardcore Title): Road Dogg comes out with
X-Pac. Road Dogg does his stuff, rhyming Blackman with Pac-Man and "back,
man." As Blackman comes out, X-Pac goes to the announce table. X-Pac says
Road Dogg thinks he's a better singles wrestler, so it's Dogg's turn tonight.
Road Dogg hits some Shake and Rattle, but Blackman hits him with a chain.
Blackman goes and gets two trash can lids. Blackman hits Dogg in the stomach
and back with one lid, and then nails Dogg in the back of the head with the
other. Blackman bulldogs Road Dogg onto one lid. Blackman goes outside
again and gets the trash can. He sets the can in one corner. Blackman whips
Dogg, but gets reversed and Blackman hits the can. Drop toe hold by Road
Dogg into the can. On the outside, Dogg hits Blackman with a lid, and then
drops him onto the stairs. Dogg gets the trash can and leaps from the apron
and hits Blackman with the can. Dogg gets a broomstick. In the ring, we see
Blackman has two smaller sticks. Dogg swings and misses and Blackman hits
him in the knee. Blackman counters and goes nuts on Road Dogg with the
sticks. Blackman crotch chops X-Pac and then belly-back suplexes Dogg.
X-Pac says as much as he'd like, he won't interfere because of he and Dogg's
bet. Blackman gets a two count. Dogg fights back and DDT's Blackman on a
chair 1-2-kickout. Dogg whips Blackman and goes to hit him with the chair,
but Blackman karate kicks the chair into Dogg's face 1-2-3! X-Pac says it'll
be his time to challenge for the Hardcore Title on SmackDown! In the back,
Triple H arrives and Steph complains about her match. Triple H asks how she
got into this and she explains about what happened and how Triple H can't
interfere. Triple H goes off about not feeling great after the match and he
doesn't need this. He looks down and sees more flowers (last night, Triple H
was setup by Jericho using flowers to Steph). He asks if this is another
setup and Steph tells him to read the card. Triple H goes off, throwing the
flowers across the room. Steph starts crying and says the flowers weren't
from Angle or Jericho, but from her. Commercial.

Shane McMahon & Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley vs. TBA: Shane and Steph come out
together. Steph is still partly crying, but Shane pumps her up. The first
announced opponent is Lita. Lita comes out, making the signal for the belt.
Steph rolls out of the ring. Shane gets on the mic and says Steph will go
nuts on Lita, but he won't let anything happen to her. He says he's proud to
stand up and fight against whoever in this match. At this, the Big Show
returns! Shane rolls out of the ring and runs up the ramp. Show chases.
Steph is watching, with Lita right behind her waiting. As soon as Steph
turns, Lita clotheslines her. Hair toss by Lita, and another. Kick by Lita,
followed by a suplex. As Lita goes up for a moonsault, Trish runs out and
trips Lita, making her fall off the turnbuckle. Trish pulls out a leather
strap and she and Stephanie beat Lita with it. The ref called for the bell
long ago, but Steph and Trish walk off, arm-in-arm. Commercial.

The Godfather vs. Bull Buchanon: If Godfather wins, Steven Richards can't
censor the hoes again. If Bull wins, the Godfather can't bring hoes to the
ring anymore. In the back, Show is angrily searching for Shane, kicking down
doors in the process. Godfather comes out with eight hoes. Bull and Steven
come out together. Steven says that after tonight, a program once filled
with indecency, will be one step closer to being clean. Godfather goes after
Steven, which allows Bull to get in early shots. Godfather throws Bull into
the steps twice before the match starts. Godfather beats Bull in a corner.
Big boot by Bull. Godfather goes to back-body drop Bull over the ropes, but
Bull flips himself back up. Godfather goes to clothesline Bull over, but
Bull flips back. Godfather chokes Bull with his own tie. Suplex by Bull
1-2-shoulder up. Bull beats Godfather in the corner. Bull chokes Godfather
on the ropes. Godfather fights back, but Bull stops him. Clothesline by
Bull 1-2-shoulder up. Bull drops Godfather onto the ropes. The crowd starts
a "Save the Hoes" chant. Godfather starts to fight back, but Bull gets in an
elbow. Powerslam by Bull 1-2-shoulder up. Clothesline by Bull. Bull misses
a splash in the corner, which allows Godfather to fight back. On the
outside, Steven pushes down one ho and then StevieKicks another. Godfather
has Bull set for a Ho Train while the ref is tending to the hurt ho, but
Steven jumps up and puts a chair in front of Bull and Godfather gets knocked
out. Bull goes up top and hits a leg drop for the 1-2-3! As Steven and Bull
leave, Godfather is trying to figure out what happened. Outside, we see
Shane hiding behind a car, when Show see him and chases him over cars back
into the arena. In the hall, Kurt Angle is getting ready for his match.
Commercial.

Kurt Angle vs. The Undertaker: JR announces that Foley has granted Trish vs.
Lita in a Leather Strap match tonight. Kurt comes out first. He says we
must all be wondering why Kurt wants a rematch. Kurt says it is because
Undertaker did not beat Kurt Angle, he beat a man who lived in fear. He says
the fans must know what that's like, fearing not getting a paycheck, fearing
that the kid is theirs, etc. He says Taker beat a man who lived in fear, but
Kurt Angle is here alive. He says there is a saying "Wait until next year."
Angle says he doesn't believe in that, and that's why he is fighting Taker
tonight. Taker enters on his bike. The match starts on the outside, with
Kurt backing away from Taker. Angle hits Taker, but Taker only smiles.
Knock down by Taker. Back in the ring, Angle has an early advantage. Taker
catches a running Angle and chokeslams him. We see Shane running into the
ring, running from Big Show. Shane backs into Taker, who sets Shane up for a
chokeslam. Big Show rolls in and motions that he wants Shane. Taker pushes
Shane to Show. Show has Shane set up, but let's him go and clotheslines
Taker! The three men turn on Undertaker and beat on his legs. They beat him
all over the ring, ending with Big Show giving Taker a ShowStopper. The
three men leave when all the refs and Sgt. Slaughter come to the ring. Taker
pushes all the refs off, making sure he gets up on his own. Taker gets up
and then collapses in the corner. Replay of the beating. Commercial.

Chris Jericho Interview: Replay of Show turning on Taker. Michael Cole asks
Taker how he feels. Taker says payback is going to be a bitch. Show runs in
and slams into Taker. Shane and Angle appear with weapons and the three beat
on Undertaker. Shane hits Taker in the knee with a cinder block. In the
arena, the Y2J Countdown hits 00 and the Ayatollah enters, noticeably hurt.
Jericho's ribs and elbow are wrapped from his devastating match last night.
He says he experienced the most violent match he's ever experienced. He says
it was his greatest match ever. He says Triple H brought out the best in
him, and brought out a side no one had ever seen. He says there is no doubt
that Triple H beat the hell out of him, but there is no doubt he beat the
hell out of Triple H. He talks about how he bloodied Triple H, and how he
may have lost, but he showed he was the hunter. He says after last night, he
is not done with Triple H. He says he may feel terrible, but he wants Triple
H, in any match he wants, right now. We see Triple H in his dressing room.
Triple H gets on the TitanTron, and he tells everyone to listen up. He says
last night, Jericho proved a lot of things, like that he is tougher than he
gets credit for. He proved he has the guts, heart and desire. He proved he
has what it takes, but more than anything, he proved he is nowhere near
Triple H's league. He says he beat Jericho within an inch of his life. He
says he proved his is the Game, and that he is that damn good. He says as
far as tonight goes, he proved walked and talked it, and he doesn't have
anything to prove. He suggests Jericho walk to the back, grab his bags, go
to the hotel, get in a hot bath, lick his wounds, and accept that Triple H is
better than he is. Jericho says that if Triple H won't come out and fight,
he'll have to go back there and mess Triple H up. We continue to see Triple
H on the TitanTron, bad mouthing Jericho. We see Jericho enter the room, and
the two brawl on the floor until lots of refs come and break it up. In the
back, Shane high-fives Benoit and Angle, and he and Show get into a limo.
Replay of Shane hitting Taker with the cinder block. Commercial.

at each other. In the back, Mick is talking to Edge and Christian. Edge and
Christian says they are still the holders of the belt ("DQs rule!"). Foley
says he can't decide whether Edge and Christian should fight the Hardys or
the Dudley, so he chooses both, and, he says, they don't need to be pinned to
lose the Titles ("My decisions rule!") As Edge and Christian leave, Kane
storms in and throws everything around. He tells Foley he wants Shane, Big
Show, and Angle tonight. Foley says he wants to make that match, but Shane
and Show left. He says he'll think of something. Commercial.

Edge & Christian vs. The Hardys vs. The Dudleys (Tag Titles): As Kurt Angle

that happens, she'll sue Foley. Commercial.

Rock Interview: Angle is complaining to Benoit about the match. Benoit
tells Angle everything will be all right as long as he lets him get Rock and
Angle just has to take care of Kane. Angle at first agrees, but then
realizes that is the problem. The Coach gives Rock a mic and Rock says that
after everything Rock can still call himself WWF Champ. He says there was no
controversy. You don't earn the Title by hitting the ref with a chair, or by
complaining; you earn the Title with a Rock Bottom clean in the center of the
ring, if ya smell what the Rock is cooking. In the hall, Lita is racing to
the ring, strap in hand. Commercial.

Trish Stratus vs. Lita (Strap Match): Trish comes out first, strap in hand.
Lita runs down, with her own strap. Trish rolls out, but Lita catches her.

off and continues to strap Trish. The ref checks on Trish, and the ref gets
caught with a strap in the face. Twist of Fate by Lita. Lita goes up top
and hits a moonsault. She waits for the pin, but there is no ref. Steph
runs down with her belt. Just as she is about to hit Lita, Lita gets up and
confronts Steph. Trish gets up and hits Lita in the back. Lita clotheslines
Trish, but gets hit with the belt by Steph. Steph pulls Trish on top and
