He tells Morley that, now that Triple H is World Heavyweight Champ, they are going to work together. That's why tonight is Triple H Appreciation Night. Instead of a Main Event Match, we will have a ceremony to honor the new Champion. Morley looks upset and says that he promised the Main Event spot to Scott Steiner so they could sign him live tonight. Bischoff wonders what they can do. Morley says Steiner won't be happy, but Bischoff says he'll be even more angry. He expects Morley to fix the mess. Fade Out.
In the back, Goldy Claus asks Booker if he's been a good boy, because if so, he can touch his sack. He opens the sack and gives him a present: the World Tag Team Title belts they won last night. He thanks Booker for believing in him. Christian comes up and tells them to not get too comfortable with the Titles, because next week there will be a rematch. And tonight, Christian will beat Goldust, while Jericho will beat Booker. Booker tells him to shut up. Goldy Claus gives him a gift for being a naughty boy: a jar of new-and-improved Ass Cream. Christian yells that he doesn't use Ass Cream, but then pockets the jar and walks off.

Fade Out.Shawn Michaels Interview
-Moans fill the arena as the Showstopper, the Icon, the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels enters the arena. Last week, Ric Flair came out and said Michaels didn't have it anymore, that his best days were behind him. He said it was time that he passed the torch to Triple H, that guys like Flair and Michaels hated to have to go to their private room and look in the mirror to see the truth. The truth is, the Heartbreak Kid is alive and well. Now, obviously, he isn't wearing the World Heavyweight Championship, but last night, HBK stole the show. Two-out-of-three falls, flaming bats, flying off cages, crashing from ladders through tables. He went down, but it was in a blaze of glory. And he still feels pretty darn good tonight. Since they've done two-out-of-three, why not do three-of-five tonight? Ric Flair said "to be the man (WHOO!) you gotta beat the man." While Shawn's in the ring, so let's get it on. The Y2J Countdown hits 0.00 and out comes the Ayatollah, the Savior, the King of the World, the Living Legend, Chris Jericho. Jericho comes to the ring and circles Michaels before taking the mic from his hand. He tells Michaels to shut his mouth and listen up. These assclowns didn't come to see HBK; they came to see Chris Jericho. It's because he's more athletic than Shawn, more charismatic, and better looking than Shawn ever was. He is the true Sexy Boy. But in all seriousness, no one is more excited for HBK's return than Jericho. What an awesome performance he put on last night. The heart and courage was off the charts. But it was also very sad. The HBK of old would have defied the odds, would have silenced the skeptics, would have walked out of the arena with the Heavyweight Title. Instead, Shawn Michaels lost. Shawn is a loser, and it's embarassing. It's embarassing to Jericho, because Shawn is the reason Jericho became a WWE Superstar. He's the reason Jericho wanted to be a Champion. He was Jericho's hero, and now he's been reduced to this. Face it, he's finished. He's not the Show Stopper. The show is over. He's so vulnerable it's pathetic. He could kick Michaels' ass if he wanted to, and he should, but he won't even waste his time. Last night, Shawn proved that HBK really does stand for Has Been Kid. Shawn takes in all this and delivers his rebuttal, in the form of Sweet Chin Music. Fade Out.Goldust vs. Christian
-Goldust starts by smacking Christian away, then drop toeholding him. Goldust drops Christian on the ropes and hits a bulldog 1-2-shoulder up. Christian pokes Goldust in the eyes and applies an arm wrench. Christian applies one of his own and takes Goldust down for a two count. Stomps by Christian to the arm of Goldust. Christian goes second rope, but Goldust catches him and slams him down. Exchange of punches, then Goldust hits some knockdowns and a clothesline. Falling neckbreaker by Goldust 1-2-kickout. Christian misses a front dropkick, so Goldust bridges him 1-2-shoulder up. Christian hits a backbreaker for a two count. Goldust blocks the reverse backbreaker and pushes Christian to the corner. He sets him for Shattered Dreams, but Christian pulls the ref in front. Big boot by Christian, who looks for the Unprettier. Booker blocks and rolls up Christian, who rolls through and uses the ropes 1-2-3!In the back, Triple H is getting ready for his Appreciation Ceremony when Bischoff comes in. Bischoff congratulates him on being "the man" around here. And he shouldn't have to wait til the end to have his ceremony. After all, whenever Triple H is in the ring, it's the Main Event. Trips asks what he would put in the Main Event slot if they do it now. Bischoff reluctantly says they might put Steiner's contract signing there. Trips gets upset and says that Steiner is just a jacked-up piece of trash who couldn't do his job on the best day. Bischoff better think again about giving Steiner his main event spot. If he does, Trips might just pull a Stone Cold Steve Austin and walk out with the belt around his waist. Bischoff tells him that won't be necessary. Fade Out.
Moments ago, Ric Flair told Three Minute Warning that when they get out there, Batista is the leader and they will follow his orders.
We come back live, where Chief Morley tells Terri to tell Steiner to tell him that Chief Morley is looking for him when he arrives. Actually, she should tell him to go to Chief Morley's office. Actually, she should tell Morley when Steiner arrives.

Kane continues ranting, but RVD says Kane is looking forward to working out their problems in the ring. Kane says he doesn't appreciate being mocked. Van Dam says he needs to learn to relax and release his inner-Kane. Kane rolls his eyes, so Coach tries to explain by singing "It's a Small World Afterall." Kane chokes him to the ground, saying that it's a painful world, as Batista will find out. Fade Out.
Batista & Three Minute Warning vs. Rob Van Dam & Kane
-Batista starts by stomping down on RVD and choking him on the ropes. Chops in the corner, but RVD hits a big boot, only to run into a Batista clothesline 1-2-shoulder up. Batista slams RVD into the corner and tags in Jamal. Jamal hits a clothesline 1-2-kickout. Clubs in the back by Jamal, but he misses a front dropkick. Rolling thunder by RVD. Dropkick by RVD, but Jamal smashes him before he can make a tag. Tag to Rosie. Headbutts by Rosie, but he misses a splash in the corner. Springboard sidekick by RVD, but Rosie splashes him before he can make the tag. Tag to Jamal. Jamal goes in, much to the chagrin of Batista and Flair, who called for Batista to tag in. Flair pulls Batista and the two walk up the ramp, making this a straight tag team affair. Meanwhile, Kane finally tags in, and he levels both member of Three Minute Warning. He goes for a chokeslam to Jamal, but Rosie shoulder blocks him off. RVD goes up top and kicks Rosie out of the ring. RVD hits a spin kick that knocks Jamal into a Chokeslam 1-2-3!In the back, we see that Steiner has arrived. Fade Out.
Dudley Boyz vs. Lance Storm & William Regal
-We come back with the Dudleys already taking it to Regal and Storm. BuhBuh clotheslines Regal into the corner and knocks Storm off the apron. BuhBuh goes for a splash, but Storm pulls Regal from his path. Regal hits a neckbreaker to slow BuhBuh down. Tag to Storm. Storm locks in a sleeper on BuhBuh. Tag to Storm, who applies a sleeper. Snapmare by BuhBuh, who crawls for the tag, but Regal hits a diving elbow and a kneedrop to keep him from tagging. D-Von finally tags in, and he knocks Storm off the apron. Diving shoulder to Regal, clothesline to Storm, powerslam to Regal 1-2-broken by Storm. BuhBuh scoop slams Storm, allowing D-Von to hit the Wassup Headbutt. BuhBuh blocks Regal's kick and they hit a mini 3D 1-2-broken by Storm. BuhBuh knocks Storm from the ring, allowing Regal to hit D-Von with the brass knuckles 1-2-3! Fade Out.Jeff Hardy vs. D'Lo Brown
-Jeff Hardy continues his punishment by having to work television shows and not house shows and comes to the ring, followed by D'Lo. Jeff starts by scissoring D'Lo out of the ring, then runs the rail. Back in the ring, D'Lo clubs Jeff down and knees away. Jeff elbows out, but D'Lo hits a reverse suplex 1-2-shoulder up. D'Lo hits his leg drop, but Jeff comes back with a jawbreaker. Jeff goes top rope and hits the Whisper in the Wind. Diving forearm by Jeff, then the double leg pin 1-2-shoulder up. Jeff dropkicks D'Lo from the ring, then jumps off the referee to take out D'Lo outside. Back in the ring, Jeff goes up top and hits the Swanton 1-2-3! But...but...but D'Lo's foot was on the ropes! D'Lo complains, but Jeff runs away.In the back, Flair tells Steiner that tonight is Triple H's night. Nothing will ruin the ceremony. He is the World Champion. In fact, Steiner isn't half the man Triple H is. Steiner slams Flair up against the door and tells him to tell Triple H that Steiner is the new man around here. Fade Out.
In the back, the ref finds D'Lo and appologizes for not seeing his foot on the ropes. D'Lo says the same thing happened last night on Heat. The losses don't come off his record and the dollars don't get put in his pocket. It seems these aren't mistakes, but happen because the ref is a "white boy" while D'Lo is a "black man."
In the back, Stacy and Test try out new body sprays for his Testicles. They walk off, and we see Raven spying on them.
Chris Jericho vs. Booker T
-The Y2J Countdown hits 0.00, and out comes the Ayatollah, the Savior, the King of the World, the Living Legend, Chris Jericho. Jericho starts ranting about HBK, but we cut to commercial. I bet this is Triple H's doing... Fade Out. Jericho starts by clubbing Booker down and chopping away. Clothesline by Booker, then chops. Back elbow by Booker, then a scoop slam 1-2-shoulder up. He promised the Main Event to Steiner and Bischoff promised it to Triple H. Morley says Steiner is a Main Event player, which is why they should hold this off until next week. Besides, Florida doesn't deserve it. He gives Steiner the contract and says that if he wants to sign it tonight he can, but tonight is Triple H's night. Steiner says that this is Triple H's moment. Morley is happy to hear this and runs off, not hearing Steiner add that it will be a moment he won't forget. Fade Out.
Triple H Interview/Scott Steiner Signing
-We come back to find Bischoff and Chief Morley in the red-carpeted ring. Bischoff introduces a man we owe a tremendous amount of respect, a man who has done more for this business than anyone else alive, a man named Triple H. The World Heavyweight Champion comes to the ring in suit-and-tie, accompanied by Ric Flair. Bischoff introduces a video package of some of Triple H's greatest moments, including matches against the Undertaker, the Rock, Stone Cold, Mick Foley, Shawn Michaels, plus lots and lots of Pedigrees. Back live, Triple H says it's hard to be humble when you're The Game, when you're this damn good, when you're the best in the business. He's beaten the best: Shawn Michaels, Hulk Hogan, Kane, Kurt Angle, The Undertaker, Stone Cold, and even The Rock. That's why he's making movies. He even retired Mick Foley. You can line them all up and he will knock them all down. He is the Game, and he is that damn good. Sirens fill the arena, and Scott Steiner walks to the ring, contract in hand. Triple H may have beaten a lot of guys, but he can't beat Steiner. He tells Bischoff that the contract needs to give him a World Title shot, or else he won't sign. Trips can't believe Steiner thinks he deserves a shot just for being Big Poppa Pump. He knows where Steiner came from and how they did business, but here, you earn your Title shots, and Steiner hasn't earned anything. He tells Bischoff to not give Steiner the Title shot. Steiner says he didn't come here to start at the bottom. Triple H thinks he is the greatest of all time, but that is Steiner's position. And now that they're standing face-to-face, he can tell Triple H is scared of the Genetic Freak. Now Triple H sees Steiner up-close and doesn't want to fight him. Triple H says that if Steiner wants it that bad, Bischoff can give Steiner the Title match, but it will be Steiner's funeral. Trips tells Steiner that he was a big fish in a small pond for a long time, but if he signs this contract, he jumps into the ocean face-to-face with the biggest shark of them all. Steiner looks at him in the eye and signs the contract. Bischoff announces Steiner as the newest member of the Raw brand, and as a special bonus, he will get a Title shot at the Royal Rumble. Steiner says he has the biggest arms in the world, and as long as he's around, he's the top man. But Steiner wants the Titleshot tonight, and there's not a damn thing Triple H can do about it. So Triple H can have the first punch, because it will be the only shot he gets. Trips takes his jacket off and the two go nose-to-nose quite literally. Trips backs up and leaves the ring. Steiner says Triple H isn't the man anymore. Steiner is the Big Bad Booty Daddy, and to all the freaks, Big Poppa Pump is your hook-up, and you can holler if you hear him. End Show.
