We start with video of Stone Cold's determination to bring Kane face-to-face with the fans, and its success in the fan response and its failure in the brawl it caused. The Raw music video plays, and we are LIVE from Indianapolis!Chris Jericho's Highlight Reel
-We start right in with Chris Jericho's Highlight Reel. Enough is enough. Tonight's Highlight Reel has importance, because something needs to be done. Over the last few weeks, Raw has fallen into complete chaos: Superstars are being attacked, grown men are too afraid to enter the lockerroom. Something must be done. Even Jericho was scared to come, until he heard from the one man who can restore order to this show. He is tonight's guest, so please welcome the Co-General Manager of Raw: Eric Bischoff. Bischoff comes out in a neckbrace, apparently still feeling the effects of Kane's chokeslam from two weeks ago. Jericho thanks Bischoff for joining him and asks how Bischoff feels. Bischoff is feeling much better. His doctors wanted him to take eight weeks off, but there was no way he could sit back and watch Stone Cold Steve Austin run this show into the ground. Last week, he watched from the hospital, and he has no choice but to order that Kane not be allowed to enter the arena. Kane will be on the show, however, because there will be a one-on-one interview between Kane and Jim Ross, live from headquarters in Connecticut. Kane is out of control, as shown by what he did to Bischoff, Rico and Tommy Dreamer. But there's more that the fans did not see. Bischoff rolls tape from backstage just before Kane came to the ring last week. The Jeritron 5000 plays tape of RVD encountering a pacing Kane. Van Dam tells him that he should go and face the fans, but Kane grabs him and throws him through a wall. Jericho applauds Bischoff's decision to keep Kane from the arena. Without that, nothing would stop Kane from coming down and chokeslamming Bischoff or the cameraman, or even attacking Jericho. But even that couldn't stop him from taking on Shawn Michaels next week in Hollywood. The glass breaks, and the other half of Raw's leadership enters. Stone Cold tosses around parts of Jericho's set, then immediately tells Jericho to stay out of it. Austin demands to know how Bischoff could send Kane to Connecticut without talking to him. Austin was going to take care of the situation in the ring tonight, and probably kick his ass. Bischoff asks if Austin thought of what that would do? It would just make Kane angrier so he would attack more innocent people. RVD, Rico, Tommy Dreamer, Eric Bischoff: all their injuries are on Austin's hands. Kane was happy and successful as a Tag Team Champion until Austin stuck his nose in Kane's business. This is all on Austin's head. Austin says that he was going to whoop a man's ass, but Kane's not here, so Bischoff will have to take his place. Austin then decides that it's not worth it. He starts to leave, when Jericho opens his mouth. He tells Austin to leave the ring and then just keep on walking back to Texas, because nobody wants him there. Let Bischoff take over the show, because it's obvious how out of his league this is. Austin doesn't know what he's doing. He's a failure. Why doesn't he leave before he ruins everyone else's lives like he did to Kane. With that, Austin clocks Jericho and yells at Bischoff. Fade Out.Trish, Kevin Nash & Scott Steiner vs. Victoria, Test & Steven Richards
-Scott Steiner and Steven Richards start off, with Steiner beating Richards into the corner. Chops by Steiner, then a side belly-belly. Elbow drop by Steiner, then some push-ups. Richards tries to tag out, but Test won't let him. Instead, Steiner goes outside and chases Test around the ring and up the ramp. Steiner re-enters ther ing and tags in Trish. Trish and Victoria now, with Trish ducking a clothesline and kicking Victoria down for a two count. Victoria goes for a flapjack, with Test dragging Trish's head down onto the ropes. Tag to Test. Test circles Trish. Trish reaches up and starts slapping Test, so he destroys her with a shoulder block. Test starts mocking Steiner, doing push-ups and jumping jacks. Victoria tags herself in, much to Test's chagrin. Suplex by Victoria for a two count, thena choke on the ropes. Trish hits a falling neckbreaker and both women go down. They crawl to their corners and tag, with Nash and Test coming in. Test, realizing Nash is the legal man, tosses Victoria into Nash and then tags in Richards. Nash slams down both Victoria and Richards. He drops Richards on the turnbuckle then nails him with the Big Boot. Nash drops the straps and hits the Jacknife 1-2-3!In the back, Jericho complains to Bischoff about Austin giving him a Stunner. Bischoff says that it's completely unacceptable for the head of a publically traded company. Jericho gets an idea and heads off. Fade Out.
Lance Storm vs. Maven
-As we return, Lance Storm is in the ring. He reads a statement that if the fans chant "Boring" before, during, or after his matches, he will pursue legal action against the fans. Before he can finish his statement, Maven comes down and interrupts. Storm immediately grabs Maven, slamming him down and pounding away. Wristlock by Storm, reversed by Maven. Back elbow by Maven, but Storm hits a snapmare into a sleeper. Maven comes back with a snapmare of his own and an armdrag. Hiptoss by Maven 1-2-shoulder up. Clothesline in the corner by Storm, then a choke. Kicks to the gut by the infuriated Storm. Snapmare into a neckwrench. Back elbows by Maven to break the hold, followed with a roll up for two. Back elbow by Storm 1-2-kickout. Mounted punches by Storm, then another sleeper. Maven eventually breaks the hold and hits a few heel kicks for a two count. Maven floats over Storm, then back bodydrops him to the floor. Maven goes up top for a flying crossbody, and after a few reversals, Maven scores a two count. Superkick by Storm 1-2-shoulder up. Back elbow by Maven, who goes second rope for a leaping sunset flip, but Storm rolls through into the Half Crab. Maven is able to crawl to the ropes and break the hold. Storm refuses to break, so Maven throws his weight backwards, sitting on Storm 1-2-3!Over in Stamford, JR is preparing for his interview. The technicians ask if he's ready for the interview. JR says that they need to know if Kane is a monster on the outside or the inside, and he's going to ask the questions to find out.
La Resistance/Dudley Boyz Segment
-Back in the arena, the Tag Team Champions, La Resistance, enter the ring. They are here to celebrate for two reasons. First, Eric Bischoff is back on Raw. Last week, Stone Cold kept them off Raw, but tonight, just as Bischoff is back, so is La Resistance. The other reason is because of Bastille Day. For the Americans, this is the day France celebrates its independence. Now we have the priviledge of hearing Dupree and Grenier sing the French national anthem. They begin, and we quickly Fade Out. We come back, and La Resistance are still going. Finally the D-Bombs drop, and Spike comes out waving the American flag, followed by BuhBuh and D-Von. Despite the three of them having a match against Evolution later tonight, they run to the ring. BuhBuh and D-Von brawl with Grenier and Dupree. Grenier gets tossed over the ropes and Dupree gets a 3D. BuhBuh yells that the French anthem sucked. So he leads the arena in The Star Spangled Banner. Fade outEvolution vs. Dudley Boyz (Elimination Match)
-Flair and BuhBuh start off, with BuhBuh hitting a shoulder block. Chops by Flair, then by BuhBuh. Back bodydrop by BuhBuh. Flair attacks Spike and then gives BuhBuh the finger. BuhBuh obliges Flair by tagging in Spike. Spike slaps Flair away. Flair comes back with chops, but Spike beats him back across the ring, then hits a back bodydrop. Dropkick by Spike, but Flair pokes him in the eyes. Tag to Orton. Armdrag by Spike. Orton comes back with a dropkick that sends Spike out of the ring. The Dudleys try to help their brother, allowing Flair to smash Spike into the stairs. Back in the ring, Orton tags in Flair who gets in a few punches, then tags in Triple H who gets in a few punches, then tags in Orton. Orton misses a dropkick, and D-Von tags in. D-Von knocks Flair and Trips off the apron, then takes Orton down 1-2-shoulder up. Spike makes a blind tag as D-Von scoop slams Orton. Spike goes up top and leaps onto Orton. All six men begin to brawl, with BuhBuh beating on Triple H, D-von beating on Flair and Spike taking on Orton. Eventually Spike and Orton are left in the ring. Spike hits a torpedo and goes for the Acid Drop, but Orton blocks and slams Spike into the mat 1-2-3! Spike Dudley has been eliminated! Evolution quickly use their numbers to their advantage, triple teaming the Dudleys. As Orton beats on D-Von in the corner, BuhBuh comes over and lifts Orton up, allowing D-Von to hit the Dudley Device. They whip Trips and Flair into the same corner, then BuhBuh splashes into both of them. Elbow to Flair, then a scoop slam. D-Von goes up top for the Wassup Headbutt, but Triple H attacks BuhBuh from behind. BuhBuh takes Trips down and D-Von hits the Headbutt on Trips. Randy Orton tries to run in for the save, but gets 3Ded for his troubles 1-2-broken by Flair. As the ref yells at Flair, Trips grabs La Resistance's flag and cracks D-Von in the head. He puts Orton on top and calls the ref over 1-2-3! D-Von has been eliminated! It's now BuhBuh versus all of the Evolution. As D-Von walks up the ramp, BuhBuh yells for him to get the tables. Despite being eliminated, D-Von comes back to get said tables. A swarm of refs run down and force D-Von to the back. Fade Out.Evolution vs. Dudley Boyz (Elimination Match Cont'd)
-As we return, the Evolution are using their numbers against BuhBuh. Whenever BuhBuh attempts a comeback, one member is always there to make the save. BuhBuh gets Triple H set on the table and goes up top, but Flair pushes him off the top. Triple H comes back and Pedigrees BuhBuh. He puts Orton on top 1-2-3! The Evolution win, with Randy Orton scoring all three pinfalls. In the back, RVD enters Bischoff's office. Van Dam says he wants to face Kane in the ring. Bischoff says he understands his feelings, so next week, it'll be RVD vs. Kane. Bischoff tells Van Dam that Austin has turned Kane into a monster, and there's no telling what Kane could do to him. Van Dam stops him, saying that Austin didn't start this; RVD did. And next week, he's going to finish it. Fade Out.
In the back, Jericho is getting signatures from wrestlers in the back. Rico and Tommy Dreamer show up and Jericho thanks them for coming. They're injuries are a direct result of Stone Cold Steve Austin's ineptitude as General Manager. It stops tonight. He's getting signatures for a petition that demands the immediate resignation of Stone Cold Steve Austin as Raw Co-General Manager. When he gets the signatures, he will fax it to Linda McMahon and they can return to work safely.
Rodney Mack vs. Rosey
-Teddy Long and Rodney Mack come out. Teddy agrees with Jericho's petition, and believes that a black man should take Stone Cold's place. Teddy can't do it, because he's too busy running Players Incorporated. But what about Snoop Dogg? Or Johnny Cochran? Or Marion Barry? Whoever it is, just get Stone Cold out. With that, Teddy starts a "Hell No Stone Cold" chant that Jericho continues in the back. Fade Out. Mack immediately beats on Rosey, but the Islander rears up and knocks Mack down, then hits a legdrop. Mack pokes Rosey in the eyes, but Rosey clotheslines him down. Splash in the corner by Rosey. He lifts Mack up for a Samoan Drop, and in the process knocks the ref down. Teddy Long leans in and lowblows Rosey, allowing Mack to roll up Rosey 1-2-3! The lights go out and Hurricane's music hits. When the lights come back, Helms is standing on the turnbuckle. He leaps off, knocking Rodney Mack out of the ring. He and Teddy escape up the ramp as Helms and Rosey stare each other down.In the back, Jericho petitions the members of Evolution for their signatures. He says that their signatures are worth more than anyone else's, as they're the top three men in the business. Triple H realizes that they'd be better off without Austin and signs. Fade Out.

Christian steps out of the Scissors Kick and rolls Booker up using the ropes 1-2-3! As Nick Patrick raises Christian's hands as Champion, Chad Patten the original ref comes in saying that Christian used the ropes. They argue over who won the match. Stone Cold comes out with a ref of his own. He tells Patrick and Patten to leave and restarts the match. Booker gets a quick two count off an immediate roll-up. Booker goes right to the Scissors Kick 1-2-3! Booker T wins before Austin even gets up the ramp. After the match, Christian goes ballistic on the referee, causing Stone Cold to come back and start stomping away on Christian then giving him a Stunner! In the back, Bischoff's phone rings, and it's Linda McMahon. Bischoff listens and smiles. Fade Out.
Over in Stamford, JR thanks Kane for joining him. Kane thanks him and gives him a large red box.
Molly Holly vs. Gail Kim (Women's Title Match)
-In the arena, the Women's Championship gets top billing as far as wrestling is concerned, as Gail Kim comes out to defend her Title and her unbeaten streak against Molly Holly. JR opens it and finds a can of gasoline. Kane grabs it, saying that if JR makes fun of him once during the interview, he will set JR on fire. Fade Out.
Kane Interview
-JR begins his interview, saying that he wants to help the fans understand what he has been doing these past few weeks. They roll more video from Stone Cold's berating of Kane and Kane's subsequent destruction of Austin. JR asks what Kane feels when he sees that. Kane says he feels hatred. He was a normal child until a fire turned him into a hideous monster. Now Austin and RVD want him to be himself, to expose that monster to the world. They're supposed to be his friends. Why would they do that to him? Why would they want to put him through that pain? JR brings up the fact that Kane wears the towel to hide the burns and scars, but the few times he's taken off the towel, he hasn't been that badly deformed. Kane says that JR is just like the doctors. The doctors told him that the burns were superficial, but they just wanted to make him show his face so everyone would laugh at him. That's why he had to hurt them. Kane takes off the mask and asks what JR sees. JR says he sees a man who needs help. JR knows how much it can hurt, but you just have to say "Screw it" and not let stupid, insensitive people ruin his life. Stone Cold, RVD, the fans; they're not his enemies. They're his fans. They support him and don't give a damn what he looks like. Kane asks if that's the truth. JR shakes his head. Kane says that his decision is made then. JR speaks for the people, and the people are liars, just like the doctors, just like RVD, just like Stone Cold. As soon as he walks out the door, JR is going to laugh at him just like all the other people. Kane stands up and yells at JR not to make fun of him. The glass breaks, and Stone Cold goes to the ring. He tells Kane to sit down, as does JR. Kane asks them if they want to help him. Do they want to know why he does these things? The only way to know is to experience them. JR needs to feel his pain! With that, Kane picks up JR and knocks him out. He starts pouring gasoline on JR, knocking out anyone that tries to stop him. With Austin and others screaming for him to stop, Kane grabs some matches and throws them on JR. JR begins to burn, although obviously not as much as he should have for all the gasoline tossed. Kane walks out, allowing the technicians to put out the fire and scream for EMTs.In the arena, Bischoff comes out screaming at Austin for what he has done. That wasn't Kane that put the match on JR; it was Austin. This is all Austin's fault. Linda McMahon called him and next week, she is going to fire Austin. Damn Austin to hell for what he has done. End Show.
