Stone Cold is in the ring and has a note in the ring from someone who wanted to meet him in the ring tonight at 9 PM. Test, using a crutch, and Stacy Keibler come out and Test says it was him who wrote the note because he'd like to kick his ass. However, he can't due to his broken foot and since it's Austin's fault, he wants an apology for that and for what he did to his property, Stacy Keibler, last week. Stone Cold gives both Test and Stacy the finger and then offers them a beer saying they can either decline respectfully, ignore him and leave or to stay there and drink beer with him. Stacy starts to respond but Test stops her and says she can only speak when spoken to. Stone Cold then begs for Test to hit him in the face but Test since he won't do it since he's hurt. He tries to leave with Stacy but Stacy pushes Test into Austin, resulting in a Stone Cold Stunner.

On the TitanTron, Eric Bischoff appears. He says he feels bad because this whole physicality thing must be killing Austin, since it prevents him from doing his job. Bischoff proposes that for Survivor Series, they each assemble a team of five and if Austin's team wins, the no-provocation clause will be gone but if Bischoff's team wins, Austin will be gone forever. Bischoff says he has already gotten permission from the board of govenors so all Austin has to do is say yes. Bischoff then presents his first two team members - Chris Jericho and Scott Steiner.

Austin ends up accepting by saying "oh hell yeah" and then he drinks some beer with Stacy to end the segment.

Backstage, we see Shane pacing around, awaiting Kane.

Dudley Boyz vs. La Resistance
Bubba and D-Von end up winning the match after hitting the Doomsday Device on Rob Conway to retain the world tag team titles. After the match, Bubba points to his armband and points to sky, obviously remember Hawk.

Backstage, Chris Jericho tells Eric Bischoff to make sure that Austin is watching tonight when him and Scott Steiner team up.

Backstage, Terri interviews Randy Orton and Ric Flair. They basically talk about Goldberg and Flair says Goldberg better be ready cause he's coming after him.

As they leave, Booker T pops in and says that he's here to make a statement on his way to the Intercontinental title. Orton comes back and says he can make a statement by collecting the $100,000 bounty. Booker T says he's never been a champion and then slaps Orton. He challenges Orton to a match tonight and Orton says yes and backs away slowly.

Booker T vs. Randy Orton
As we return, the Booker T vs. Randy Orton match is already underway, with Orton still in his street clothes. The finish sees Booker T win after Orton intentionally gets counted out.

After the match, Booker T volunteers to be on Stone Cold's team at Survivor Series.

In the arena, Shawn Michaels makes his entrance.

Backstage, Mark Henry beats up Goldberg. Then he and Theodore Long head out to collect the $100,000 bounty.

Chris Jericho & Scott Steiner vs. Rob Van Dam & Lance Storm
Pretty long match with Chris Jericho and Scott Steiner winning after Steiner hits RVD with a steel chair on his back and Jericho hits the Lionsault.

After the match, Steiner and Jericho beat up Lance Storm too.

Backstage, Eric Bischoff arrives at the scene where Goldberg is being attended to. Bischoff suggests that Goldberg is faking it since he doesn't want to face Shawn Michaels. Goldberg basically says it would take a lot more to knock him out of the match.

Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler talk about Hawk's passing due to a suspected heart attack. Ross also speaks of Stu Hart's passing and they air a short but nice video montage highlighting his career.

Backstage, Ric Flair is on the phone with Theodore Long. Flair says he won't pay the money because Henry didn't get the job done but someone tonight will.

Backstage, we see security waiting around just in case Kane shows up.

Backstage, Chris Jericho meets up with Trish Stratus. Trish says she appreciates what Jericho did for her. Chris responds by saying that he really respects her and they both stand around before leaving to attend their respective business.

Backstage, Randy Orton talks to Cade and Jindrak and tries to encourage them to take out Goldberg. Instead they nail Orton and take off with the money.

Backstage, Ric Flair and Randy Orton meet up. Orton says he won't accompany him to the ring cause he doesn't want to get Ric DQ'd and Flair says make sure you show Shawn Michaels the money once more. A nervous Orton says okay and walks away.

Trish & Lita vs. Molly & Victoria
The heels dominated Trish for the early parts of the match until she made the hot tag to Lita. The finish sees Victoria get the pin on Trish after Steven Richards interferes. Trish may have injured herself.

After the match, Molly, Gail and Richards beat up Lita but before they can do too much, Christian comes out for the save. He beats up Richards and helps Lita up to her feet.

Ric Flair vs. Maven
Ric Flair ends up winning the match after hooking the tights and rolling Maven up for the pin. A disappointed Maven then leaves to the back.

Backstage, Flair approaches a worried Randy Orton. Orton tries to explain to him that he doesn't have the money but Flair doesn't hear it at first. Finally, Orton tells him that Cade and Jindrak stole the money and Flair goes nuts. Orton says they are still here and the two go to look for them but are pushed aside by several officers who come running through. They end up surrounding a just arrived Kane a short distance away.

Kane comes to the ring, closely followed by the security guards. Kane grabs the mic and asks Shane not to come out, just listen. Kane says it all started with Linda, who thought she could control him. But she found out otherwise and Kane says it felt good. He says that inflicting pain turns him on. Kane says that at Survivor Series, he won't leave Shane McMahon standing.

Backstage, Triple H arrives and takes out Cade and Jindrak with a 2x4. He grabs the money and heads inside the arena.

Backstage, Flair tells Orton not to worry about losing the money. The door opens and Triple H is standing there and says that no one got the bounty? Flair immediately tells Triple H that Orton lost the money and then Triple H shows Orton the briefcase and tells him to keep it safe. Triple H invites them to sit down and watch Goldberg's match because he guarantees someone will take Goldberg out tonight.

Goldberg vs. Shawn Michaels
Goldberg dominates almost the entire match but inadvertently bumps the ref, allowing Michaels to hit the Sweet Chin Music. Out of nowhere, Batista comes out and attacks Shawn Michaels, throwing him into the audience. He walks into the ring and hits a Spinebuster and then a Powerbomb on Goldberg. Batista then brings a chair in and places Goldberg's ankle through it. He climbs to the middle rope and jumps on it, causing Goldberg to scream in pain.

At this point, Triple H comes out with the other Evolution members and with the briefcase full of money. They laugh and embrace each other as Batista walks up and meets them on the ramp. All four of them shake hands, hug and raise their arms as the show ends.
