Footage from last week shows us the return of Jazz. Utter chaos dominates at the start before it settles into Lita and Molly in the ring. Lita with a headscissors takeover. Tag to Jazz. This is the first time Lita and Jazz have hooked up in a WWE ring. Lita with a suplex and she kips up. Matt Hardy Interview
-Mr. V.1 takes the stick and says people have tried to steal his spotlight all his life. First his brother Jeff, then his girlfriend Lita and now Stone Cold Steve Austin. Since Austin returned to RAW, Matt Hardy hasn't been on the show. Shame on the board of directors for caving to Austin and all these ignorant fans. Hardy came out here to kick ass and he's not leaving here until...KERRRRAAASH!!! Here comes RAW Sheriff Stone Cold Steve Austin on his ATV. Austin hits the corners as Hardy bails to the outside. He returns as Austin takes the stick and gets an obligatory Hell Yeah from the crowd. Austin didn't come back to RAW to be a co-GM, he came back to be the law. If Eric Bischoff uses the show to feed his ego, he's breaking the law. If a man comes out to kick ass, he's not breaking the law, Austin encourages ass kicking. But if a man is out complaining and bitching about not getting any action, he's breaking the law. If Hardy wants to kick someone's ass, Austin is standing right there. Hardy's ready to kick some ass, but not Stone Cold's. Hardy came to RAW for unique matches and new opponents and he's fought Stone Cold before. Fine, says Austin, if there's anyone in the back who's never wrestled Matt Hardy, come on out and accept his challenge. DUM...DUM...DUM-DUM-DUM...it's Goldberg! Goldberg strides to the ring as Sheriff Austin mounts his ATV and heads out. Referee Earl Hebner follows Goldberg to the ring and we're into...

Matt Hardy Version 1.0 Vs. Goldberg
-Hardy attacks at the bell, but Goldberg shakes him off and scores an overhead pump handle slam out of the corner. Hardy comes back with the Side Effect and makes the cover, but Goldberg powers out at one. Goldberg batters Hardy away in the corner. Hardy looks for the Twist of Fate, but Goldberg counters into a military press slam. Matt staggers up and...Spear! Goldberg sets up the Jackhammer, hits it and that's that at 2:26.
-HERE is YOUR Winner: Goldberg

Goldberg takes the mic after the bell and declares his return. He's back with a purpose; he is a participant in the Royal Rumble. After he wins, he's going to regain his World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania.

In the back, General Manager Eric Bischoff confronts Steve Austin about bringing Goldberg back. Austin knows that Bischoff didn't file all the proper paperwork for de-activating Goldberg, so he's not officially de-activated. Fine, says Bischoff, but Bischoff has spoken to the WWE board of directors and from now on only the GM can make matches. Fine, says Austin, he's just there to make sure Bischoff does his job...just don't piss Austin off.

The Randy Orton-funded Mic Foley is a coward ad airs.

Backstage, Randy Orton taunts Long Island native Mick Foley and says he's left a front row ticket for Mick at the will-call window. Orton vows to continue his legacy as the Legend Killer.

Batista beats D-Von down in the corner and chokes him on the mat as referee Chad Patton admonishes. Clothesline in the corner by Batista. 1-2-kickout by D-Von. Ross and Coachman are going at it again on commentary as Batista suplexes D-Von over for a near fall. Meanwhile, D-Von clotheslines Batista down and scores Whazzzup as Flair nails Bubba with a chop. 1-2-Batista kicks out. D-Von looks to press the advantage, but Batista scores his powerbomb and gets the 1-2-3 at 3:15.

In the garage, Randy Orton speaks into the camera to Mick Foley. Since Mick hasn't shown up yet, Randy has decided to send a limo for him.

In the back, Jazz and Mark Henry are talking when Teddy Long rolls up. Long's given that cracker Eric Bischoff know he know he was set up. Bischoff never told Teddy how powerful Steve Austin was and the next thing he knows he's being Stunned in the ring. Bischoff said he can't make up for last week, but this week he's made it right by booking Henry to face Chris Jericho. Buhleedat, dawg!

Elsewhere, Scott Steiner stops Goldberg in the hallway and says if Goldberg thinks he's going to win the Royal Rumble, he's mistaken, because Goldberg knows he can't beat Steiner and Scotty's entering the Rumble. Why wait until the Rumble, Goldberg wants to get it on tonight. No, Steiner wants Goldberg at 100%; they'll do it next week. Next week? Fine, you're next Scotty. Steiner is not intimidated.

At the announce desk, The Coach rises and says his interview with Triple H and Shawn Michaels is next.

Triple H and Shawn Michaels Interview
-Jonathan Coachman, a red carpet, a small table and two chairs are set up in the ring for this one. Coach intros Triple H and The Game comes on down. Hunter gives the glad hand to The Coach. Coachman intros Shawn Michaels and HBK bebop and scats down to the ring as Triple H reclines in one of the chairs. Shawn tosses the other chair and the table out of the ring and takes the stick. Hunter gets up and Shawn tosses his chair as well. Shawn says they're going to do this the way they everything else, up close and personal. Coach starts to ask about Shawn and Hunter's history, but Michaels doesn't want to talk about it. Hunter does though, and he gets in Shawn's face about how he used to be considered HBK's sidekick. Michaels says when he broke his back and wasn't around to carry Hunter, then yeah, Triple H took the ball and ran with it. Bullsh!t says Triple H, he was the one carrying the wagon the whole time. Does Hunter want Shawn to admit that he was jealous of Hunter's success while he was laid up? Ok, he was, but when he came back he proved he was still better then Hunter in a Street Fight. Shawn didn't prove he was better that night, because Hunter was the last man standing that night and he will be again come the Royal Rumble. That's what it's always about with them, Shawn. It's about seeing who's the best. Hunter is going to do something he doesn't normally do; he's going to admit that Shawn is one of the best two or three guys ever in the business. But Hunter is just that much better. Some people think Shawn should be the World Heavyweight Champion, some say Triple H should, at the Royal Rumble they will find out who's better once and for all, even if Hunter only wins by one second. The most important part of winning for Hunter will be the fact that Shawn will know Triple H is better. That's all it's going to be about between them, Hunter. Here one second...Michaels blasts The Coach with Sweet Chin Music...gone the next. See you at the Royal Rumble.

Mark is about to tap when Jazz crawls into the ring while fleeing Trish and takes Hebner's leg out from under him. The referee tries to separate the brawling girls on the mat and Henry does indeed tap. Hearing the tapping, Jericho lets up and thinks he's won but Hebner, fresh from clearing the women from the ring, says he never saw a tap. Teddy Long gets up on the apron and starts yelling only to be nailed by Jericho for his trouble. Henry meanwhile gets up in a rage and drills Jericho with the World's Strongest Slam. The referee tolls the 1-2-3 at 7:52 and Henry takes it.
-HERE is YOUR Winner: Mark Henry

The heels gloat their way up the ramp as Trish looks concerned at ringside.

Ross and Lawler go over the Royal Rumble card so far, which now includes The Dudley Boyz versus Ric Flair & Batista for the world tag titles in a Tables Match.

In the locker room, Christian says Trish Stratus is trying to screw Jericho over because she doesn't care about him. Christian wants to go out on the town tonight to make Jericho forget about Trish. Maybe Christian's right. They go off together. A moment later, Trish arrives at Jericho's door to talk, but there's no one there.

Elsewhere, Evolution plans a special reception for Mick Foley when Sheriff Austin rolls up in his ATV. He says that if they think they're going to help Randy Orton in his match, they'll be breaking the law and Austin will then run them over with his ATV. Triple H doesn't believe it, so Austin does some donuts to show Hunter he means business. Am I the only one who thinks Austin is making a complete fool out of himself with this gimmick?
