RAW Opening: LIVE from Anaheim, California, the WWF presents the special
"Whodunit" episode of RAW is WAR! Yes, folks, Foley has guaranteed (there's
that word again...) that we will find the culprit TONIGHT! RAW starts with
the recent Triple H/Steph problems, along with Kurt's proposal of Steph
valeting for him. The video turns to the Stone Cold/Mick Foley feud, with
Austin's suspension followed by the Stunner on Foley. Pyro flares, welcomes
are issued, and we are on. JR reiterates that Foley promises to name the
person who hit Austin. Speaking of Foley, the Commissioner comes down to
start off the program. Foley takes the mic, to a chorus of boos, and
acknowledges this mixed reactions. He says he enjoys cheap pops, but not at
the expense of his job, so he has no regrets about what he did. He says he
promised last night that he has the answer. He says that, at great expense,
he has brought a Texan and former WWF Champ, just like Austin. He says some
know him as the former Commissioner, some know him as the Heartbreak Kid, but
we all know him as Shawn Michaels. HBK comes down in Texan attire, and he
looks pumped to be here (or there, whatever...). Foley welcomes Michaels to
Anaheim, and says that he will not accuse HBK of running down Austin, but
rather will give him the opportunity to tell his side. Michaels says Foley
went through the trouble of flying the Kid out here, putting him up in a
hotel, and yet can still accuse him of hitting Austin. Michaels says he will
not only tell him what he did that night, but what he did all day. Michaels
says that he has taken a lot of chair shots, so this might be a little foggy.
He says he woke up, rolled over, pinched his wife's butt and kissed her. He
brushed his teeth, ate some breakfast, but did he hop on a flight, sneak into
Joe Louis Arena and hit Austin? He says he thinks he would have remembered
something like that. He says the person Foley is looking for has a motive,
something HBK doesn't have. Foley asks HBK to check out the TitanTron, and
we see video of HBK's last match, losing to Stone Cold. Foley says his best
match was against HBK at Mind Games in 1996. He says no one remembers that,
and no one recognizes HBK as the innovator he is. Foley says that if Austin
had come in and taken his glory, and then flicked him off, he would have run
Austin over. HBK asks if Foley is finished. He says he doesn't want to see
that match on the TitanTron ever again, and second that Foley has a lot of
guts. HBK then says that he will tell everyone the truth. He says that on
that very night, he was watching Survivor Series on his TV wondering who hit
Stone Cold. He says he doesn't like Stone Cold, but he doesn't hate him
either. He says that if he had hit Austin, he would be the #1 guy in the
WWF, but he says it was not him. He says that he does have an idea as to who
it was though. He says one guy in the WWF loves the spotlight more than HBK
ever did, he's young, successful, and has the world around his finger, "If ya
smell-la-la-la, what I'm cookin' Mick." With that, Michaels walks out.
Commercial.

Lita vs. Jackie (Hardcore Women's Title): Replay of HBK insinuating that
Rock hit Austin. Lita's new music hits, and the Women's Champ comes out. JR
says that Austin will not be here tonight. Jackie comes out with a shopping
cart full of hardcore goodies. Lita goes out to Jackie and elbows her. They
go into the ring, and Lita hits a bulldog. Lita goes out to get some
objects, but Jackie beats her to it and hits her with a cookie sheet. Jackie
brings various objects into the ring and breaks a broom over Lita's back.
Jackie sets the trashcan in the turnbuckle, and whips Lita into it
1-2-shoulder up. Jackie gets a hair dryer and nails Lita with it. Jackie
gets the fire extinguisher, but can't get it to work. Lita takes Jackie
down, and goes outside. Lita pulls out a ladder and tosses it in the ring.
She sets the ladder up in the corner, but Jackie hits her from behind.
Jackie DDTs Lita onto the cookie sheet 1-2-kickout. Jackie climbs the
turnbuckle with the ladder, as does Lita. Lita sets Jackie up for a
superplex, but Jackie pushes her off. Jackie goes for a crossbody from the
ladder, but Lita rolls out of the way and sprays Jackie with the fire
extinguisher. Lita nails the blinded Jackie with the cookie sheet 1-2-3!
Lita retains. In the back, Chyna runs to greet...Debra! Chyna asks her
about the honeymoon and Debra says it was wonderful. Chyna shows off her
ring and says she is right behind her. Chyna asks for Eddie, but Debra says
she is looking for Foley. Commercial.

Did Debra Do It?: We come back to find that Debra has found Foley. They
talk about her flight (she lost her luggage). Foley asks how Steve is, she
says he's ticked off. Foley says that not everything that happened because
of the terrible accident was really that terrible. She looks confused.
Foley says that Austin needed someone to comfort him while he was at home.
Debra gets what he is insinuating. She says Steve Austin is her husband and
she loves him. She says watching him being hurt was the worst thing in her
life, and that she's glad Steve stunned him. Foley tells her to not leave
the arena. We cut to Triple H, who is complaining that he is partnered with
Jericho, a man he hates, against X-Pac, one of his best friends. Steph says
he could use her talents at ringside in this match, but Triple H maintains
that he doesn't want her at ringside. He says it was good that she didn't
take Angle's proposition. He walks off, and she looks mad. In the garage, a
limo pulls up, and in it is...Linda McMahon! Commercial.

Raven vs. Steve Blackman: We see Foley shaking hands with Linda, then they
talk, and then Foley walks off. In the arena, Raven comes out for a
non-hardcore match against Steve Blackman. Blackman comes out with his belt.
Reversals of hip locks, but Blackman takes Raven down. Punches in the
corner by Blackman, groin buster, then a shoulder block. Raven tosses
Blackman outside, and Raven then jumps on Blackman from outside. Raven
knocks Blackman on the security barrier, but gets thrown into the same
barrier. Blackman stops the 10 count and then goes right outside. Blackman
twirls Raven into the stairs, but Raven drop toe holds Blackman into said
steps. Back in the ring, Raven takes control and gets a one count. Kick to
the chest, then a roundhouse punch by Raven 1-2-shoulder up. Blackman hooks
in a backslide 1-2-kickout. Raven gets a quick two count, but then whips
Blackman and gets a Karate Kick to the chest 1-2-3! Raven knocks out the
celebrating Blackman. Blackman gets his sticks and works on Raven's leg and
back. Raven escapes as Blackman celebrates. We go to Foley's office, where
he has Linda. He says Linda knows why she's here. He says he is the
Commissioner because he covers all the bases. Linda says she did not run
over Stone Cold. Foley says he has a receipt for a hotel room in Detroit on
the night of Survivor Series. Linda says she always conducts business on PPV
days, and that many people know that. Foley says that it couldn't have been
good watching Austin beat on all her family, but Linda says it wouldn't be in
good business sense to take out the top star. Foley asks who the top star is
now, merchandise-wise, to which Linda responds, "Rock...why?" Foley mumbles.
We see Benoit leave his room. Commercial.

Chris Benoit & X-Pac vs. Triple H & Chris Jericho: Benoit comes out first.
X-Pac comes out and dances to the ring. The Y2J Countdown hits 00 and the
Ayatollah comes ringside. The Game comes out, without Mrs. Game. Triple H
comes up and X-Pac pats him on the back, and then Pac keeps Benoit from
jumping his friend. Jericho and Trips jaw, but the bell sounds and each man
goes to his own enemy. Benoit and Trips go outside, as Jericho takes control
of X-Pac. Now the groups switch and Benoit/Triple H go in the ring, with
Benoit in control. Back elbow by Trips, followed by a suplex. Jericho tags
himself in and gets a flying forearm. Triple H tags himself back in. Benoit
regains control, until Triple H hits a falling neckbreaker. Jericho tags
himself in, and the partners shove each other. Benoit takes advantage and
hits both men. Chops to Jericho by Benoit. Jericho hits a dropkick and hits
his own chops. Bulldog by Jericho 1-2-shoulder up. Jericho misses a missile
dropkick, and X-Pac tags in. Chops by Pac. Shoulder block by Jericho, who
chops Pac down. Jericho knocks Benoit off the apron, but Benoit pulls
Jericho into the turnbuckle. Tag to Benoit. Belly-back suplex by Benoit
1-2-shoulder up. Backbreaker by Benoit 1-2-shoulder up. Tag to X-Pac.
Spinning heel kick to Jericho in the corner. Pac goes for a Bronco Buster,
but Jericho hits a clothesline. Both men tag, and Triple H cleans up on
Benoit. High knee by Trips. Knee to the face by Trips 1-2-shoulder up.
Trips and Jericho hit Benoit, but X-Pac takes Jericho out. Again, the two
groups form. Triple H backs into X-Pac and turns and hits him. Triple H
can't believe it. Belly-back suplex by Benoit 1-2-kickout. Triple H goes up
top, but when Jericho knocked X-Pac out, Trips straddles the turnbuckle.
Benoit covers 1-2-3! Trips yells at Benoit while grabbing his genitals.
Commercial.

Triple H/Steph: In Foley's office, we see the Commissioner interviewing Edge
and Christian when Triple H busts in. Triple H demands Benoit one on one.
Foley gives it to him for No Mercy. Edge and Christian mock Triple H's
moniker "The Game." Christian says what Austin did to Foley reeked of
felonosity. Foley says that he just wants to know where they were at
Survivor Series. Edge and Christian tell about them getting ready for their
three-way tag match. They leave and Foley is pissed off. Triple H makes his
way back to his dressing room where Steph is waiting. She makes sure he is
okay before bailing on him to do business. Triple H scowls. Commercial.

Hardy Boys vs. Lo Down (Tag Titles): The Hardys come out with Lita. Lo Down
make their way down to the ring, ready to take advantage of this opportunity.
The Hardys take advantage of Lo Down, hitting a double suplex on D'Lo. Jeff
and D'Lo start. Hurricanrana by Jeff, but D'Lo takes control. Tag to Mosh,
tag to Matt. Double leg drop by the Hardys. Matt beats on D'Lo, and then
back body drops Mosh over the top. Matt gets flapjacked onto the security
barrier by D'Lo. Mosh takes Matt in the ring 1-2-shoulder up. Tag to D'Lo,
who hits a jumping calf kick 1-2-shoulder up. Spinebuster by D'Lo
1-2-shoulder up. Tag to Mosh, who chokes Matt. D'Lo chokes Matt on the
ropes. Matt hits a sunset flip 1-2-shoulder up. Mosh regains control
1-2-shoulder up. Tag to D'Lo. D'Lo chokes Matt, who starts to regain
composure until D'Lo clotheslines him. Scoop slam by D'Lo 1-2-shoulder up.
Tag to Mosh, who hits a fireman's carry 1-2-broken by Jeff. Mosh misses a
leg drop. Mosh knocks Jeff out, so Matt can't tag. Lita pulls Mosh down and
wishbones him on the turnbuckle post. Matt tags to Jeff and he takes it to
D'Lo. Poetry in Motion on D'Lo. Poetry in Motion on Mosh. Matt knocks D'Lo
to the outside as Jeff climbs the turnbuckle. Two people in full gold
jumpsuits knock Jeff off the turnbuckle. Lo Down hit their double team
finisher on Matt, but Jeff regains himself and hits the Swanton Bomb 1-2-3!
The Hardys escape with the titles. In Foley's office, Mick and Al Snow are
playing checkers. Foley asks why Snow is wearing a blonde wig. Is he
sending a signal? Al says he is wearing it because he is portraying Sweden
tonight. Foley realizes it could have been someone in a wig. Snow: "You
know who has a lot of wigs?" Foley: "Who?" Snow: "I don't know, I was
hoping you'd know." Commercial.

Al Snow vs. Test (European Title): As we return, we find that William Regal
is joining the announce team. Al comes out, wearing memorabilia from the
movie "Grease," as we see he is portraying Greece tonight, not Sweden. Even
Head has a beehive wig on. Test comes down with Trish. Regal: "She's a
buxom wench, now isn't she?" Snow takes Test down multiple times. Hairtoss
by Test, followed by two scoop slams. Snow dropkicks Test's knee, but Trish
trips him down. Test runs at him, but Snow drops the ropes and Test falls
outside. Big boot by Test 1-2-shoulder up. Back elbow by Snow. Gut wrench
powerbomb by Test 1-2-kickout. Regal has been going on about how Snow
disgraces Europe. Snow sets Test up for a superplex and hits it. Snow
eventually covers 1-2-shoulder up. Full Nelson slam by Test 1-2-kickout.
Snow floats out of a pumphandle slam and Snow slams him 1-2-kickout. Snow
grabs Head, but Trish grabs it as well. Test runs at Snow, but he hits Trish
inadvertently. Test turns around and receives a shot from Head 1-2-3! In
the back, Chyna is pissed at Eddie for not being ready for the match. Eddie
shows he is in full attire and asks how he isn't ready? Eddie gets mad that
she doesn't trust him to be ready and storms out. Commercial.

Chyna & Eddie Guerrero vs. Val Venis & Goodfather: At WWF New York, Road
Dogg hosted a dance contest earlier tonight. Eddie and his Mamacita come
down, seemingly made up. Val and Goodfather come down, accompanied by
Steven. Eddie and Val start. Eddie whips Val in the corner and knocks him
down. In the middle of the match, G-TV comes on. They show a shower scene,
and we hear the voice of Eddie and another woman. Eddie gets out, and the
two hos pop their heads out. Eddie tries to explain, but Chyna looks away,
humiliated. Val and Goodfather destroy Eddie, while Chyna sits on the steps,
heartbroken. Val continues to destroy Eddie. Val nails a suplex.
Goodfather tags in and chokes Eddie on the ropes, yelling at Chyna, who
doesn't hear. Tag to Val. Val misses an elbow drop. Eddie crawls to the
corner, but his Mamacita isn't there. Val hits a powerbomb 1-2-3! They
continue beating on Eddie. Steven comes over to Chyna and yells in her face,
so she elbows him. Val and Goodfather pick up Chyna and hold her in the
ring, while Steven yells at her. Billy Gunn runs into the ring and takes
care of RTC. He holds Chyna. Video of Sunday Night HeAT. Commercial.

More Foley; Eddie & Chyna & Billy: Replay of the G-TV segment, then Chyna's
reaction. Foley is on a pay phone, but he hangs up when he sees Crash.
Foley questions Crash about his blonde hair, until he sees Scotty. He asks
Scotty what he did, but Scotty says he, GrandMaster and Rikishi were waiting
for Rock so they could party. Foley asks about Rock, and Scotty says he
isn't saying Rock did it, he's just covering his own tracks. Foley thanks
him. In the garage, Chyna storms out with Eddie running behind. Chyna
throws her ring on the ground and speeds out. Eddie looks around for the
ring, and he finds it next to Billy Gunn's foot. Billy yells at Eddie for
wasting the best thing in his life for two hos. He tells Eddie to take the
ring and sell it, because he'll never get close to Chyna again. Billy turns
around and Eddie picks up and bottle and smashes it on Gunn's head, yelling
something about Chyna being his girl. Commercial.

Kurt Angle & Kane vs. Rock & Rikishi: Angle comes out, followed by his
partner, the Big Red Machine. Kane goes right at Angle, knocking him out of
the ring with a big boot. Rikishi makes his way down, but Kane goes right at
him. Rock's music hits and the WWF Champ, and #1 Suspect, comes down and
goes right at Kane. Big boot by Kane as the match starts. Kane continues
beating on Rock. Clothesline by Rock, tag to Rikishi. Punches by Rikishi.
Clothesline by Kane 1-2-shoulder up. Angle is watching from the security
barrier, not the apron. We see Steph watching on a monitor. Rock begins to
overpower Kane, but Kane hits a powerslam. Kane chokes Rock on the ropes,
then hits a clothesline. Lawler and JR are wondering when Foley will make
good on his promise. Kane pins 1-2-kickout. Back elbow by Kane. Foot choke
by Kane, who uses the ropes for leverage. Suplex by Kane 1-2-shoulder up.
Kane locks in a sleeper. Rock's hand drops once, twice, no, not three
(surprise, surprise...). Kane hits a sidewalk slam 1-2-shoulder up. Steph
is still watching, and Angle is still not on the apron. Spinebuster by Rock
and both men go down. Rikishi makes the tag, but gets punched by Kane.
Clothesline by Rikishi, followed by a leg drop 1-2-kickout. DDT by Kane.
Kane locks in a chokeslam and hits it, but now Angle jumps on the apron.
Kane walks over and chokeslams Angle from the apron, and Kane walks off. I
guess that was a tag, because Angle hits a fireman's carry on Rikishi, but
walks into a Rock Bottom. Rikishi hits a Bonsai Drop 1-2-3! Steph looks on
from the back, disgusted. The cars come to a screeching halt, and Foley
comes down. Foley keeps his eyes on Rock all the way down. Foley says he
has made wild accusations before, but now he promised to find who hit Austin.
Foley says all the evidence points to the Rock, and Foley goes over it all:
Rock's car, Rock's fingerprints, Rock's sunglasses in the car, Rock gaining
most from Austin's departure. Foley says that right here, in the case of who
ran over Stone Cold at Survivor Series, Mick Foley finds the Rock...Not
Guilty! Foley says that if Rock didn't do it, Rikishi did. He says it all
came through when Scotty talked about the three chilling at Survivor Series,
but that was before Rikishi made his debut. Foley says he went over the
evidence and found that the mirrors were made to fit a very large man's view.
Foley says he knows Rikishi did it, but why? Rikishi admits that yes, he
hit Stone Cold. Rock is stunned. Rikishi says he didn't do it for himself,
but for the Rock. Rikishi says he took Rock's keys at the hotel, and when he
got in the car, he saw Austin all alone, and suddenly everything flashed
before his eyes. He says the WWF has always been about the "Great White
Hope," people like Buddy Rogers, Bruno Sammartino, Bob Backlund, Hulk Hogan,
and Steve Austin. He says the WWF has always let the islanders in, but they
were always held back. He tells Rock to listen. People like Rock's
Grandfather, Peter Maivia, could've become Champ. People like Jimmy Snuka,
could've been Champ, but was held back. People like Afa, Samu, the Tonga
Kid, all held back. Rikishi says he hit Stone Cold for Rock. He says he
doesn't expect any favor. He says Rock had absolutely nothing to do with it,
and he takes full responsibility. He says Rock being who he is, is good
enough for his people. Rikishi again says he hit Austin, and says he would
do it again. Rikishi walks off, with Rock left to flip it all over in his
mind. End Show.
