Tonight's opening video starts off with The Rock's return last week on Raw, proclaiming his siding with the WWF, followed by his questioning of who Booker T is on SmackDown, and his acceptance of Shane's Street Fight.

Kane vs. Rob Van Dam
The Raw Video rolls, the pyros explode, but not the Raw pyro... no the stage erupts and the organ plays, as Kane makes his way down the ramp. RVD's music hits, and the Hardcore Champion comes out to defend his title. Heyman gets up on the announce table and does the thumb jab. Meanwhile, Kane grabs a posing RVD and slams him into the stairs. Kane whips him into the security barrier and goes to powerbomb RVD, but Rob escapes, only to be big booted. RVD kicks Kane and lays him out on the barrier. He climbs up onto the apron and hits a spinning leg drop onto Kane on the barrier 1-2-kickout. RVD gets a chair and tosses it into the ring, allowing Kane to get up from his spot. Kane press slams RVD into the ring, and then tosses the ringsteps inside. In the ring, Kane runs at RVD with the steps, but RVD drop toeholds him down. RVD grabs the chair and uses it to dropkick into Kane's face 1-2-shoulder up. Kane catches RVD in midkick and powerslams him down. Kane goes up top and hits the flying clothesline 1-2-shoulder up. RVD floats over a suplex and low blows Kane. He grabs the chair and swings, but Kane catches the chair. DDP comes into the ring as Kane seats RVD up top. DDP nails Kane repeatedly with the chair, falling the big man. DDP puts the chair on Kane's chest and RVD hits the Five Star Frog Splash 1-2-3! As RVD escapes with his Title, Kane sits up and chases DDP away from ringside through the crowd.

We get a replay of Debra's appearance on SmackDown!, trying to prove the greatness of her cookies with the fans, only to have her husband come down and demand to know what she's trying to do, turning into a skirmish between the couple with Debra telling Steve that she's sick and tired of it and putting on the exclamation mark by nailing her husband with the cookie tray and walking off.

However, earlier tonight, Stone Cold and Debra arrived together and seemed to be getting along.

Earlier today, Booker T was at an L.A. movie studio, auditioning for a movie to prove he's bigger than Rock, only for the receptionist to turn out to be a Rock fan and not give him any respect.

Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley Interview
Drowning Pool's "Bodies" hits, and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley comes out down the ramp to the ring. That's right, she says. At SummerSlam, the bodies of the WWF are going to hit the floor. Angle's body will hit the floor when Steve Austin proves again that he is the greatest superstar in sports-entertainment history. The Rock's body is going to hit the floor. That is, if he accepts Booker T's challenge. You see, Rock is afraid of Booker T and the Alliance. He's even afraid to face Shane in the Street Fight tonight. Think about it, Rock has been gone for four long months. Can we not doubt his abilities? Meanwhile, Shane has defeated Kane in a Last Man Standing match, and even went toe-to-toe with Kurt Angle. There is only one word to describe Shane: gladiator. Shane always defies the odds, and always ends up on top. The Y2J Countdown hits 0.00 and the Ayatollah makes his way onto the stage. Don't sell yourself short, Steph. Shane may always end up on top, but she always ends up on the bottom...and the side... and upside-down...and bent over. To her, a SummerSlam is a quickie on a hot August night. When her body hits the floor, it's naked with a paying customer. Steph tells Jericho that he's funny. He amuses her with his catty comments, just like a girl. It's always his mouth getting him in trouble, because whenever he insults her, it's his body hitting the floor. She remembers many occasions when her husband Triple H beat him like the blonde bitch he is. Well, if anyone knows about bitches, it's Steph, says Jericho. ANd with Triple H gone for so long, he knows Steph has formed an Alliance of her own with half of the wrestlers, and the lighting guys...and the sound guys...and the popcorn guy in the 15th row! She's probably been with everyone in the two companies. In fact, she's probably been with every man on Earth. Knowing that, he went out of his way to set her up with someone from another planet: the Planet of the Apes! Two apes come down with flowers and gifts, eyeing Steph. Jericho introduces the men of the Planet of the Apes to the Queen of the Bottom Feeding Trashbag Hos. And they've even come bearing gifts. Jericho looks in the gift. While the Alliance may not have The Rock, he says, she can still have the pie. With that, Jericho pulls a pie from the box and smashes it in Steph's face.

In the back, Lita hugs Debra and tells her how impressed she was when Debra nailed Austin. She comments on how hard it must be to live with Austin. Debra gets upset at this comment and storms off. Fade Out.

In the back, Regal is telling Tajiri about how the Queen Mum is 101 today and probably halfway down a bottle of gin by now. X-Pac comes in and demands competition, since he hasn't had a match since unifying the Titles. Tajiri makes a comment and he and Regal have a laugh. X-Pac demands to know what Tajiri said. Regal tells him that Tajiri said that the reason he hasn't had any matches is because he sucks. Pac tells him that he'll prove who sucks when they fight later tonight.

Stacy Keibler & Torrie Wilson vs. Jacqueline
In the arena, Stacy Keibler makes her way down the ramp, followed by Torrie Wilson. We get video from last weeks Heat when the two WCWers mocked Jackie, only to have Jackie strip them down. That set up tonight's Handicap Match. Jacqui comes down and runs right at the two. Jacqui gets in some early shots, but eventually the two-on-one starts. Torrie hits a clothesline and stomp on Jacqui, but Jacqui fires back. Kick to the face of Torrie, but Stacey hits an enziguri 1-2-shoulder up. Jacqui hits a double clothelsine and scoop slams both women. Stacey escapes outside and gets a chair, as Ivory walks down the ramp. As the ref yells at Stacey and the chair, Ivory comes in and DDTs Jacqui! She puts Torrie on top for the 1-2-3! Ivory comes in and celebrates with her two Alliance mates.

In the back, DDP is in his Sara Shrine. He remarks that he wants his Sara. These pictures and the videos aren't good enough. He wants her. He needs her. Fade Out.

Over at WWFNY, Terri is about to answer how it feels to be dumped for a mop, when Paul interjects and basically rips apart Terri from her personality to her plastic surgery, causing Terri to run away.

In the back, Debra tells Austin about the way Lita thought it was funny when she hit him and then her comment about her actually marrying him. She starts embellishing, saying that Lita called him 'trailer trash' and that her boyfriend Matt Hardy could beat his ass any day of the week.

Earlier today, back at the L.A. studio, Booker T talks with director Rob Schreider about the answers on his application. Rob tells him that this movie is about an 18th century aristocrat who discovers true love. Booker thinks about it, but decides he can play the part. Fade Out.

In the back, Stephanie and the Dudleys come into Regal's office. Steph demands that Jericho pay for what he did. The Dudleys demand Jericho for what he did to Steph. Regal says no. Well then, let Jericho pick a partner for the match. Regal agrees and sends them out the door.

Tajiri vs. X-Pac
In the arena, Tajiri's music hits and the Japanese Buzzsaw makes his way to the ring to try and win the WWF Light Heavyweight Title, because Regal has no sanction over the WCW Cruiserweight Title. Oddly, WCW Ref Charles Robinson is officiating. Reversals of arm wrenches, with Pac getting a snapmare. Armdrag by Pac. Shoulder block by Pac, but Tajiri hard kick. Spinning heel kick by Pac, followed with stomps in the corner. Pac hits the Bronco Buster and then goes up top, only to be powerbombed down. Reverse thrust kick by Tajiri and the handspring back elbow. Tajiri locks in the Tarantula, but Pac knocks him off the apron afterwards. Pac hits a springboard crossbody onto Tajiri outside. Back in the ring, Pac goes up top, only to be 'buckled. Tajiri jumps back off the turnbuckle and Pac flies at him. Tajri sprays the Green Mist at the flying Pac and hits the Kick of Death 1-2-3! Tajiri is the new Light Heavyweight Champ!

In the back, Lita and Matt are talking when Austin storms in. Austin spurts off the lies that Debra told him. Matt says that Lita didn't say those things. Austin, thinking that Matt is calling his wife a liar, calls out Matt for a match later tonight, and makes sure Matt brings Lita down too. Fade Out.

Back at Paramount Pictures studios, Booker T reads his lines to the director, reading even the stage and lighting directions. Booker asks if he's calling him an idiot. The female lead comes in. Booker reads his line "Yeah, I brought yo locket, sucka". The female lead asks if he's related to Mr. T, to which Booker demands she be fired.

Dudley Boyz vs. Chris Jericho & a Mystery Partner
In the arena, the D-Bombs drop and the Dudleys come down. The Y2J Countdown hits 0.00 and the Ayatollah comes down. Jericho waits at the bottom of the apron for his partner...Kurt Angle! Our Olympic Hero storms out and they hit the ring. Jericho tosses BuhBuh out of the ring and works on him, while Angle takes it to D-Von inside. Crossbody by Angle, but D-Von hits the back elbow. Angle trips him and locks in the Angle Lock, but BuhBuh runs in and breaks the hold. Falling neckbreaker by D-Von and a tag to BuhBuh. Chops by BuhBuh. Elbow drops by BuhBuh, then chops in the corner. Tag to D-Von. Scoop slam by D-Von 1-2-kickout. Tag to BuhBuh. Overhead belly-belly by Angle and both men go down. Tag to D-Von and Jericho. Back body drop by Jericho, then a shoulder block and a flying forearm. Jerich owith the springboard dropkick to BuhBuh. Bulldog by Jericho. Suplex by Jericho followed by the Lionsault 1-2-BuhBuh pulls out the ref. Rhyno runs in from nowhere and Gores him! D-Von makes the cover 1-2-shoulder up! D-Von locks Jericho into the Tree of Woe and tags in BuhBuh who stomps away. Tag back to D-Von, who climbs the turnbuckle. Scoop slam by BuhBuh and the Wassup Headbutt. Jericho makes the tag and Angle takes it to D-Von as Jericho works on BuhBuh outside. Multiple suplexes by Angle, who goes up for the Moonsault only to land hard hard hard on D-Von's knees. D-Von goes up top as BuhBuh comes in and scoop slams Angle again. As BuhBuh pulls Angle's legs up, Jericho runs up and knocks D-Von off the top. Angle flips BuhBuh over and locks in the AngleLock for the tap out! Fade Out.

In the back, Lita is talking on the phone to someone when Austin comes up behind her. He tells her that the lies she told Debra are going to get her boyfriend's ass kicked. Lita says this is all a stupid misunderstanding. Austin says that we'll see who looks stupid tonight.

Christian vs. Lance Storm
In the arena, you think you know him, he's Christian. Christian comes down with the King of the Ring trophey to try and get the IC Title. He knows he's moments away from an IC Title match, but he has to get something off his chest. He asks Lance Storm to come out, and Lance obliges. Christian says that he knows they've had their differences, but his words last week inspired him. Offbeat shenanigans might rule, but first and foremost, he's a Canadian. So from one Canadian to another, he asks Lance to take part in a special Five Second Pose. Lance says that it would be an honor. They pose, but Edge runs in and pulls down Storm's pants, revealing a childish pair of tighty-whities. As Nick Patrick forces Edge to leave, Christian starts armdragging Storm around the ring. Storm rams Christian into the corner and chops away. Christian reverse and chops away. Storm kicks him back and rams his shoulder into the ringpost. Jawbreaker by Storm and a dropkick 1-2-shoulder up. Stomps by Storm, followed up with a blatant choke. Christian ducks a cltohesline and hits a crossbody 1-2-kickout 1-2-kickout. Exchange of punches, and Christian hits a back bodydrop. Driving reverse DDT by Christian 1-2-kickout. Big boot by Christian. Storm suplexes Christian and brige pins him, grabbing the ropes to help with the 1-2-3!

In the garage, Taker and Sara ride in, with Kane waiting for him. Kane tells him that DDP nailed him with a chair and cost him the match. Kane says that he knows where DDP's shrine to Sara is. Taker tells Kane to take Sara to the aPa to watch her, and for him to meet him at the shrine for a beatdown. Fade Out.

In the back, Kurt comes into Rock's dressing room. Angle says that he knows the Rock doesn't like him, and he doesn't like the Rock much either. Rock stops him and asks why he doesn't like the Rock. Angle gives one example of when Rock cut a promo on him. Rock stops him again and says that they have a clean slate this time. Now why is Angle in his room? Angle talks about his experience with Shane in Street Fights. He has a secret weapon. He whips out a glass of milk. Rock looks at it asks if Angle just came in without knocking and offered the Rock a glass of milk in front of his millions of fans. He's going to take Angle's milk, turn the glass sideways, and drink that milk down. Rock proceeds to gulp it and tells him that it's the best milk he's had.

In the back, Debra is shining Austin's belt when Austin comes back. Austin tells her that Lita said that Debra was too dumb to figure out what she said. Austin misquotes Lita as saying "She's country dumb like she fell off the back of the turnip trunk". He continues to misquote Lita about commenting on Debra's hair and perfume. Austin leaves and Debra storms behind.

In the back, Taker storms into the Sara Shrine, but DDP isn't around. Taker looks around at all the pictures before finding a wedding photo, with DDP's head taped on it. Taker flips out and starts tearing the place apart. We see a sillohuette and Taker starts beating on DDP, but we find it's just Kanyon in a bad wig. DDP appears from nowhere and starts beating the hell out of Taker with some sort of club. Eventually Kane bursts in and forces DDP and Kanyon out, but the damage has been done. Fade Out.

Steve Austin vs. Matt Hardy
Matt, who is still the European Champ, comes down with his gal Lita for this non-title match. The new glass breaks and Stone Cold, who is still the WWF Champ, comes down with his gal Debra. Matt attacks right away, but Ausitn escapes outside. Matt taunts Austin, causing Tim White to back him up, allowing Austin to come in unharmed. Austin locks in a side headlock and fireman's carries Matt. Austin rolls Matt up, but Matt punches him down. Look at this, it's Austin fighting technically and Matt brawling. Austin, finding that roll-ups aren't working, repeatedly smashes Matt into the turnbuckle and then thrusts his shoulder into him. Boot scrape by Austin and a choke on the ropes. Matt fights his way up but gets clotheslined down 1-2-kickout. Stomps by Austin and a boot choke. Tim White keeps trying to make Austin break the choke, but Austin keeps pushing him away. Lita chases Debra into the ring, only for Austin to stop Lita and give her the Stunner! Matt spins Austin around and tries to give him the Twist of Fate, but Austin shoves him away and hits the Stunner on him 1-2-3! Afterwards, Austin grabs Tim White and rams him into the security barrier before storming up the ramp with his wife and title belt. Fade Out

Earlier today, and still at the studios, Booker T is still reading his part, and still reads the stage directions. The female lead gets upset and the director tells Booker that this may not be the right project for him. Booker says that this movie sucks. He has more talent than the Rock in the movies and in the ring. That's why he's going to take the Rock out at SummerSlam. The female lead asks if his taking The Rock to SummerSlam means that he's Rock's chouffer, but then thinks he's the Rock's butler. Booker punches the director and storms out.

Shane McMahon vs. The Rock
Here Comes The Money! Now more than ever, Shane'O Mac is the Ruler of Street Fights. Shane comes down with his kendo stick and a microphone. He says that he likes Steph's analogy of him being a gladiator. He's been in Last Man Standing matches and Street Fights. What has the Rock been doing? Rock's voice is heard and we see Rock on the TitanTron. Shane may have been born with a silver spoon in his mouth, but he's going to leave tonight with The Rock's black boot up his ass. Fade Out. IF YA SMELL... The Rock makes his way down and into the ring for his first match in four months. Shane has the kendo stick pointed right at him, and gives him the patented Rock "just bring it" hand motions. Shane spins the kendo stick around, but it slips out. Rock uses the slip to his advantage and attacks. Multiple punches by Rock and a clothelsine to the outside. Stomps by Rock on the outside. Rock pulls everything from the announce table, allowing Shane to fight up and slam Rock into the stairs. Rock whips Shane into and over the security barrier. They fight out into the crowd and are lost in the sea of people. We find them battling up the stairs, with Shane still getting in punches. They get up near an exit. Shane escapes across a few rows, but Rock storms out the exit. Shane turns around to realize that the Rock is no longer there, when Rock appears behind him and nails him, sending him tumbling down the stairs. As they get to the bottom, Shane clotheslines Rock over the barrier. Shane gets up and runs the rail, clotheslining Rock down, but going down himself. As Rock crawls up, Shane gets some hardcore weapons from under the ring. He nails Rock with a trashcan and they go further up the ramp. Shane nails Rock again, and they go up onto the stage, where Shane nails him yet again. Shane gets a new trash can and runs at Rock, but Rock pulls himself up and kicks the can back into Shane's face. Rock repeatedly nails Shane with the can. Rock gets a new can and puts it over Shane's upper-body, only to disappear. He comes back with a chair and nails the prone Shane. Shane's body drops and he rolls down the ramp back to ringside. They get back in the ring, and Rock gets a couple lids, smacking them together with Shane's face. He goes to do it again, but Shane scores a low blow. Shane, unable to stand quite yet, flails on the ground, nailing Rock with the lid. Shane makes his way up and grabs the kendo stick, nailing Rock over and over across the back. Shane dances around the ring, when Rock pops up and nails Shane into the corner. He hits him with a lid, sending Shane over the top. Rock pulls him back in and hits the spinebuster. He sets up the People's Elbow, when Booker T runs down, only to get DDTed. Shane begins to stagger up only to be Rock Bottomed 1-2-3! Rock turns to Booker T, but Shane grabs his leg. Rock stomps away on Shane, allowing Booker T to turn the tides and lay the smackdown on Rock. They battle to the outside, where Booker nails Rock with the WCW Title belt. Booker yells for Shane to get up, and continues stomping away. Booker lays Rock across the announce table, and tells Shane to go up top. Shane goes up and hits the huge flying elbow to Rock on the table, in a scene reminiscent of one of Shane's first great matches against Test. The table collapses and the two men fall to the ground, with Booker continuing to stomp on Rock. End Show
