RAW Opening: LIVE from St. Louis, the World Wrestling Federation presents
RAW is WAR! We start with a replay of Triple H trying to get the Undertaker
to turn on the Rock, and then Rock fighting with Kane, and then Rock hitting
Taker with a chair. The famous RAW pyro fires, and The Rock comes down to
the ring, to a huge pop. Rock gets on the mic, and lets us know that he has
finally come back to St. Louis. He says he has heard that come tonight, The
Faction, Undertaker, and Kane will all get back at the Rock. Rock has one
thing to say about that, it's Monday night, so Taker can bring his American
Badass, Kane can bring his seven foot body, and Triple H can bring his three
foot nose...they can all bring it. At that, the Big Red Machine lights the
stage up and walks right into the ring. They stare each other down. Kane
has a mic and says Rock should consider it brought. He starts to go at the
Rock, but "He's here..." and the Badass rides down to the ring on his
motorcycle. He circles the ring with Rock and Kane following him from the
ring. Taker gets off and into the ring and motions like he wants both of
them, but then the RAW music hits and out comes...Linda McMahon! Linda comes
right into the ring, with mic in hand. She tells the three of them to hold
it. She asks what they're thinking. She says they look like they are going
to tear each other up, while the McMahon-Helmsley faction is laughing at
them. She asks if they are going to be sucked into the divide-and-conquer
strategy. She says they must join forces, at least for the next two weeks up
to King of the Ring. "No Chances" hits, and Linda's worse half, Vince, and
her son, daughter, and son-in-law all come out. They stand on the stage,
Vince with a mic. He asks who Linda thinks she is. He asks if she wants to
be Mother Teresa, helping everyone, or perhaps Joan of Arc, or perhaps an
attractive Janet Reno. He says he doesn't know who Linda thinks she is, but
he knows that she truly is a meddlesome, castrating shrew of a wife. He asks
about her telling the faces to join forces. Linda says that before they
interrupted her, she was about to say that Rock, Undertaker, and Kane were
going to join forces as one half of a six-man tag at King of the Ring,
against Triple H, Shane McMahon, and Vince McMahon. The crowd erupts in joy,
while Shane and Triple H erupt in anger. Vince yells, "We accept!" He says
that he will not be embarrassed by her by any match she makes, at King of the
Ring, or even here tonight. Linda says that if that's the case, then Triple
H will defend the Title against an opponent of her choosing. Vince says all
right, which Triple H can't believe Vince just said. Vince says he'll do it,
even though it's not fair. Linda says that if Vince doesn't think that's
fair, then he won't like another match, a Women's Title match. That's right,
says Linda, there will be a Women's Title match against Lita, and if any
Faction member interferes, Lita automatically gets the Title. Triple H and
Steph are going crazy, but Vince says "fine," that way she can go do her
business elsewhere. As they walk off, Linda calls them back and says that
she doesn't play as CEO, she is the CEO, and therefore, Shane will fight
later tonight, as well as Vince in a tag match against the Dudley Boys.
However, she says, it's a Table Match. Linda lays down the law, and the
Vince and Co. have no choice but to walk off. Commercial.X-Pac vs. Dean Malenko (King of the Ring Qualifier): When we come back,
Triple H tries to kiss up to Linda, who is getting into a limo. Linda says
he may be able to sweet talk Steph, but not her. She tells Steph she's on
next. In the ring area, X-Pac comes down with Tori and Road Dogg. Malenko
comes down, with two hoes, a perk from teaming with the Godfather, I guess.
X-Pac gets the early start and beats Malenko down. Nice reversals. Malenko
gets X-Pac in the Cloverleaf, but X-Pac gets to the rope. Spinning heel kick
by X-Pac. Pac kicks Malenko in the corner. Pac goes for the Bronco Buster,
but Malenko slides out of the way. Side dropkick by Malenko 1-2-shoulder up.
Powerslam by Malenko 1-2-Road Dogg hits Malenko. Tori gets on the apron.
Malenko goes to hit Tori, but she ducks and Road Dogg punches him into an
X-Factor 1-2-3! In the back, we see Lita warming up. Then we see Steph
whining about her match to Triple H, who is obviously thinking more about his
own match. Commercial.Stephanie McMahon vs. Lita (Women's Title): Triple H's music hits, and Steph
comes down alone, except for an angry scowl she has brought with her. She
parades the belt around, and then gets a mic. She says that this is not
fair. For 74 days, Steph has been Champ, carrying it with dignity, honor,
and pride. Despite those chants, she knows she has the fan's support, and
can feel them wanting her to beat Lita. Then, Lita runs down, with her own
music. Steph tries to leave the ring, but Lita pulls her back by her hair.
Dropkick by Lita. Steph crawls to the apron, and Lita pushes her off. Steph
is rolling around, holding her knee. The fans "boo." Then, Kurt Angle runs
down, while the ref is attending to Steph. He Olympic Slams Lita, and then
hides. Steph gets up, and tells the ref she'll go on. She gets in and then
pins Lita 1-2-3! Steph has retained the title. The two jump up and down and
then hug. Triple H is watching from his room and stops clapping and stares
coldly at Angle. Shane pulls Triple H out and says they have business. On
the ramp, Angle kisses Steph's cheek. Then, we see the Faction outside a
room. Triple H has a bat, and they are saying "This has never been done."
They count to three, and rush in the door. Triple H runs and goes to hit
Kane, but gets punched. The Faction runs in and eventually beats down Kane.
They hold him down and Vince says "Get it off" and they start pulling at
Kane's mask. They get the mask off (!!!), although Kane's back is to the
camera. Then Patterson takes a picture of Kane's face and they run out.
Commercial.Too Cool vs. T&A (Tag Title): Replay of the Faction beating on Kane and
then, the taking off of Kane's mask and photography of Kane's face. In the
room, Vince is getting dressed, and he asks if Patterson and Brisco are gone
yet, and Shane says they already went to get the pictures developed. Vince
says that if Kane doesn't join the Faction, the world will see Kane's face,
and therefore, tonight it will be Kane vs. The Rock, No Holds Barred. In the
arena, Too Cool dance down the ring. Replay of Rikishi going nuts on Val
Venis from SmackDown!. Then, T&A and Trish come down. Albert and
GrandMaster start. Albert gets forearmed by GrandMaster. Test gets a shot
by GrandMaster, but Albert hits GM with a Press Slam. Albert whips GM hard
into the corner, but GM kicks Albert when he runs to him. Enziguri by GM and
a tag to Scotty who cleans house. GM takes Albert outside. Test with a
powerbomb, but GM hits the Hip Hop Drop on Test. GM slides into Albert on
the outside. Trish gets on the apron, and Scotty goes to stop her, but she
hits him with her boot. Test slams the stunned Scotty 1-2-shoulder up!
Facebuster by Scotty W-O-Val Venis runs in and dismantles Too Cool with the
ring bell. Rikishi then comes in and Superkicks Val. Butt slam in the
corner on Test and Albert. Rikishi goes to pull Val up, but Trish hits him
from behind. Rikishi turns around and puts Trish in the StinkFace position,
but Test hits him and Albert takes Trish. T&A walk off, as Rikishi gathers
his boys up. In the back, the Dudleys are walking through the hall with a
table. Then, we see Vince yelling about tables, while Shane is trying to get
him to focus on the match. Commercial.Vince & Shane McMahon vs. The Dudley Boys (Table Match): Vince and Shane
come out first. Shane is jumping around, but Vince is walking mad. The
D-Bomb drops and the Dudleys come down with a table. They set the table up
outside, but the McMahons jump down on them. D-Von is beating on Vince,
while BuhBuh is teaching Shane a lesson in brawling. They both pound each's
McMahon's head on the announce table. They throw Vince into the steps.
BuhBuh puts Shane in the ring, while D-Von still hits Vince. BuhBuh knocks
Shane down with every punch and then chops him in the corner. BuhBuh whips
Shane in the corner and splashes him. D'Von slams Vince on the outside.
BuhBuh Superplexes Shane, and then D'Von hits a leg drop from the top on
Shane. Vince gets in, but is slammed by BuhBuh. D'Von climbs the turnbuckle
and headbutts into Vince's grapefruits. Shane staggers up, but gets 3-D'd!
BuhBuh yells that he's gonna get wood, and each Dudley gets a table and
brings it in the ring. One table is set up against a turnbuckle, and one is
set up near another corner. Shane is punched and layed on the table, and
Vince is about to get powerbombed from the turnbuckle on top of Shane, but
X-Pac and Road Dogg run down and knock Vince and D'Von off the turnbuckle.
They beat on D'Von and put him through a table. Then they beat on BuhBuh and
lay him on the turnbuckle and Tori climbs the turnbuckle. She goes to splash
BuhBuh through the table, but when she hits, the table doesn't break! Tori
looks hurt, and BuhBuh starts punching, but is soon knocked back down and put
back on the table. Tori once again climbs the turnbuckle and finally slams
BuhBuh through the table. Shane helps the injured Tori up and the Faction
celebrate up the ring. Commercial.Gerald Brisco vs. Crash Holly (Hardcore Title): Replay of the table match.
In the back, Triple H asks Patterson and Brisco if they pictures are ready,
and they said it'll be ready soon. Bull asks what is up with his match with
the Taker he heard about. Triple H says that when Taker heard about it, he
laughed and said Bull wasn't in Taker's league. Bull gets mad, and Triple H
asks if Bull has a bike, and Bull says no, and Triple H points out Taker's
bike. Bull gets on it and revs it up. Taker runs out and Bull speeds off on
Taker's bike. Undertaker pulls someone out of a limo and chases after them.
Triple H tells Brisco and Patterson that he has to go get ready for his
match. Brisco and Patterson remind each other that they need to get the
pictures, but Crash hits Brisco from behind. Crash beats on Patterson, while
Brisco runs off. Brisco runs to the ring, followed by Crash. Crash beats on
Brisco and throws stuff in the ring. Brisco gets a rake and breaks it on
Crash . Crash fights back and throws Brisco's head into the announce table.
Brisco low blows Crash and throws him into the steps. Brisco gets in the
ring and dances around and puts a chair in the corner. Brisco hits Crash
with a garbage can lid. Brisco goes to whip Crash into the chair/turnbuckle,
but it gets reversed and Brisco hits the chair. Crash runs at him with the
trashcan lid, but Brisco kicks him back. Patterson runs down and picks up
the garbage can. Patterson goes to hit Crash, but Crash ducks and the can
hits Brisco. Crash pins 1-2-3! Crash takes the belt and runs out. Brisco
pushes Patterson, but they make up. When Brisco turns around, Patterson
crotch-chops Brisco. In the back, Crash is dancing around and he goes to his
car. He looks at a paper he has and says he'll never lose another match
thanks "to him". He drives off. In the back, Triple H is complaining to
Steph that he usually studies guys, and this isn't fair. Commercial.Triple H vs. ??? (WWF Title): Triple H and Steph come down to the ring.
Triple H's music ends, and everyone waits. A moment of silence and then the
Y2J Countdown hits 00, and Chris Jericho comes out for his WWF Title
"rematch." They start out fast. Back elbow by Jericho. Chops in the corner
by Jericho. Back body drop by Jericho, followed by a clothesline

Jericho and then low kicks him 1-2-kickout. Triple H suplexes Jericho,
followed by a knee drop 1-2-shoulder up. Jericho fights back, but gets DDT'd
by Triple H (so much for that rumor). Triple H puts Jericho in a sleeper
that brings Jericho to his knees, but Jericho gets back up and breaks the
hold, but gets booted down. Triple H goes to the turnbuckle, but Jericho low
blows him. Jericho hurricanranas the stunned Triple H, but is still feeling
the effects of the sleeper and can't pin. Both men stagger up, with Jericho

Triple H's face. Lionsault by Jericho, but Steph is still distracting the

until Jeff runs down. Benoit breaks the hold and takes his belt and nails
Jeff with it. In the back, Edge and Christian are watching since Christian
takes on Jeff for the last spot in the King of the Ring. Edge asks if
Christian wants him to come to the ring, to which Christian says that would
be unnecessary, illegal, rude, and underhanded. Edge says "So, you do want
me to come down?" and Christian says "Of course." They walk off. Commercial.Christian vs. Jeff Hardy (King of the Ring Qualifier): Replay of Benoit
