Raw Opening:
-We begin with still shots of last night’s Main Event, with Vince McMahon storming down and taking out his rage on everyone from Austin to Shane, only to have his arch-enemy come out victorious.

The video rolls and they pyros explode, as RAW gets underway, LIVE from Kansas City, Missouri, just one day removed from No Mercy.

Vince & Linda McMahon Interview
-“No Chances” hits, and Vince and Linda march out, arm in arm for the first time in seemingly forever. Vince introduces Linda, and explains that for the past two and a half months, he has been undergoing therapy, for both his mind and body. Meanwhile, he sat back and watched his children attempt to dismantle the greatest sports-entertainment empire ever created. But he will not sit back any more. It started last night, but tonight, he’s going to take care of business. But he needs a little “personal jumpstart” to get him going. He turns to embrace his wife. Here Comes The Money! Shane and Steph come out on the stage, disgusted at what they see. Shane says that seeing two old people kiss makes him absolutely sick. Steph wonders why these two old prunes don’t just dry up and blow away. Why don’t they just move down to Florida and retire with the rest of the elderly people. Vince says that they’ve thought about it, but now isn’t the right time. They didn’t have everything handed to them on a platter like Shane and Steph. They earned their empire. That’s why he has a proposal. The next Pay-Per-View is named Survivor Series, and that is very appropriate. He’s sick of this Alliance/Invasion crap. One match: one survivor. Let’s put it all on the line. Shane confers with Steph and says that Vince is on. Vince says that’s great, but tonight will be the beginning of the end. They’ve done a good job at stealing the WWF Titles, but that’s down with. Let’s start with the WWF Champion. Shane stops Vince and brings up Vince’s hitting of Austin with a chair last night. In doing so, Vince screwed himself. Austin needed twelve stitches and suffered a concussion. Thus, Austin will not be competing tonight. Steph chimes in and says that there is another champion who will be competing tonight: Chris Jericho. Vince stops her and says that, since Austin isn’t here, Jericho has already been put into a match. Jericho will team up with The Rock to bring the WWF Tag Titles back from the Dudleys. And if Shane and Steph are up for it, there are lots more challenges to be laid out. Shane wonders out loud what is stopping him from walking down there and kicking Vince’s ass right now? He and Steph begin down the ramp, but Regal runs out and stops Shane. He whispers something to the WCW Owner and Shane pulls up short. Shane says that he won’t do this in front of his mother. Linda asks where they went wrong. Their daughter is a man-eater, and their son is a wuss. Regal pulls Shane and Steph back, while Vince and his wife exchange smiles. Fade Out.

-Lita marches out first, followed by Trish. Ivory comes out, followed by our resident super-heroine, Mighty Molly. Lita and Mighty Molly start out, with Lita hitting a headscissor takedown. Lita goes up top and hits a moonsault on Ivory 1-2-3!

In the back, RVD comes into Vince and Linda’s room. Vince says they need to talk business. The WWF means everything to Vince and his wife, and they would love to have RVD as a part of their organization. RVD doesn’t know. He just isn’t into choosing sides. Vince tells him that you’re either with him, or against him. RVD says that he’s fine where he is, just being himself, R-V-D. Well then, Vince says, he can be RVD defending the Hardcore Title against the Big Show. Fade Out.

In the back, Matt is looking for Lita to congratulate her, but walks in on a half-naked Trish Stratus. He congratulates her and watches as she goes to the showers. He stares as Lita walks in on him. They congratulate each other and Lita goes to shower, but Matt has to stop her to keep her from seeing Trish in there, so he sweet talks her and they go to find a private shower.

In the back, Foley walks into Regal’s office and clears off a corner of the desk for himself. Foley says that they need to work together to make sure there aren’t any run-ins and interference and all that. And if it all goes well, they may get in a game of Connect Four.

DDP Interview
-BANG! It’s He, it’s he: it’s D-D-P! DDP makes his way down to the ring, toothy grin on his headset mic-ed face. He came here to deliver a message that all of us can relate to: losing. How about the Kansas City Chiefs? He came here to support all those WWF Superstars in the back. They need to know that losing isn’t a bad thing; it’s a good thing. When you lose, you learn. You learn to eat healthier, to train harder, to live better. BOOM! Kane makes his way down to the ring and stands face to face with DDP, but Page simply smiles right at him. DDP tells Kane that his coming out here and interupting him isn’t a bad thing. It’s a good thing, because Kane is a perfect example of his message. Last night, Kane lost to Test, and he’s lost most of his life’s matches. For example, take his face. As a child, he was badly burned, and as a result, he has mangled flesh for a face. But that’s a good thing. Why? Because Kane gets to wear a mask all the time, and people love masks. Halloween is right around the corner! But coolest of all, no one gets to see what he looks like, because if they did, women would vomit and kids would scream. Kane suddenly chokeslams Page and lights up the ringposts. Fade Out.

Over at WWFNY, Maven thanks the WWF for the honor of competing on SmackDown. He watched his matches and realizes just how far he has to go, and because of that, he has decided to go down to the WWF farm system to become the bets he can be. Tazz appears behind him and knocks him out with the Tazzmission.

In their office, Foley says that Tazz should have to face the real star of Tough Enough, Al Snow, on SmackDown. Regal agrees. Foley names off all the titles the WWF has won tonight, and says that they’re about to win the WWF Tag Titles. Regal says that won’t happen, but even if it does, it won’t matter, because after Survivor Series, there won’t be a WWF at all.

In the back, Rock congratulates Jericho on winning the big one, one of the best matches of all time. But the Rock wants him to always remember that in some way, some form, some fashion, there will be a rematch. But tonight isn’t about that. Tonight is all about the WWF Tag Team Titles. Rock asks if Jericho is still WWF. Jericho says that he is WWF always and forever, through and through. Then tonight, Rock says, that only thing Jericho needs to be concerned with is laying the smackdown on the Dudley’s candy asses. Rock goes to leave, but Jericho stops him and hands him a present: the nameplate that used to be on the WCW Title belt. Rock thanks him and gives Jericho a present: a steel chair, because that’s the only way Jericho is going to ever be able to beat The Great One.
