Backstage, we see Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Eddie Guerrero, and Chris Benoit talking backstage. Flair tells Arn that if Austin shows up, to tell him they are in the ring. Flair, Guerrero, and Benoit head out, followed by an entourage of security personnel.

Ric Flair Interview
-The pyros blaze as we are LIVE from Dallas, Texas, right near the home of Chan Ho Park and the Texas Rangers! Flair's music hits as he, Guerrero, and Benoit head down the ramp. About 2 dozen security guards follow and surround the ring. Could this have to do with that unruly fan in Edmonton from last week? We'll see. Flair grabs the mic and says he loves it when a plan comes together, and last week, his welcoming committee grounded Stone Cold Steve Austin. We see a clip of Benoit and Guerrero attacking Austin from behind from last Monday. Flair hands the mic to Benoit, who says that he made a very special appearance on RAW last week just to see Stone Cold. He says the only reason he is unable to wrestle tonight is because of Stone Cold. Just over a year ago, he came in the ring and was about to achieve his ultimate goal of winning the WWE title, when Austin took that away from him. His words, not mine. Benoit had a whole year sitting at home with a whole lot of time and patience, and now he has run out of both. Last week was the beginning of a long and painful payback for Steve Austin. Guerrero takes the mic and starts speaking Spanglish. No habla espanol, Eddie. Last week, Eddie had his Intercontinental title stolen from him, and it made him feel like less of a man, like he was losing his Latinoism. However, after he frog splashed Austin, he felt that warm blood pumping in his body, felt that fire running through his veins, felt his Latino Heat. Again, his words, not mine. Flair grabs the mic and tells Eddie how cool Eddie is. Flair says he bets Austin would like to wrestle tonight in his own home state of Texas, but he can't because he is benched. If Austin has a problem with that, he can talk to the enforcer, Double-A, Arn Anderson. Austin appears on the Titantron, holding up Arn like a puppet, saying that Arn isn't saying anything because Austin whipped his ass. Austin says ever since Flair took him out of the ring after Judgment Day, he hasn't liked it at all. Many times. He said it over and over. He doesn't care who he gets, but he wants Benoit or Guerrero, or else he will do to Flair what he did to Arn Anderson. Flair says that Austin's not going to bully him into making decisions. He says Guerrero is already in a match, and Benoit is not medically cleared yet, and besides, Benoit is still property of Smackdown. Austin wonders if he should listen to everything Flair says because he is Ric Flair. Austin says if Flair won't give him Guerrero or Benoit, he should make in Ric Flair vs. Stone Cold, right here in Texas. Austin says if he wins the match, he gets to be off the bench, competing full-time, and if he loses, Austin is back on the bench. Flair asks if Austin wants to wrestle the 16-time world champion. Flair says ok, he can wrestle The Man, under one condition: it's going to be an old-time wrestling match, not a saloon barfight. If Flair beats him by a 3-count, makes him submit, or if Austin gets DQed, Austin is on the bench for the rest of his life. Flair tells Austin that he is no match in the squared circle for the Nature Boy. Austin asks Flair what exactly is the Nature Boy. Does he like Nature? Does he like Boys? Austin inexplicably stomps Arn a few more times. Austin hsa been drinking beer all day, and he'll be damned if nature isn't calling right now. It appears as if Austin urinates on Arn Anderson. Austin says it's better to be pissed off than pissed on. The "urine" didn't even come close to looking real, and I think that's a good thing. Arn Anderson writhers in disgust on the floor backstage, as Austin's music hits to close the segment. Fade Out.

Steven Richards vs. Bradshaw
-We come back to see Bradshaw and Steven Richards already in the midst of a hardcore match, with Jacqueline as the ref. Richards has the upper hand, but Bradshaw reverses an Irish whip and knocks him to the ground. Bradshaw takes a cowbell and hits Steven with it. Bradshaw hits a gutwrench slam, and then hog-ties Steven's legs together. Bradshaw goes under the ring and grabs a saddle and a pair of bull horns from under the ring. Don't ask. Richards hits Bradshaw with a trash can lid a few times, knocking him to the mat. Steven with a kick to the head, then another trash can lid shot. Bradshaw catches Steven off the ropes and hits a fallaway slam for a two-count. Spike Dudley comes down to the ring and heads to the top, but Bradshaw kicks him off. Bradshaw then lands a Clothesline from Hell and wins the Hardcore title! Justin Credible comes down, but Bradshaw boots him down and then places a trash can over his head and starts beating him. Crash comes down as Bradshaw's music plays, but he hits Crash with a big boot on the outside of the ring. Jacqueline goes to raise his hand, but Bradshaw doesn't trust her that much. Bradshaw leaves as the new Hardcore Champion.

The nWo is backstage arguing, and Nash tells them to shut up. Nash says his big announcement affects all of them, and he wants Booker T and X-Pac to focus on their King of the Ring qualifying matches. Goldust comes back acting like the Coach, and asks if Goldust is going to be in the nWo. They say Hell No, but Booker says if Goldust wants to be in the nWo, they should let him. Booker says if Goldust beats X-Pac tonight, X-Pac should be out of the nWo and Goldust should be in. Nash says he'll think about it, much to the dismay of X-Pac. Fade Out.

X-Pac vs. Goldust [KOTR Qualifying]
-The nWo music hits as X-Pac makes his way down to the ring for a KotR qualifying match. Pac is still wearing Kane's mask. We find out that only the semi-finals and the finals will be on the PPV. Goldust's music hits as the bizarre one heads down for the fight. JR shills some upcoming events real quick. Goldie is sporting a goatee, part of his attempt to look like the Coach. Pac takes off his mask and shirt and the match starts. A few X-Pac Sucks chants start. Goldust makes the Wolfpac hand gesture, but Pac starts kicking him. Goldust hits an inverted atomic drop, and then stomps away on Pac. Goldust gives Pac a throat drop on the top rope. Goldust rakes the eyes, then knocks him down off an Irish whip for a near fall. Pac hits a spinning heel kick for a 2-count. Pac with a bodyslam, followed by a quick legdrop. Pac starts ripping away at Goldust's fake goatee, then hits a knife edge chop and a few kicks in the corner. Pac goes for the Bronco Buster, but Goldust gets out of the way. Goldust hits some punches in the corner, then a foot choke on X-Pac. Goldust hits the Bronco Buster instead, enjoying it quite a bit. He goes for it again, but X-Pac kicks him in the groin and then hits the X-Factor for the 1-2-3! X-Pac advances in the King of the Ring tourney. Pac gives the nWo sign to show he's not going anywhere.

We see clips of the awesome ladder match from last week between RVD and Eddie Guerrero. We see the real Coach standing with RVD and when we come back, we will hear from the new Intercontinental champion.

Coach congratulates RVD on his title victory last week. RVD says he would go through it all again for the belt. RVD says last week was the start of something good, and the start of the Summer of RVD. Paul Heyman comes in acting very ostentatious. Heyman says RVD knows that he was the one who made RVD. Heyman wants RVD to meet Brock Lesnar face to face. When RVD meets Brock in the tag match tonight, RVD will know what it's like to meet the Next Big Thing. RVD says he is looking forward to it.

We see Jeff Hardy playing a guitar backstage. Brother Matt asks Jeff what he's up to. Jeff asks Matt if he ever thought there would be more than this. Jeff says they just go to different places and wrestle, they don't live for the moment, and they're definitely not extreme. They're hypocrites. Matt asks Jeff where he is going with this, and Jeff says Matt will see, and walks off. I play guitar too, and I'm not extreme either.

Flair is backstage with Arn Anderson, the security guards, and a lawyer, saying he wants more stipulations added to the match tonight. Flair says if he wins tonight, Austin becomes his personal assistant. Wash his car, mow his lawn, wear a dress, Austin has to do it all. Flair is tired of hearing about how Austin is a brawler, so if Austin throws one punch, he is disqualified and becomes Flair's personal assistant. Austin walks in the room asking if Flair has the contract. Austin signs the contract without reading it, saying all he needs to know is if he wins, he's off the bench. He watches as Flair signs the contract too. Austin asks if the lawyer is proud of himself and his contract. Austin gets handed a copy of the contract, as Flair smiles. Austin wonders why, and Flair tells him he'll find out soon enough.

We see Trish Stratus on her way to the ring for her lingerie match tonight. Fade Out.

We are shown a WWE Rewind of Trish defending the title last week against Molly, then getting knocked out by Molly and the brass knuckles.

Trish Stratus vs. Molly Holly
-Trish Stratus makes her way out in a bra, panties, her coat, and of course, her Women's title belt. Trish removes two of the items (sorry, not those two) and prepares for her opponent. Terri comes out next, fresh off her Hardcore title victory, wearing a bra and panties as well. Good times. Not bad times, Good times. Trish is wearing black boots, and Terri is wearing beige, for the ladies out there. Trish gets take down to start the match, but Trish responds with a hair pull takedown. Terri gets a quick cover after a corner attack. Terri heads to the top rope, and hits a cross body for a 2-count. Trish throws a couple elbows, backing Terri into the corner. Trish hits a suplex on Terri and gets a near-fall. Trish whips Terri into the corner, but Terri kicks her. Trish picks Terri up in a powerbomb position but it leads to a reversal of pinning combinations. Trish hits the Stratusfaction to end a match that I didn't pay NEARLY enough attention to. Molly comes in to attack Trish with the brass knuckles, but Trish turns around and hits her with the Women's title belt. Trish then takes off her underwear (YES!) to reveal a VERY skimpy thong. Trish takes the underwear and tosses it on Molly. Trish heads up the ramp as Molly remains in the ring, looking generally upset. Two out of three falls, please? I'm taking a cold shower now.

Backstage, we see a frustrated Arn Anderson who says to Chris Benoit that he feels like an animal. There are just some things you don't do and Austin stepped over the line. Once Flair wins, Austin will pay. Anderson says that Flair has a bunch of toilets at his house and he hopes that he's there to watch Austin clean it. Benoit says that the irony of the situation is that Austin is about to flush his whole career down the toilet.

Eddie Guerrero & Brock Lesnar vs. RVD & Bubba Ray Dudley
-Back in the ring, the competitors in the upcoming tag team match make their respective way down to the ring. RVD and Guerrero start things off with Guerrero feigning a back injury, thus tagging out to Brock Lesnar. Van Dam then tags out to Bubba and so Lesnar and Bubba lock up but immediately Eddie joins in and some double teaming occurs. Lesnar tags out to Eddie who kicks away on Bubba in the corner. Tag to Lesnar who drives Bubba back into the turnbuckle and then whips him from corner to corner. And Irish Whip is countered and Bubba hits the DDT on Brock but can only get a two count. He tags out to RVD who continues to work away on Lesnar but runs into a backbreaker and a powerslam. Tag to Eddie who throws a bunch of left elbows to RVD's back before knocking him down with another elbow. A heel kick by RVD allows him to tag out to Bubba who comes in and clotheslines Eddie a couple times before back body dropping him. Punches by Bubba and an elbow brings Brock who is promptly greeted by a belly to back suplex. Bubba then calls for the tables but he can't bring it in and Eddie baseball slides right into the table which hits Bubba back in the face. Heyman cheapshots Bubba Ray and Brock throws him back in where Guerrero punches and kicks away. Suplex, flip neck breaker and tag out to Brock who once again drives Bubba into a neutral corner. But he can't get any further as Bubba catches him with a Bubba bomb which basically knocks both men out for a bit. Simultaneous tags and RVD and Eddie got at it in the center of the ring but Van Dam gets the better of it. RVD ends up hitting the split leg moonsault, knocks Brock off the ring and then gets the Rolling Thunder but Brock manages to get back in. All four men in the ring with Bubba suplexing Eddie and Brock returning the favor on Bubba leaving Van Dam and Lesnar to go at it. Heel kick by RVD but as he goes for the Five Star Splash, Heyman knocks him over allowing Brock to hit his TKO-type maneuver on RVD. Bubba comes running in and takes Brock out of the mix but this allows Eddie Guerrero, the legal man, to hit his frog splash for the win.

Backstage, Coach is interviewing William Regal who says it was a shame what happened to Molly. Regal then shifts his thoughts to his match with Booker T. Regal says he represents WWE better and he's royalty but Booker interrupts him and says that if anyone is gonna be king, it's him. Regal says that Booker T can't even spell king. Booker T then talks about George Washington and how he outdueled the King of England. Booker leaves and Regal says that apparently Booker didn't read the full history but Booker comes back and says sucka and then leaves again.

We come back from commercial to see them plug the WWE Cookbook. Then we're shown a recap of the Tough Enough 2 finale.

Booker T vs. William Regal [KOTR Qualifying]
-Back in the arena, Booker T comes out to the ring, followed by William Regal. They try to lock up, but Regal cowers in the corner and they go at it again. Arm lock and reversals, followed by a drop toe hold into headlock. Match proceeds until both men end up outside where Regal stomps on Booker before throwing him back in. Regal with a knee to Booker's head and a cover, but Booker kicks out. European uppercuts by Regal but Booker soon battles his way out and greets Regal with a punch and chop of. Scissors kick by Booker T, cover but kickout. Another attempt but Regal moves out of the way and Booker gets hung up on the top rope. Regal heads to the outside and throws in his belt and grabs a chair but the referee stops him, allowing Booker to grab the belt and hit him with it behind the ref's back. Cover, 1-2-3, Booker wins.

After the match, Booker T grabs a mic and says that he came here to give the people what they want. He proceeds to do the spinaroonie.

Backstage, Tommy Dreamer is looking glum so Coach asks him if he's okay. Dreamer says that he's not feeling well ever since he found out that he has to wrestle Taker tonight. He says that he hasn't been able to keep any food down and ends up showing Coach a bucket full of vomit. Coach says that he'll be feeling a lot worse once he sees footage of what Taker did to Triple H on Smackdown!. Cue the video. After we see the clips, Coach asks for Dreamer's reaction. Dreamer doesn't say a word and instead pukes in his bucket.

Tommy Dreamer vs. Undertaker
-In the arena, Undertaker and Tommy Dreamer both head to the ring for their upcoming non-title match. On his way out, Dreamer (bucket in hand) pukes some more. Before the match, Dreamer takes some of his vomit and eats it. Sick. The two lock up but the match quickly proceeds to the outside where Dreamer attempts a high cross body but gets powerslammed to the mat instead. Taker sends Dreamer back into the ring where he proceeds to destroy Dreamer in one of the corners. Not too long after that, Undertaker hits a chokeslam followed by three elbow drops. Cover, but Taker pulls Dreamer up at two. Dragon sleeper by Taker results in a submission victory.

After the match, Taker throws Dreamer to outside, then grabs the bucket of vomit and pours it all over Dreamer's face. As Taker stands over watching, Jeff Hardy sneaks up from behind and dropkicks Taker right into Dreamer and the puke. Jeff leaves and Taker turns around and stares him down angrily.

Back live, Matt Hardy is talking to someone on the phone when Undertaker barges in and asks him where Jeff is. Matt says that he left so Taker asks him if he'd give him a message. Matt says sure anything so Taker kicks him and beats him up.

Back in the arena, the nWo music hits and leader Kevin Nash makes his way out for his interview. Nash takes the mic and says that a lot of times in this business, suprises never live up the hype. Tonight he promised to deliver something that would rock WWE's foundation. There's a new member in the nWo and without further ado he introduces him: Shawn Michaels! The Heartbreak Kid makes his way out to his old music sporting an nWo t-shirt. They do their old handshake and high five and pose together without saying another word.

Backstage, Debra reads the contract to Ric Flair and tells him that the loser has to become the winner's assistant. When Austin realizes this, a smile comes across his face and he leaves.

Steve Austin vs. Ric Flair
-In the arena, Ric Flair and then Steve Austin enter the ring. The two lock up and Flair quickly side headlocks Austin and then takes him down with a drop toe hold. Austin recovers though and quickly wrings Flair's arm before dropping him with a shoulder block. He goes to punch Flair but stops himself remembering the stipulations of the match. Austin gives Flair the bird and two lock up again with Austin taking Ric down with another drop toe hold. Half Boston Crab by Stone Cold but Flair gets to the ropes and the hold is broken by the referee. In the corner, Austin chops away on Flair but Flair returns the favor. Thumb to the eyes by Flair gets Austin going backwards but an Irish Whip is reversed, allowing Stone Cold to hit the Lou Thesz press. Chops by Austin again backing Flair into the corner. Stone Cold once again stops himself from punching Flair but clotheslines him instead resulting in a two count. In the middle of the match, Benoit comes down prompting the referee to head out in an attempt to stop him. In the meantime, Austin hits the Stunner and goes for a cover but there is no referee. As Austin looks at the ref and Benoit, Eddie Guerrero sneaks up from behind and low blows him, after which he frog splashes him. The referee returns and starts the count since both men are down but just as Flair gets up, we cut to a commercial break. We come back with both men on the outside and the two exchanging the move of the day, the famous chop. Back body-drop by Austin after which he suplexes Flair back into the ring. Flair begs for mercy but Austin ignores him and continues to chop away but Flair punched Austin when the referee wasn't looking. Flair works on Austin's knee before backing him into the corner with guess what - more chops! More kicks to the knee but Austin fights back with you know what but Flair turns around with you know what. Kick to the gut by Flair and another kick to the knee knocks Austin down. Figure four by Flair and once again, behind the referee's back, Flair grabs the ropes for more leverage. Austin countered the move and the two once again go at it in the center of the ring with some chops before they collide. Flair heads to the top but Stone Cold catches him and slams from to the ground. Austin corners Flair and kicks away stomping him all the way to the mat. Flair with another thumb to the eye and an inside cradle but Austin kicks out. Austin then throws in a backslide but Flair kicks out. They chop away and another thumb to the eye sends Austin back. Irish whip by Austin, kick and then the Stone Cold Stunner which gets the 1-2-3. Flair is now Austin's personal assistant.

After the match, Austin beats up Flair somewhere, nailing another Stunner. He gets his beer as the show goes off the air.
