The opening montage aired... Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler introduced the show from ringside...Ric Flair walked to the ring for a promo. Flair admitted he lost to Steve Austin last week and recalled that the loser of the match would have to do whatever the winner requested per the match stipulations. Flair said he came to Atlanta and was willing to do whatever Austin wanted, but Austin never showed up. Vince McMahon walked to the ring as the announcers questioned what he was doing on Raw. Vince chewed out Flair for being a sorry excuse for an owner. "Quite frankly, what you've done is taken this show Raw, a show that I created, and driven it right into the toilet." The crowd chanted "asshole" at Vince, who told Flair he "sucks" as an owner. "I'm sorry that I haven't lived up to your expectations," Flair said. "But since your out here on Raw, talking down to me, what do you suppose we do about it?" Vince bragged about being "a certified billionaire" and admitted he does everything for his own ego. "And my ego cannot stand one further day of you owning what I created," Vince added. Vince said he is a gambling man and challenged Flair to a no holds barred match for one hundred percent ownership of WWE. "I don't have a damn thing to lose," Vince added. "You want to wrestle me for 100 percent ownership of WWE," Flair asked. "Well, let me tell you, you 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair wannabe, you got it, tonight."
