Brock Lesnar Interview
-RAW opens up with Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman making their way down to the ring. Heyman grabs the mic and says that he told us all that this would be the summer of the next big thing, Brock Lesnar. Yet all everyone says is that this will be the summer of Rob Van Dam. But Brock Lesnar will take control of this summer all the way until Summerslam when he becomes the new WWE champion. He has ruthless aggression but he also has intelligence, the intelligence to be inspired by other men. Men like Kurt Angle who last week challenged any rookie to wrestle him. Today, Brock Lesnar has a better challenge - his challenge is to any veteran in the back who has the guts to step into the ring against Brock. Signs were posted at 1pm this afternoon of this challenge so who has the guts? No one comes out so Heyman wonders if there is not one person who has the ruthless aggression to step up. Before long, Ric Flair's music hits and Flair comes out decked in his wrestling gear, complete with robe. Flair takes a mic and says that he has not forgotten about Lesnar's interference that cost his ownership of RAW. He's a veteran but better than that, he's a legend and tonight, Brock will find out that he's the dirtiest player in the game. Brock steps up into Flair's face and grabs the mic from him. Brock says that he's in the wrong place, in the wrong year with the wrong man.

Brock Lesnar vs. Ric Flair
-Flair takes off his robe and the match begins. They lock up a couple of times, but Brock shows off his power by simply pushing Flair to the ground. Brock basically dominates the match until Flair thumbs him in the eye. Knee drop by Ric and a cover but Brock kicks out rather quickly. Lesnar jumps back to his feet and floors Ric and then hammers away with several kicks. Lesnar with a clothesline in the corner, followed by two back-breakers and Flair bails to the outside. Brock follows him out and continues to pummel away but Ric fights back and sends Lesnar into the ringpost. Back in the ring, Lesnar punches and swings Flair into the ropes but misses with a charge allowing Ric to lay into him with a few chops. Bear hug by Brock slows the action down but Flair fights back with some ax handles and chops which finally breaks the hold. They continue to battle it away, with both men getting in their respective offense. Finally, Ric nails the figure four in the middle of the ring and Heyman jumps on the apron just as Lesnar reaches the ropes. Flair lets go and decks Heyman but turns around only to run into the F-5 by Brock. Cover and Brock wins. WINNER via pinfall: Brock Lesnar.

In the back, Jackie is getting fixed up by her makeup lady when Coach sneaks up from behind and says that at the Divas: Undressed special, she looked great and he felt she should have won. Jackie says that in all honesty, she didn't lose the competition, she just didn't win. They talk about the match last week and Jackie says that in reality, she did't lose the match, it was her tag team parter, Molly Holly. Molly comes out of nowhere and says that if she didn't worry so much about how she looked, she would be a better competitor. Jackie responds by saying that at least she looks good in her underwear, to which Molly slaps her across the face. They start tussling and eventually make their way into the arena but by the ramparea where they duke it out with various weapons, including a pipe which Jackie misses with. Molly uses the same pipe to choke Jackie out. They make their way to the ring, where Molly suplexes her to the mat. In the ring, Molly with a backbreaker and then another slap. She leaves with her championship belt but Trish sneaks up from behind and sends Molly back in the ring where Trish strips Molly, revealing her white granny undies. Trish walks away laughing and motioning that Molly has a fat ass.

Backstage, Terri is interviewing Christopher Nowinski who has challenged Bradshaw in a regular non-hardcore match. Christopher says that the reason he did not want to wrestle for the hardcore title is that he prefers to wrestle in a civilized manner where the best weapon is not a table or a chair, but intelligence.

Bradshaw vs. Christopher Nowinski
-We come back to see Christopher Nowinski approach the ringside area. Bradshaw comes in next and the match starts abruptly with Bradshaw attacking Nowinksi before heading to the outside and under the ring, where he finds a number of weapons that are thrown into the ring. The referee tries to stop him from using it but Bradshaw ignores the request. With the ref distracted as he rids the ring of one weapon, Nowinski nails Bradshaw with a cow bell to score the pinfall.

The two wrestlers lock up and Regal collide with Regal landing on top with an elbow drop. Quick cover and quick kickout. RVD tries a kick but Regal counters with a full nelson suplex. On the outside, Regal works away on RVD's head before throwing him back in and clotheslining him on the edge of the mat. Regal with a kick to Van Dam's head and a couple near falls result. Regal continues to work away on RVD but an attempted suplex is reversed into an inside cradle but Regal fights it off. Modified STF by Regal has RVD reeling but he catches Regal with a monkey flip to regain control. Back handspring into a high cross body, followed by Rolling Thunder and a cover, but Regal gets his shoulder up. Irish whip is reversed into a double underhook powerbomb, but RVD counters it. Up to the top, RVD hits the five star frog splash for the victory. WINNER: Rob Van Dam. After the match, RVD takes the mic and calls out Brock Lesnar saying he wants to settle their differences right here tonight. Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar emerge from the back and stand on the ramp. Heyman says that he's always liked that about Robbie - he has guts, more guts than brains, but guts nonetheless. That's the only reason he will do RVD this one favor. Heyman says he has advised Brock Lesnar not to come down to the ring to take you out tonight. However, he proposes a match on a grander schedule - RVD vs. Brock Lesnar at Vengeance in three weeks - if RVD has the guts. Van Dam says it's cool with him, etc. etc. because he's Rob Van Dam.

Bubba gets tagged in and goes nuts on Eddie with a powerbomb and a pin attempt which is broken up by Benoit. But Bubba cleans house on both Guerrero and Benoit before setting Guerrero up for the Whassup headbutt which Spike nails. Bubba then tells Spike to get the table which he does but Benoit and Guerrero come to their senses and stop that from happening. In the ring, Eddie lays out Bubba and goes for the frog splash but Bubba moves out of the way before hitting the Bubba Bomb on Guerrero resulting in a pinfall victory. WINNERS: Spike & Bubba Ray Dudley. After the match, Benoit attacks Bubba Ray but Spike comes from behind and tries to hit the Dudley Dog but Benoit pushes him off the ropes and into the table. Finally, Benoit and Eddie let Bubba go.

They show clips of Jeff Hardy and his success in ladder matches.

Backstage, Terri wants some comments from Undertaker. Taker says he will get to Jeff Hardy in a second but right now he wants to talk about Kurt Angle. Unlike Hulk Hogan, he does not tap out so when he finishes off Kurt Angle, he will move onto the Rock. Taker says he will make Rock regret his actions at King of the Ring. Terri asks Terri if he's not even concerned about his match against Jeff Hardy since he's never before been in such a match. Undertaker says "what's your point" and then ends the interview.

Backstage, Big Show finds X-Pac down and out. Lawler speculates that it was Booker T who knocked him out. The tag team match is now a singles match apparently with Goldust and X-Pac both sidelined.

Booker T sneaks back in as the count is still underway and wins via countout. WINNER via countout: Booker T. After the match, Booker T does the spinaroonie and then departs through the crowd because he knows the nWo will be waiting for him backstage.

In the back, Shawn Michaels and Kevin Nash are talking about Show not getting the job done and Nash says that he will knock him out.

nWo Interview
-We come back live to see Shawn Michaels and Kevin Nash in the ring confronting Big Show over his loss to Booker T. I forgot to mention that earlier in the show, Nash said that the nWo would kick Show's ass if he didn't win. Nash punches Big Show but Show doesn't tolerate it and retaliates. Shawn Michaels steps in between and says that enough of this tough love. They shouldn't be fighting, they're after Booker T. So next week, he will have a big announcement. The nWo is like a family and right now one of their family members is injured. It's not X-Pac though. This family member is sitting at home recuperating. He's sitting there at home watching us right at this minute. For those who saw King of the Ring, you know who this person is. You saw it, you felt that electricity, that chemistry when we all came together. So next week, standing alongside X-Pac, Big Show, Kevin Nash and yours truly, Shawn Michaels none other than the newest member of the nWo - Triple H! Shawn then orders Nash and Show to kiss and make up. As Show and Nash shake hands, Shawn gives Big Show some Sweet Chin Music and Nash and Shawn walk away. On the rampway, Show and Nash call back to Big Show saying it's just tough love.

He's stepped up for ten years and shown ruthless aggression now and so it doesn't matter whether he wins tonight or whether he loses, whether he is champion or not, at Vengeance he will face The Rock. Taker takes offense to the champion or not comment and says that when he leaves that ring tonight, Jeff Hardy will not be able to stand up.

In Jeff Hardy's lockerroom, Matt comes in and wishes him good luck. Matt says that he also has someone outside who wants to wish him good luck. He opens the door and Lita steps in and says that it will be nice tonight when she rides back with the new WWE champion. Jeff says there is only one way to find out and leaves for his match.

Jeff Hardy vs. Undertaker
-We come back as Jeff Hardy makes his way down with the Undertaker already in the ring. Jeff sits on Taker's bike and Taker doesn't like it so he comes out allowing Jeff to sneak back into the ring. Taker finally floors Jeff, allowing him to pummel away with a headbutt and then ramming his head into the barricade. Taker tries to slam Jeff into the ladder but Jeff slips off and Taker runs into it himself. Jeff then places the ladder on Taker and then hit a legdrop on it. Back in the ring, Taker knocks Jeff down and shoots him to the outside. He sets up the ladder and looks up at the title but changes his mind and instead goes after Jeff, further assaulting him near the announcer's table. Back in the ring, Taker kicks Jeff some more before knocking down the ladder and further turning his attention to Jeff. Hardy tries to fight back with a flurry of punches that have Taker reeling but one right hand flattens Jeff. Jeff falls in between the two legs of the ladder and Taker climbs on the mat and and jumps on it, squishing Jeff in between. The match progresses until Jeff sees a glimmer of hope and hits the corkscrew moonsault. Jeff quickly grabs the ladder but before he can do anything, Taker gets up and kicks him to the outside. Jeff comes back in and springboards off the ladder and flips onto Taker. Jeff takes out another, bigger ladder from under the ring and sends it to te inside where he sets it up. Jeff starts climbing it but Taker crawls into the ring and positions him for the Last Ride, but Jeff counters it and hurricanranas Taker to the outside. Jeff starts climbing up against when Taker re-enters the ring with a chair, slamming it against Hardy's back, causing Jeff to fall all the way to the mat. Taker drives the chair into Jeff's throat before setting him once again for the Last Ride, but Jeff once again fights out of it and grabs the chair and nails him. Jeff levels Taker with the chair once again, knocking Taker out. Seizing the opportunity, Jeff climbs the ladder but Taker gets up and hits him with a couple chairshots that slow Jeff down. Taker starts climbing the other side himself and grabs Jeff in a chokeslam and throws him to the ground. Taker grabs the title to win the match. WINNER: Undertaker. After the match, Taker starts to leave but returns to give Jeff the Last Ride. As Taker rides away, Jeff gets a mic and says that Taker's hasn't won because he's still standing. Taker returns to the ring and starts his motion to punch Jeff, but stops and stares at Jeff. He then taps Jeff in the head and raises his hand!
