- RAW kicks off with highlights from last week’s Smackdown, with the controversial finish to the WWE Undisputed Championship match. If you’re unaware what happened, Kurt Angle had a triangle hold on the Undertaker, and Angle was pinned, but Undertaker submitted at the same time. The final result was a draw.

- Vince McMahon is shown backstage, announcing that the Undertaker has a well-deserved night off, as he defended his title twice last week. He also announces that the main event for Vengeance will now be a triple threat for the Undisputed Championship with Undertaker defending against both the Rock and Kurt Angle!

- Booker T, who according to Jim Ross isn’t scheduled to be in a match, makes his way down to the ring. He says that all he’s been hearing all week is that you’d better watch out, the nWo is going to take you out. He says he wants to take on that “funky cheese rat face” X-Pac right now!

- The music of “Latino Heat” Eddie Guerrero hits, and Eddie makes his way down to the ring. Eddie says if anybody is a sucka’, it’s Booker T. Guerrero says that if the now is going to kick Booker T’s @$$, it’s going to be on their terms, not his. Eddie says that he’s mad from last week, and was going to take his frustrations out on the first person to run their mouth, and says that’s obviously Booker T tonight. Booker throws a punch, and it looks like this will be an official match!

Booker T vs. Eddie Guerrero
- Booker starts the match by throwing some knife-edge chops, and calls for his axe kick. Booker was about to land it, but Eddie dropkicked Booker’s knee, then works him into the corner. Guerrero rolls Booker up and lands a two count, then whips Booker into the ropes and gives Booker a stiff shoulder block. Eddie is now working on Booker T with a strong and loud “Eddie Sucks” chant flowing in the background. Guerrero again works Booker into the corner, but his momentum is countered and Booker starts to punch Eddie in the corner. Guerrero gains the advantage once again, then whips Booker into the ropes, but Eddie goes face first into Booker T’s former “Harlem Side Kick”. Booker soon loses his momentum, and Guerrero knocks Booker down, and hits a rolling neckbreaker. Once again, they brawl to the corner, and Booker T climbs to the top rope and rolls up Eddie with a sunset flip!
Winner – Booker T

Post-Match: It looks like Booker was going to give us the spin-a-roonie, but Benoit makes his way down and attacks Booker T. Goldust soon comes to his friends aid and helps Booker with Benoit, but the team of Eddie and Benoit soon take both of them down. Spike and Bubba Dudley make their way down to the ring with chairs and send Benoit and Eddie out of the ring.

- A new Rey Mysterio Jr. promo is now shown.

- Booker T and Goldust are shown backstage, and Goldust starts to dance with Booker T saying that “Book Dust” is victorious once again. Booker throws Goldust off of him, and Goldust says he’s got another plan. Booker reminds Goldust that his plan never worked last week, and Goldust said that if he’s going down, he’ll be going down with his plan of glory! A vendor is shown, who resembles X-Pac remarkably, and Booker T attacks him. Booker finally realizes that it wasn’t X-Pac, and he sits the unconscious vendor down on a chair and gives him his food back.

- Trish and Jackie Gayda are shown backstage, and video clips are shown last week of Jackie and Molly’s brawl, where Trish interfered and pulled the pants off of Molly. Jackie says that was her ‘brawl’, and Trish interfered because she was jealous of Jackie. Trish asks Jackie what kind of fantasy world she’s living in, and Christopher Nowinski comes on to the scene, saying that if anyone is living in a fantasy world, it’s Trish. He wonders why everybody dresses like they’ve just come from a seven year olds birthday party. Trish issues a challenge with her and a partner of her choice teaming up against the “Tough Enough Kids”, Christopher and Jackie. Christopher then jokes about who Trish’s partner will be, then Trish announces that her partner will be Bradshaw! So, we’ll be seeing Trish Stratus and Bradshaw taking on Christopher Nowinski and Jackie Gayda later on tonight!

- Another “People’s Moment” segment is shown, with the Rock saying that Lilian gets wet..with perspiration standing this close to the Rock. Rock asks if Lilian would like to try the Rock’s strudel, and Lilian replies with “more than anything in the world, Rock”.

Chris Benoit w/Eddie Guerrero vs. Bubba Dudley w/Spike
- Chris Benoit, accompanied by Eddie Guerrero, makes his way down to the ring, and soon after clips from last week are shown of the punishment Benoit and Guerrero delivered Spike and Bubba last week. Goldust, dressed up as Benjamin Franklin, is shown backstage with Bubba Ray and Spike Dudley, asking if Bubba and Spike would like to join forces with Goldust and Booker T. Bubba says he doesn’t their help, and Franklin didn’t laugh like Santa Claus. The match gets underway with Benoit giving Bubba some chops in the corner, but Bubba lands a powerslam and heads for the top ropes. Benoit meets Bubba in the corner, but Bubba pushes him off. Bubba jumps off the top ropes and looked to hit a ‘back splash’ on Benoit, who moves out of the way. Benoit locks a chin lock on, and goes to work on Bubba, but only gets a two count with his pinfall attempt. Benoit and Bubba begin to exchange some knife-edge chops, and Benoit sends Bubba into the ropes, who counters with a kick to the face and lands a belly-to-back suplex, and gets a two count. Bubba and Benoit get up at the same time, and Bubba hits some punches on Benoit, then hits the Bubba Bomb! Guerrero threw Spike Dudley into the referee, breaking up the two count. Benoit locks on the Crippler Crossface and Bubba taps!
Winner – Chris Benoit

- Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero are doing a number on Spike, who is now out of the picture. Benoit locks on the Crossface again, then Booker T and Goldust come to the rescue, forcing Benoit and Guerrero out of the ring. It looks like Booker and Goldust are trying to form an alliance with Spike and Bubba...

- A Chris Nowinski segment is shown, where he talks about playing football for Harvard and shows us around the Harvard campus.

- Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler spoke about the Kurt Angle and Undertaker match last week, reminding fans that the main event has changed. We’re then treated to highlights from the Ladder match last week on RAW, when the Undertaker defended his title against Jeff Hardy. Undertaker won the match, and raised Jeff Hardy’s hand after the match, showing his respect for the courageous Jeff Hardy.

- Earlier Tonight: Jeff Hardy comes into the arena and is greeted by Ric Flair. Flair congratulates Jeff with his match with the Undertaker, and says that big things should be coming for Jeff soon, if he continues to perform like that. Jeff leaves, and Richards starts to clap. Richards says its guys like Ric Flair who take the spotlight away from Steven Richards. Ric Flair challenges Steven Richards to a match tonight, and says if his run is going to end, lets end it right now. Ric Flair says that Steven Richards isn’t man enough to end anything with Flair’s name on it.

Mixed Tag Team Match
Trish Stratus and Bradshaw vs. Christopher Nowinski and Jackie Gayda
- Trish Stratus makes her way down to the ring, while “The King” promotes the latest RAW magazine, with a poster of Trish in it! Bradshaw then comes down in his BlackJack gear, followed by Christopher Nowinski and Jackie Gayda. Ross mentions that Christopher and Jackie are “green” (inexperienced), but have confidence. Nowinski starts off in a football stance, and Bradshaw goes into one as well. Nowinski runs out of the ring, tagging Jackie. So, it looks like Jackie and Trish are going to kick off the action in this match-up. Nowinski then comes in and takes a cheap shot on Trish, allowing Jackie to choke Trish in the middle of the ring, and at the ropes. Jackie begins to work on the body of Trish, and makes the tag to her partner, Christopher Nowinski! Chris tries to drive two elbows into Trish, but luckily Trish is able to tag Bradshaw. Chris runs around the ring, tags Jackie, and Bradshaw runs after Chris through the crowd. So, we’re left with Jackie and Trish in the ring. Jackie sets Trish up on the top turnbuckle, who was trying to hook Trish up into a suplex, but Trish pushes Jackie off the ropes. Trish finishes the match by grabbing Jackie’s hair and pinning her!
Winners – Trish Stratus and Bradshaw

- Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero are shown backstage, saying that the Dudley Boyz, Booker T and Goldust are going to pay! The nWo is shown on Benoit/Guerrero’s scene, and X-Pac tells Benoit to chill out. Nash says that remember, there’s strength in numbers, and Michaels reminds Benoit and Guerrero that “Big Daddy Nash” has some important stuff to say, so they should listen up. It looks like the nWo are going to make their way to the ring!

- Various “People’s Moment” clips are shown, with the Rock making fun of the competitors backstage at Armageddon 2000, Billy Gunn, Big Show and others.

- The nWo is now making their way down to the ring. Shawn Michaels gets the mic, and says that you’re either with the New World Order, or against us. He says that Triple H, as you saw at King of the Ring, was definitely “with us. The King of the Ring clip is then shown, reminding us of what happens at that event. HBK says that, as all of you should know, that they’ve extended an offer for Triple H to come back. Michaels told us the story of the “Kliq”, saying they got hammered together, traveled the roads together, etc. Michaels said that they were family, and he hasn’t heard a reply from Triple H as of yet. He says that they are a forgiving family, but they won’t be ignored by anyone. Michaels says that Triple H needs the nWo more than the nWo needs Triple H. He said that HHH used to be one of the biggest bad-asses in the company, now he does everything for the fans. Michaels gives Triple H two weeks to make his decision, and says that long before the nWo, there was the Kliq, and unlike the nWo, the Kliq is “4 Life”. HBK says that Triple H either makes the best decision of his life, or the last decision of his life. Nash announces that he’s been cleared to wrestle, and he’s looking for a little “physical contact” tonight. He issues the challenge of allowing Benoit and Guerrero to join them tonight, in a ten man tag match against Goldust, Booker T, Spike, Bubba Dudley and a fifth partner of their choice. If they can’t find a fifth man, it’s going to be a 5 on 4. Nash says that he knows Triple H is watching, and knows that he’s not going to turn his back on family. He says that if he does turn his back on the family, he’s going to do what he does to Booker T tonight to Triple H.

- Backstage, Ric Flair is shown making his way to the ring!

Ric Flair vs. Steven Richards
- Ric Flair makes his way down to the ring, followed by Steven Richards. They grapple up, and Richards shoulder blocks Flair to the ground, and wrestles him into the corner. Flair hits a series of knife-edge chops on Richards, and stomps him into the ground. Flair takes Richards into the other corner, punches Richards and stomps him to the ground once again. More knife-edge chops and stiff punches, and Flair sends Richards out of the ring. This match has been all Flair so far! Flair takes Richards to the outside, chops him some more and they brawl back in the ring. [ Ross announces that the nWo’s challenge has been accepted. ] Richards finally gains some momentum with a suplex, but is short lived as Flair hits some more chops on Steven. Richards goes for another suplex, but is blocked by Flair, and “The Nature Boy” hits some more chops. Flair locks the figure-four on Richards, and he taps out!
Winner – Ric Flair

- “Another People’s Moment” is shown, where the Rock is shown in various clips signing.

- “The Next Big Thing” Brock Lesnar and his agent, Paul Heyman make their way down to the ring. Ross reminds us that Lesnar won the spot at Summer Slam in the main event, by winning the King of the Ring tournament. Paul Heyman says “as he walks through the valley of Extreme * big pops *, he walks fearless because Lesnar is by his side”. Heyman says that the man who walks out of Vengeance with the Undisputed Championship will be the sacrificial lamb against “The Next Big Thing” Brock Lesnar. Heyman announces that the match at Vengeance between Lesnar and Rob Van Dam will be for the Intercontinental Championship. Heyman mentions that here in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he made Rob Van Dam. Paul says that the Philadelphia fans called Heyman a “mad scientist” and “genius”, and because they called him that, he was able to sign Brock Lesnar. Tommy Dreamer interrupts Paul Heyman, with a Singapore cane in hand (ECW chant breaks out). Dreamer says that Heyman didn’t make anyone, he said that everybody in ECW busted their @$$ because they love this business, and love performing in front of “these” fans. Heyman tells Dreamer to go backstage and eat some strange things, or stick his head in the toilet and drink the water. Dreamer says that before he ate weird things, he was the Innovator of Violence. He challenges Brock Lesnar to take it to the extreme! Dreamer attacks Lesnar with the kendo stick, and sends Lesnar out of the ring. Dreamer looked to set up his piledriver on Heyman on to two chairs set up in the ring, but Brock Lesnar made the save, and clotheslined Dreamer out of the ring, and hit the F-5. Rob Van Dam takes out Brock Lesnar, and sets Heyman up in the corner, and climbs the turnbuckle on the other side of the ring, with a chair in hand. RVD HITS A MODIFIED VANTERMINATOR ON PAUL HEYMAN!! Brock Lesnar carries Paul Heyman backstage, with Rob Van Dam standing tall in the ring.

William Regal, the current European Champion, now comes down to the ring and hands his title to referee Charles Robinson. Regal attacks Jeff Hardy right away, but Jeff scores a series of high-flying moves off the turnbuckle, each scoring a two count. Regal and Jeff make their way to the outside, and Regal throws Jeff into the stairs, and is really going to work on Jeff, while a huge “Regal Sucks” chant breaks out. Regal and Jeff are back in the ring, and Regal hits a crucifix powerbomb on Jeff Hardy, who kicks out on the two count. Jeff lands the sunset flip from the outside into a pin, who only gets a two count. Regal runs into the ropes and lifts his knee, which connects with the face of Jeff Hardy, and Regal gets another two count. Regal chokes Jeff into the ropes, and waves to the fans, receiving genuine heel heat. Regal is working on Jeff Hardy once again, sends Jeff into the air, who counters that into an arm drag and gets a two count. Regal throws Jeff Hardy out of the ring and takes the turnbuckle off. - Coach is backstage with Regal, and asks him how Regal feels about losing his European Title. Regal begins to cry like a little baby, and Christopher Nowinski joins the scene comforting Regal.

- The New Dudley Boyz, Spike and Bubba Ray Dudley are talking about the former ECW days, talking to somebody (not shown on the camera), saying that they were thinking of one man who could step toe to toe with the nWo, Benoit and Guerrero, and that man is Rob Van Dam!

Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, X-Pac, Kevin Nash & Big Show vs. Booker T, Rob Van Dam, Goldust, Bubba Ray & Spike - Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit make their way down to the ring, and Joe Frazier is shown enjoying RAW at ringside. The nWo makes their way down to the ring.. Rob Van Dam, Bubba Ray Dudley, Spike Dudley, Booker T and Goldust, at a combined weight of 1268 pounds, make their way to the ring together. It looks like RVD and X-Pac are going to kick this bout off! X-Pac then lands a back body drop on Spike, and tags Chris Benoit, who is competing in his second match tonight on RAW. He sends Spike into the now/Eddie corner, and tags Eddie Guerrero. Guerrero begins to work on Spike, and Spike connects with a dropkick, and makes the tag to Rob Van Dam. Eddie whips RVD, which RVD counters and whips Eddie into the corner, who hits a monkey flip! The Big Show is tagged into the match, and starts to dismantle RVD. Show slaps the chest of RVD in the corner, and tosses RVD into the middle of the ring. Show picks RVD up with a vertical suplex, holds it for several seconds, and drops RVD on his back. Show tags in X-Pac. X-Pac starts to work on RVD, and chokes him with his knee. X-Pac hits a series of martial arts kicks in the corner. They move out to the middle of the ring, and RVD hits a strong kick to X-Pac, and goes to the top rope! However, Shawn Michaels was there to make sure that Rob Van Dam never executed anything, pushing RVD off the top turnbuckle. RVD connects with a spin-kick to X-Pac’s face! RVD tags Bubba, X-Pac tags Big Show. Van Dam chases Shawn Michaels to the backstage area, and Brock Lesnar comes out of the set and nails a clothesline on RVD! Lesnar then hits the F-5! Back to the Ring, Big Show tags Chris Benoit, and the nWo obviously has a 5 on 4 advantage. Benoit tags Eddie, who begins to work on Bubba, but Eddie tags X-Pac, and Bubba tags Booker T! Booker T begins to pick apart X-Pac, but then X-Pac makes the tag to Kevin Nash! All hell breaks lose, as everybody is attacking each other. It seems as if Kevin Nash blew out his knee (who has been having knee problems since he return). Shawn Michaels is in the ring, and he connects with Sweet Chin Music to the face of Booker T! Big Show then hits the chokeslam, and we’ve got an nWo victory!
Winners – Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero and the New World Order!
