The Raw music video plays, the pyros explode, and we are LIVE from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Tonight, Rob Van Dam will defend the IC Title against Chris Jericho, and Shawn Michaels will give his first interview since SummerSlam! But first...Eric Bischoff Interview
-Raw GM Eric Bischoff comes to his ring carrying a briefcase and a smile. Brock Lesnar calls himself the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the world, but ever since his competitor made him exclusive to SmackDown, he has to dispute that claim. These fans deserve their own World Champion exclusive to Raw, the #1 brand in the history of sports-entertainment. Stephanie can call Undertaker the #1 Contender if she wants, and he can fight Brock Lesnar at Unforgiven. That’s fine. But we know who the real #1 Contender is, don’t we? The man who showed Undertaker that it’s better to be a big fish in a small pond on SmackDown than to swim with the sharks here on Raw. Here is your #1 Contender, Triple H! The Game comes to the ring and says that Bischoff forget to say why Undertaker and Brock Lesnar had to leave the sharks. It’s all because of Triple H. Brock Lesnar knew he couldn’t hang in the ring with The Game. Hell, Lesnar shouldn’t even be able to say Triple H’s name. So when Triple H became the #1 Contender, Lesnar put his tail between his legs and ran. It turns out the Next Big Thing has no balls. Bischoff says that’s what he loves about Triple H: he tells it like it is. If Bischoff could have signed Triple H way back when, the outcome of the Monday Night Wars would have been different. His accolades are tremendous, and they’re about to get even bigger tonight. Bischoff opens his briefcase and takes out the old WCW Heavyweight Title and reminds us that Triple H was the last man to wear that Title belt. And now, Triple H is once again the Heavyweight Champion of the World! Triple H accepts the belt and celebrates. He says that Bischoff is a good judge of talent, and definately a better judge than his ex-wife. And as your new World Champion... WHOO! Ric Flair comes to the ring and says that he agrees that if Lesnar is only going to fight on SmackDown then his Title is certainly disputed. He agrees that if Raw is indeed the best company there is, it deserves its own World Title. He might even go so far to say that Triple H is the man who should wear it. But Triple H has worn that belt once; Flair has worn it sixteen times. And he didn’t have it gift-wrapped and handed to him. He earned it by busting his ass in this ring. So if Triple H wants the right to wear that belt, he should have to leave this building having won it. Bischoff says that for the first time, he and Flair completely agree. But unlike SmackDown, they don’t need some “series” to do it. Tonight, for the first time ever, Triple H will take on Ric Flair for the World Title! Triple H thinks it is an honor and a priviledge to face Flair. Flair says he is the luckiest man alive to be the first contender. Flair reaches out to shake hands, but Trips instead shakes with Bischoff. Bischoff wishes Triple H good luck, and tells Flair that 17 could be right around the corner. Bischoff and Flair shake hands, allowing Triple H to suckerpunch Flair to the mat. Fade Out.In the back, Triple H shakes hands with some of the guys, but bumbs into BuhBuh as he walks the halls. He claims that BuhBuh is jealous of him. When you're as good as The Game, you get used to seeing jealous expressions in the halls. But unlike Brock Lesnar, he is going to give everyone a chance. So if BuhBuh stands in line, he'll get his shot. BuhBuh stops Trips and says that it isn't the look of jealousy, but of hunger. He has the hunger that every guy in this arena has. The hunger and drive that sustains him, with the knowledge that if he works hard enough, he can stand as the World Champion. And if Triple H doesn't stop giving everyone that smug look, a guy like BuhBuh might come and smack it off.
Chris Nowinski & Molly Holly vs. Bubba Ray Dudley & Trish Stratus
-In the arena, the competitors take their places for the first-ever Intergender Tag Tables Match. Remember, to win, you must put both of the opposing wrestlers through tables. Earlier tonight, Nowinski said that after he and Molly take out BuhBuh and Trish and bust them through tables, he's going to bust through something else. And by something else, he of course means Molly's hymen. In the arena, BuhBuh and Nowinski start off, with BuhBuh clotheslining Nowinski down, then spearing him and hitting some mounted punches. Nowinski hits a dropkick and some clubs to the back. Tag to Molly. BuhBuh kicks Nowinski away, but Molly tries to suplex BuhBuh. BuhBuh stops her and tries to dance with her, then pulls down her pants to reveal "granny panties." Tag to Trish. Trish beats Molly down, then slaps Nowinski. Molly whips Trish into the ropes and Nowinski pulls her down. Molly smashes Trish's face into the mat, then hits a swinging neckbreaker. Tag to Nowinski. Nowinski slams Trish down and tags Molly back in. Trish hits a quick neckbreaker and both women go down. Tag to BuhBuh and Nowinski. Clothesline by BuhBuh, then another, then a back bodydrop, then a flapjack. BuhBuh pulls Molly into the ring, allowing Trish to Spear her. BuhBuh tosses Nowinski into the corner, then Molly into him. BuhBuh splashes the two of them in the corner, causing Nowinski's face to fall into Molly's groin. Nowinski smiles, but BuhBuh takes him down and Trish hits the Wassup Headbutt. BuhBuh calls for the tables and he and Trish set one up. Nowinski clotheslines BuhBuh down and Molly hits Trish with the Molly-Go-Round. On the outside, Molly sets Trish on a table and then goes up top. BuhBuh pulls Molly off the turnbuckles, but then Nowinski pulls BuhBuh off the top. Nowinski goes up top and swan dives off, but Trish rolls away and Nowinski smashes through the table. Inside, Molly whips Trish into the corner and goes up top, but Trish hurricanranas her off. BuhBuh comes in and powerbombs Molly through the table for the win! Fade Out.The Coach says that even though the Tag Titles aren't on the line in their handicap match against Kane, Christian and Storm have something else on the line: pride. Christian laughs about an American talking about pride. They were all set to burn the flag when Kane ruined everything. And they'll take great pride in beating Kane. Storm says that they're not the bad guys; they point out flaws in the system so it can change. Take Labor Day: a celebration of labor, performed by the fattest, laziest people in the world. How do you think a kid overseas working for 40 cents an hour to make our sneakers feels? Test comes up and says that after they beat the Big Red Loser, they can finish what they started last night.
In the back, Bischoff has Stacy and Terri in his office, both in robes. He thanks them for agreeing to be part of history tonight: Eric Bischoff's First-Ever Lingerie and Pillow Fight Match! Bischoff says that if this was about "assets" Stacy would win, but if it were about "pillows" Terri would be the winner. And that's what makes this so great. Stacy gets upset and says that at least her pillows are 100% natural.
In the back, Jericho comes up on Flair and wonders what the hell Bischoff was thinking when he gave the first Title shot to an over-the-hill has-been. Flair says Bischoff was probably watching when this has-been made Jericho tap out to the Figure Four. Jericho says that now that he thinks about it, he hopes Flair does win tonight. Because he and Flair are going to have a rematch, and if Flair wins tonight, then after Jericho beats the hell out of him, that Title belt will be around Jericho's waist. Fade Out.
William Regal vs. Booker T
-Regal starts with an uppercut, but Booker comes back with punches to the face and a clothesline. Knees and elbows by Booker, then a scoop slam and mounted punches. Regal hits elbow after elbow, then ducks a jumping calf kick. With Booker caught on the ropes, Regal knees him over the top. Regal brings Booker back in and wrenches the shoulders back. Booker reverses the hold, but Regal knees him in the gut. Booker leapfrogs Regal and rolls him up 1-kickout. Booker hits the jumping calf kick 1-2-kickout. After a quick two-count, Regal hits a few uppercuts and ducks a spin kick, only to run into another. Kick to the gut by Booker, followed with the scissors kick 1-2-3! Booker gets on the mic and says that he's not done until he gives everyone what they came to see: the Spinaroonie. With that, Booker delivers a perfect Spinaroonie. Fade Out.Shawn Michaels Interview
-Before the interview, we see clips of the Michaels vs. Triple H match at SummerSlam. JR sees that Shawn is in a wheelchair and asks what his condition is. Michaels says he's not a doctor so he can't say for sure. He knows that he has feelings in his legs, but his mobility isn't what it was before the match. But he's going to work and do the rehab and eventually he'll be back and able to walk again. Lawler asks if that still makes the match worth it. Michaels says he's thought about that this week and he had to ask himself if the match was good enough to fufill him and would it be good enough for the fans to remember him as the ShowStopper. Having seen it again on tape, he knows that it was worth it. He thanks God for giving him the opportunity to perform one last time. He reminds himself that it wasn't the match that put him in the chair; it was Triple H hitting him with a sledgehammer after the match. JR asks if Shawn has anything to say to Triple H. Michaels says that if anyone in the WWE knows him, it is Triple H, or at least he thought that. Apparently Hunter has forgotten, so to remind him, he says that you shouldn't hunt what you can't kill, and reminds Triple H that what goes around, comes around. With this he picks up a sledgehammer of his own and says this is definately going to come around again. Fade Out.Triple H vs. Ric Flair
-The two men lock up, and Flair takes Triple H down. Flair does a little strutting as The Game looks on in disbelief. They lock up again, and again Flair takes Trips down. Flair goes for a front facelock, but Trips gets out and elbows Flair in the gut. Flair comes back with a chop to the chest that causes Triple H to leave the ring in pain. The Game comes back in and shoulder blocks Flair, only to be hiptossed by Flair. Ric wrenches the arm, then the wrist. Triple H gets to his feet, but Flair chops him again. More chops by Flair, but Trips knocks him down with a right hand. Punches in the corner by Trips, but Flair battles out with chops, only to run into a spinebuster. Pedigree to Flair 1-2-3! Jericho runs in as Triple H celebrates and knocks Flair down. Jericho locks in the Walls on Flair as Triple H looks on from the ramp. Rob Van Dam runs down the ramp, pushing Triple H out of the way and gets in the ring. RVD beats Jericho out of the ring, but Triple H comes back in anger, only for RVD to kick him out of the ring as well! Fade Out.In the back, Bischoff tells Show to calm down and trust him. Show says that he's not going to trust Bischoff, after Bischoff got him attacked by Rosie and Jamal. And he's not going to clam down, after Bischoff went out and just gave a Title to Triple H. If Bischoff wants to be on Show's good side, he can give him the #1 Contender slot. Bischoff says that if Show wants that spot, he has to impress him in the match against Tommy Dreamer tonight. Show leaves and Bischoff's phone rings. Bischoff is pissed off to hear that a member of Raw is going to leave tonight and go to SmackDown to join a family member.
Christian & Lance Storm vs. Kane

He knows that it's Jeff that is going to take care of his beef with his brother, but a little notice would have been nice. Like, three minutes notice. Rosie and Jamal hit the ring and take out Jeff. As one goes up top, Bischoff says that this is what will happen whenever anyone wants to leave Raw. Flying splash to Jeff.
