* WWE Smackdown! Came to us from Tupelo, Mississippi on a special night where Hulk Hogan was to announce his WWE retirement. The show began with Lance Storm vs. Triple H. Before the match Storm came out and began to talk about HHH. He calls HHH a barbaric and blood thirsty animal.

* Lance Storm vs. Triple H
Storm then rushes the ring and the match commences. HHH hits Storm with a high knee. The crowd cheers for HHH as he tosses Storm out of the ring. Storm knocks HHH to the ground and takes control of the match. He begins to work on the injured forehead of HHH. Storm attempts a pin but HHH kicks out and Storm continues to dominate the match. HHH slowly begins to battle back and hits a neck-breaker on Storm. HHH goes for the pin but Storm kicks out. Storm whips HHH into the ropes and kicks him in the chin. He then locks in the half-Boston crab on HHH. HHH is able to grab the ropes. Storm kicks HHH in the chin once more and he is knocked to the ground. Storm gets on the top rope but HHH throws the ref into the ropes to knock Storm off. Triple H hits the Pedigree on Storm and covers him for the pin-fall and the victory.

* Backstage Christian and Angle are talking. Angle tells Christian to touch his gold medals. Angle talks about being brave and how much courage it will take for him to go and face the crowd. Christian tells him to look on the bright side - at least the people wont be shouting "You Suck!", instead he says they will say "You’re Bald!." Christian begins the chant and the crowd joins in. Angle gives Christian a disapproving look. Angle’s head is not shown.

* Stacey and Test are talking in the back. Stacey tells Test that she needs a favor from him. Test asks what it is. Stacey explains that Vince is jealous Randy Orton because he is so young. Stacey tells Tests she wants him to take care of Orton. Test agrees. Test the grabs Stacey and kisses her. Test leaves and Stacey looks perplexed. Angle’s music sounds in the background.

* The crowd in Tupelo shouts a combination of "You suck!" and "You’re bald!" during Angle’s music. Angle does not appear. The music starts over and the announcer announces him and finally he comes out. He is wearing a wig which stays attached with head gear. Angle says that even more amazing than winning a gold medal with a broken neck is how fast his hair grew back with new hair supplements. He apologizes to the crowd for disappointing them by not being bald, but there is always Hulk Hogan for that. Angle says that Edge’s victory was a fluke and he will not be the object of ridicule for the crowd. Maven comes out. He says there is no shame in being bald. He says it’s not that bad and it might actually make Angle look better. Maven says Angle should do himself a favor and take of the Elton John wig and that his fans will not laugh at him. Maven asks the people if they want to see Angle’s bald head. Angle asks if he knows Maven. He says he remembers that he was the one that won the contact from the MTV show. Angle asks Maven if he knows who he is talking to. He tells Maven if he wants to take the wig off, that Maven can come down and try and take it off. Maven comes down to the ring and Angle beats on him. Maven drop kicks Angle and tries to pull of the wig. Angle gets out of the ring and Edge comes down to try and remove the wig. The two men struggle for a while until Christian comes down and saves Angle.

* Test vs. Randy Orton
Stacey joins the announcers at ring side to commentate on the Test and Randy Orton match. She dances provocatively on the table. Test offers to shake Orton’s hand then begins to hammer away at Orton. Test kicks Orton and throws him out of the ring. Orton gets back and drop kicks Test. Test slams Orton, and doesn’t complete the pin. Test goes to kick Orton and gets hung up in the top rope. Orton takes advantage. Orton close-lines Test. Orton gets on the top rope but test tries to knock him off. Orton gets back up and hits a cross body on Test. Orton reverses a pump handle slam and goes for a pin, but Test kicks out. Test attempts a full nelson slam, but Orton turns it into a pin. Test kicks out. Test ends up finally getting the pin.

* Interview with Undertaker.
Undertaker interrupts the interviewer, he says that he said that he would be the judge, jury, and executioner of Hogan. Taker says not only did he say that but then he did it. Taker says he is Undisputed Champion, and is the best in the world. He says he is alone at the top of the ladder, he is the man to beat. He and says that many want it, but to have it means that they have to step into his yard and take it from him. He goes on to say he doesn’t see anyone ready for the challenge. The interviewer brings up the RVD match on Raw. He asks for comments on the footage of him assaulting RVD. Undertaker asks for his point, he says Ric Flair said the match wasn't over so it continued, and he won. Taker came to watch Hogan retire and see the death of Hulkamania.

* Backstage, Rico looks at his Tag Team Title belt. Chuck and Billy enter and asks what is going on. They bring up Judgment Day. Rico says he knows his belt is just a fluke and it kills him to wear it because it doesn’t go with any of his clothes. He says Billy and Chuck deserve to be the champions, Rico says he will make it up to them. They all hug.

* Jericho walks around backstage and runs into Faarooq. Faarooq asks Jericho if he is drunk or high. Jericho says that he is neither, but that he had the beating of a life time at the Hell in a Cell, that he’s got bruises and stitches and no desire to fight this night. He says he wants APA protection. Faarooq wont help him out. Mark Henry comes out and says its a shame that Jericho’s face will have to be busted up by him.

* Edge and Maven vs. Christian and Kurt Angle
Up next was the Edge and Maven vs. Christian and Angle tag team match-up. Angle comes out with his wig and head gear on and the crowd chants a combo of "You Suck!" and "You’re bald!". Edge and Angle start the match. Edge takes control. Edge goes for Angle’s head gear but Angle tags in Christian. Edge slams Christian face first. Edge tags in Maven. Maven heel kicks Christian. All the sudden we are cut to a shot of Torrie with someone watching the match in the back. Christian and Maven continue to go at it. Angle is tagged in, he throws Maven down and adjusts his hair. Maven hits Angle with a low blow. Both men make tags. Edge and Christian go at it. Edge throws around Christian and Angle. Maven is tagged in. All four guys get in the ring. Angle hits the Angle-slam on Edge. Maven hits a DDT on Angle. Maven drop kicks Christian from the top rope. Edge face-plants Angle. Edge spears Christian but Angle throws Edge over the top rope. Christian attempts the Unprettier but Maven rolls him up while Angle and Edge are out of the ring.

* Reverend D-Von vs. Rikishi
D-Von and Deacon Bautista come out to the ring. One half of the WWE tag team champions, Rikishi also comes out for the next match which is D-Von and Rikishi. D-Von says what Rikishi is wearing is disgusting and distasteful and he needs to put clothes on. Rikishi hits D-Von. Rico comes out. Rikishi slams D-Von. Rikishi hits D-Von’s face on the turn buckle. D-Von takes control. Billy and Chuck come out as well. D-Von tries to do a vertical suplex, Rikishi picks up D-Von but Bautista hits Rikishi. D-Von and Rikishi trade hits back and forth. Rikishi kicks D-Von in the chin. Rikishi knocks down Bautista. Rikishi sets up for the stink face but Rico stops it by hitting him with the tag team title belt. D-Von pins Rikishi. Bautista assaults Rikishi after the match is over. Rico gets in the ring and insults Rikishi. Billy and Chuck are amused.

* Chavo Guerrero is watching the movie of Austin being attacked but Eddie Guerrero. Reporter Gregory Helms enters and talks to Chavo about the notes that Hurricane has been finding. Chavo says he doesn’t need to leave any notes, that he is going to beat Hurricane in their match and take the title. Helms smells some thing and opens a locker. He finds a note to Hurricane which says "I’m not tall, I’m not fat but I left you a clue." It was beef jerky?

* Backstage and interview with HHH took place. Marc Lloyd said he was amazed by the Hell in a Cell and by HHH then coming and winning his match tonight. HHH says there are no winners in a Hell in the Cell, just survivors. HHH says Lance Storm found out that HHH is the Game. He says his focus is not Storm or Jericho, but on becoming the Undisputed Champion again. Storm says that Triple H got lucky, but the lucks running out. Test comes up and kicks HHH in the face.

* Cruiser Weight Title Match - Chavo Guerrero Jr. vs. Hurricane
The next match was for the Cruiser Weight title, Hurricane vs. Chavo Guerrero. Chavo is not received well by the fans. In fact there was no reaction whatsoever. Hurricane takes control of the match early. Then is thrown into the turn buckle by Chavo. Chavo tries to pin Hurricane but Hurricane kicks out. Hurricane begins to battle back by building some momentum. Chavo drops Hurricane on his head and goes for the pin, but Hurricane kicks out . Hurricane attempts the choke-slam but Chavo gets out of it. Hurricane nails Chavo with the Overcast and pins him for the victory.

* Backstage, Vince and Stacey are talking. Stacey says the kiss between her and Test meant nothing and she was just fooling around by dancing on the announce table. Vince says he can’t be made angry tonight because history will be made when Hogan retires. Vince compares it to the President's State of the Union Address. Jericho busts in and asks why he has a match after the brutal hell in a cell. Vince says this is an opportunity for Jericho. He asks if Jericho can beat the Worlds Strongest Man.

* Chris Jericho vs. Mark Henry
This was the last match of the evening. Jericho and Henry lock up but Henry pushes him into the ropes. Henry busted open Jericho’s wounds fro Hell in the Cell. Henry takes it to Jericho in the corner and literally throws Jericho across the ring. Jericho drop kicks henrys face. Henry kicks Jericho down. Jericho kicks Henry with a boot to the face. Henry military presses Jericho well over head and finally throws him to the ground. Henry and Jericho get out of the ring. Jericho tries to hit Henry with a chair. Henry tosses him back in the ring and gets a chair. the ref takes the chair. Jericho takes his chair an whacks Henry in the back with it. He throws it out of the ring and Jericho picks up the pin on the World’s Strongest Man, Mark Henry.

* Next up was Hogan’s farewell address to the crowd. Hogan comes out to the ring a huge ovations like usual. He poses a bunch of times and rips of his shirt. He takes off his sunglasses and surveys the audience. Hogan became very emotional as the crowd began to chant his name. Hogan says there is no doubt that he loves the crowd. He says he was born Terry Bollea in Augusta, Georiga but was raised in Tampa, Florida. He was a son of working class people, then one day 20 years ago he got into this business. Hogan says he had the honor and the privilege to perform in front of Hulkamaniacs. He says he had a blast the last 20 years-the time of his life. The crowd beings to chant "Hogan! Hogan!" again. He thanks them. But says he regrets that is father isn’t alive to see him with his Hulkamaniacs. Hogan says around Christmas his father had a stroke, and he didn’t show emotion except when WWE was on TV. He says that before his dad died, he told him to go back to wrestling to straighten out his career, and that he needs to go back home to the WWF. Hogan says that he is here and he couldn’t have done it without all of the fans. And once again he thanks them. He thanks them for believing in him and thanks them for making him what he is today. Hogan says there is something else, he must also thank them for helping him take the biggest step on his professional career. He says there comes a time in every mans life when he has to step down. He quotes Kenny Rogers, "know when to hold ‘em and know when to fold ‘em." He thanks the crowd again for believing in him and in Hulkamania and for the memories. Before he leaves the arena for the last time, he has one hope and one dream, that Hulkamania will be immortal and live forever. His music sounds and he begins to leave after posing in the ring once more.

* Vince McMahon comes out and the crowd boos him. Hogan stays in the ring. Vince mocks him by saying "say it ain’t so" and "the sky is falling down, the world is coming to an end because Hogan is announcing his retirement." Vince asks where Hogan is making this important announcement, in the "rectum of Mississippi". Vince says he knew Hogan would pull a stunt like this. Vince says that there is no chance in hell that Hogan is retiring tonight or any night. Vince says that ten years ago Hogan walked out on him. Vince says if he walks out on him, he will use Hogan's contract to sue him for everything that he and his family has got. Vince says the only way he can leave his company in when his body is decomposing in a pine box. Vince says he created Hulk Hogan and owns Hulkamania and he intend to milk Hulkamania for every cent he can, until the day Hogan dies. Hogan says one day he will retire but it wont be until he kicks Vince's ass. Hogan hits Vince and takes off his belt and beats him with it. Undertaker comes out and ambushes Hogan. Taker continues to beat on Hogan. Hogan battles back and knocks Taker over the top rope. Hogan celebrates in the ring by posing from the crowd. Vince shouts from the ramp that Hulkamania will die on his terms and the Michael Cole commentates it may, "but not tonight!"
