* This weeks Smackdown! came to us from Calgary, Alberta. It began with a replay of Hogan’s "farewell address" to the viewers and Vince McMahon ruining it by coming out. Vince says he won’t let Hogan retire.. and so on...you know what happened, you watched last week or at least read the report.

* Billy and Chuck vs. Rikishi and Rico for the Tag Team Titles
-The first match of the night was for Tag Team Championship. Rikishi came out alone and then was followed by Rico. Right away Rico threw Billy out of the ring. Billy and Chuck soon took over the match. Rikishi double close lined Billy and Chuck but Rico kicked Rikishi from behind. Rikishi tried to cover chuck but Rico broke it up. Rico fell on Chuck and picked up the pin. Billy and Chuck confront Rico in the ring. Rikishi celebrates outside the ring with his little dance.

* Backstage Hogan enters the arena.

* Backstage Maven and Torrie kiss as she wishes him good luck in his match. Tajiri was hiding behind a door watching through a window.

* Christian vs. Maven
-The next match of the evening was Christian vs. Maven. Christian goes to work on Maven right away. Maven takes over by tossing him over the top rope. Maven jumped over the top rope on top of Christian. Christian hit a back breaker on Maven. Christian uses a blatant chokehold on Maven instead of going for the pin. Maven gets out of it. Christian gets maven on the tope rope. He tosses Christian off and tries for the pin. Tajiri comes in and kicks Maven in the head. Christian capitalizes on the situation by using the Unprettier on Maven and picked up the pin.

* Backstage Vince is on the phone. He talks about Chris Benoit on Raw. Vince said since Benoit was inactive he could be on any show he wants even though he was drafted by Smackdown. In the middle of the conversation Dawn Marie comes in. Vince asks who she is. She says she is a paralegal from law firm and has some papers she wants him to look over. She says she was sorry for bothering but had to because Stacey wasn't there. Vince says she's at MTV’s Tough Enough finale. Vince tells the woman to sit down and asks to et to know her. Jericho interrupts Vince and the woman. Jericho complains about his match with Faarooq. He says he is still hurt from the hell in a cell match. Vince says he knows Jericho is tougher than Triple H and can beat Faarooq tonight since Triple H has a match as well.

* Chris Jericho vs. Faarooq
-The next match was Jericho vs. Faarooq. Faarooq knew Jericho was not 100 percent and began the match by taking it to Y2J. The two men took it out of the ring. Faarooq smashed Jericho's face in to the announce table. Jericho rolled back into the ring. Faarooq beat on Jericho in the ring and tried for a pin but Jericho kicked out. Faarooq got on the top rope for a drop kick but Jericho countered. He began to attack Faarooq with elbows to his abdomen. Jericho choked Faarooq on the ropes. Jericho removed the pad on the turnbuckle exposing the metal. Faarooq pins Jericho but he kicks out. Jericho hits a bulldog on Faarooq and attempts to hit a lionsault on Faarooq but Faarooq moved. Faarooq hit a spine buster on Jericho. Faarooq pin him but Jericho kicks out. Jericho throws Faarooq into the exposed turnbuckle and pins him for the victory. After the match Jericho exclaims that he is the king of the world.

* Backstage D-Von is approached by Lance Strom. They go into a shower room so Storm can use it a a confessional room. Storm says he has sinned. He says his sin is worse than adultery and worse than being American. He says his terrible sin is being western-Canadian. D-Von exclaims that this is horrible. He forgives him, and says that the D-Von Building Fund needs a donation. Storm puts money in the Deacon’s box.

* Next was an interview with Hogan. The crowd began to chant in the background and as usual Hogan looked astonished. The interviewer said last Thursday had to be emotion for him. Hogan said it was a turning point in his life. He said as he poured his heart out he didn't know how the fans would react. He said he wanted to bow out gracefully. Bu then Vince came out and thought he owned Hogan because he had a contract. Hogan says Vince can stick the contract where the sun doesn’t shine. Hogan says he will retire but not yet. He says he has new priorities set now because he wants a one on one confrontation with Vince in the ring. He says it means more to him than the Undisputed Title. Vince comes up and asks what Hogan is going to do. Angle comes from nowhere and assaults Hogan from behind with a pipe and hogan rolls on the floor.

* Randy Orton vs. The Undertaker for the Undisputed Title
-The next match was the Undisputed Champion match undertaker vs. Randy Orton. Taker gets on the mic to explain why he is giving Orton a chance at the title. He says as the champ its his duty to show how the WWE is the land of opportunity. He says tonight a 3rd generation wrestler, a hell of an athlete, and nice guy will get a shot at the title. He says he couldn't think of a better place full of history and tradition. He calls Calgary the Championship City of the world. He asks what better place to defend the title than Calgary. Randy Orton comes out. The match begins with Taker extending his hand. He and Orton shake. They lock up in the ring and Taker throws him down. Orton gets a side headlock on the Undertaker. Taker throws him into the ropes. Taker gets hip tossed by Orton. Orton begins to take control of the match. He throws Taker out of the ring and jumps on him from the top rope. Taker kicks him but Orton counters and rolls him up. Taker kicks out and clothes-lines Orton. Taker then drops an elbow on Orton. He exposes the turnbuckle and beats on Orton in the corner of the ring. Orton throws him to the ropes and drop kicks him.. Undertaker hits a DDT on Orton. Undertaker pins Orton but ends the pin to continue the fight. Orton whips him into the exposed turn buckle. Orton slams taker down. Taker whips Orton and takes control. Taker covers but Orton kicks out. Orton grabs Taker from behind to try to roll him up. Taker pins Orton. After the match Taker throws him out of the ring and gets a chair. Taker puts the chair around Orton’s head but Triple H comes out and begins to take it to the Undertaker. HHH slams Taker face first into the announce table and then into the ring steps. HHH threw him into the ring. Undertaker fought back, but HHH threw Taker over the tope rope and grabs the mic. He says He wants the opportunity for the Championship. HHH says he guarantees that if Taker gave him the chance, Taker wouldn't leave with the title. He then threw the belt at him.

* Hurricane and Billy Kidman vs. Tajiri and Chavo Guerrero Jr.
-The next match was a tag team match which featured The WWE Cruiserweight Champion Hurricane and Billy Kidman vs. Tajiri and Chavo Guerrero. Hurricane and Tajiri started the match off. Tajiri kicked Hurricane in the ribs. Hurricane put some sort of submission on Tajiri and hit Tajiri’s head on the bottom turnbuckle. Hurricane goes for a pin. Tajiri kicks out. Hurricane tags in Kidman . Tajiri holds Kidman and tags in Chavo, who jumps on Kidman from the top rope. Tajiri locks in a tarantula on Kidman and Chavo kicks Kidman in the face. Kidman counters a move by Tajiri and tags in Hurricane. Hurricane takes down Tajiri from the top rope and goes for a pin but Chavo breaks it up. Tajiri attempted a tarantula but Hurricane counters and throws him over the ropes and jumps after him. Kidman then jumps over the ropes and takes out Chavo and Tajiri. Hurricane was about to go for choke-slam on Tajiri. Hurricane’s music sounds and on the screen is a message for him which said "You're wondering who I am, well this is just a peek, the mystery will be over, when I reveal myself next week." Also was a photo of Hurricane with some woman. The woman’s head and body was ripped off in the photo. Hurricane was distracted long enough for Tajiri to kick him in the face and cover him for the pin-fall.

* Triple H vs. Test
-HHH and test exchange blows. HHH kicks Test into the turnbuckle. HHH throws Test down and chokes him. Test is out of the ring and Triple H follows. HHH hammers away at Test until Test reverses by slamming HHH’s head into the announce table. Triple H throws Test around outside of the ring. Finally he tosses Test back into the ring. Lance Storm comes down the ramp. HHH is distracted and Test takes advantage. Test knees and elbows Triple H in the corner of the ring. The Game battles back but is whipped into the ropes by Test. HHH falls to the ground. Test picks him up and throws him into the turnbuckle. HHH moves out of the way as Test runs towards him. Test hits Triple H with a sidewalk slam. Triple H gets out of the ring. Storm laid out HHH with a kick to HHH’s chin. Test gets HHH back into the ring and goes for a pin but HHH gets his foot on the rope. Test moves him and tries to pin HHH again. HHH hits test with a knee to the chin. HHH hits a spine buster on Test. After whipping Test into the ropes Triple H goes for the pin but Storm distracts the ref. Test slams HHH down and covers for a pin but HHH kicked out. Test tries to set up HHH for the big boot. The Game sets up for a pedigree but Storm is on the top rope. Storm jumps on Test. Taker comes out and distracts HHH so Test can kick him with the big boot. Test covers for the pin and the victory. Taker gets in the ring with the Game. He beats on HHH in the corner of the ring. Taker choke-slams HHH then leaves the ring. Taker grabs a chair. Triple H tries to crawl away, but Taker hits him in the head with the chair. Taker than continues to beat HHH with the chair. A whole bunch of refs come out to stop Taker. The officials get the Game out of the ring but Undertaker continues to assault HHH with the chair. Finally Taker throws the chair down and leaves the area.

* Backstage The Big Valbowski approaches Edge and asks him to promise that he will take off Angle’s wig. Edge says that he will and everyone will see Angle bald and ugly. Edge says at the match Angle will be alone and will have no where to run. Valbowski says he’d wish Edge luck but luck is for losers.

* In an interview with Angle the interviewer asks what Angle thinks about what Edge just said. Angle says when he looks into the mirror he sees a head of natural beautiful hair. The interviewer says they have footage of his head being shaved. They begin to play the clip but Angle says he never wants to see the footage again. Angle says Edge tried to embarrass him, humiliate him, and disgrace him. Angle says Edge doesn't have anywhere to run in the steel cage either. Angle says he’s going to do something to Edge that Edge could not do to him, embarrass him, humiliate him and disgrace him in front of his home country.

* Kurt Angle vs. Edge in a Steel Cage Match
-Angle was the first to arrive to the cage. Edge and Angle stared each other down in the ring until the bell sounded. The two maneuvered around the ring until Edge used a drop toe hold on Angle. Angle hit Edge in the face a few times and whipped him across the ring and slammed Angle down. Edge Kicked Angle down. Edge hip tossed Angle into the cage. Edge went for a spear but missed. Angle took over and beat Edge in the corner. Angle suplexed Edge and went for a pin. Edge kicked out. Edge suplexed Angle and attempted to climb out of the cage. Edge jumped off the top rope on to Angle. Angle hit a series of German-suplexes on Edge. Angle goes for the pin but Edge kicks out. Angle tries to open the door. Edge gets kicked a few times. Angle throws Edge into the steel cage three times. Edge laid face down in the middle of the ring. Angle begins to assault him by beating Edge’s face. Angle puts Edge into a submission but Edge gets out. Angle throws Edge down but he counters by catapulting Angle into the steel cage. Edge goes for the pin but Angle kicks out. Both men struggle to get up. Edge whips Angle into the ropes and drops him. Angle gets slammed face first by Edge and Edge goes for the pin but Angle kicks out. Edge knocks out the ref. Angle throws Edge down again. Angle tries to climb out of the cage. Edge stops him by attempting a back-suplex from the top rope. Edge gets up and tries to climb out the cage. Edge is almost over but Angle hits a low blow on Edge. Angle does and Angle slam on Edge from the top rope. Angle gets up and tries to climb over the cage. Angle gets out of the cage successfully. Hogan comes out and slams Angle’s face into the cage three times. Hogan opens up the cage door and leads Angle back into the cage and then Hogan shuts the door. Hogan yells to edge.

---Commercial Break---

During the break Edge hit a spear and covered for the pin but Angle kicked out. Edge went for another pin but Angle kicked out. Angle gets the Angle Lock on Edge. Edge countered by kicking Angle into the cage. Edge gets his own Angle Lock on Angle. Angle breaks the hold and Edge gets his leg caught on the middle rope. Angle tries to climb out of the cage but Edge grabs him and hits his head on the top of the cage. Angle fell crotch first on to the steel cage door. Edge pulled Angle back into the cage. Edge stays on the top rope after throwing Angle into the ring. Edge hits a spear from the top rope on Angle and covers him for the pin. Hogan then gets into cage with Angle. Hogan motions that he is going to pull of the wig. But Angle gets out of the Cage. Edge and Hogan pose in the cage as Smackdown ends.
