* I hope no one was too disappointed that I was unable to write the Smackdown report last week. Well lucky for you all I am back! Anyways....time for the report...

* Smackdown came to us from Chicago, Illinois! Vince was in the ring an introduced the man who made Hogan tap out, Kurt Angle. The crowd began "you suck" chants. Angle began speaking to the fans. He said was the poster boy for ruthless aggression because he made Hogan tap out. Angle said no matter what he accomplishes, he still has to deal with the fans being unappreciative. He said the fans suck for mocking him.. Then Angle took off his wig and showed his bald head. He said the fans couldn’t ruin his good mood. He said he wanted to teach someone what his aggression is all about. Angle challenged anyone that he hadn't wrestled before to come down to the ring so he could make them tap out. Angle said that this was a great opportunity for a future superstar to wrestle a real superstar like himself. Angle kept asking for someone to come out when all of the sudden someone's music hit and some guy made his way to the ring. Angle asked who he was, and the guy said his name was John Cena. Cole and Tazz said that they had heard about Cena in a WWE developmental program. Angle asked Cena what made him think he could come out to the ring and face him. Cena responded by saying, "Ruthless aggression!" Then he attacked the Angle. The two began an unscheduled match. Cena lead the match for a while. Angle finally was able to get Cena in the ankle lock, but Cena escaped. Cena did his best against Angle, getting a whole bunch of 2 counts. Angle finally got the win, Cena extended his hand for a handshake, but Angle laughed at Cena before leaving the ring.

* Backstage Rikishi, Faarooq and Billy Kidman congratulates the new guy John Cena on a good match. Taker comes up to Cena. Taker stares at him and asks his name, he replies that he is John Cena. Taker takes off his sunglasses and continues starring. Taker then shakes Cena’s hand and tells him he did a nice job.

* Billy and Chuck vs. Hardcore Holly and Valbowski WWE Tag Team Championship Match
Billy and Chuck come out to the ring next to take on Hardcore Holly and Big Valbowski in a match for the tag team titles. Holly and Chuck start off the match. Holly knocks down Chuck. Chuck leaps over Holly twice after being flung into ropes. Val gets tagged in and takes it to Chuck. Val gets thrown into the turn buckle and kicks Chuck in the face. Chuck knocks down Val and hits him with a right hand. Val elbows Chuck, then hits him with a knee drop and goes for the cover. He gets a 2 count. Val elbows Chuck again and then tags in Holly. Billy drop kicks Hardcore then Chuck throws Holly into the corner. Rico coaches from sidelines. The ref holds Val back as Billy beats up Hardcore outside the ring. Billy gets in and blatant chokeholds Holly. Billy tags in Chuck. Holly whips Chuck in the ropes. Val and Billy both tag in. Val takes down Billy twice then knocks him down again with his shoulder. Val then flips Billy over the ropes. He delivers a spine buster to Chuck. Billy gets back but gets knocked down. Rico gets in the ring but Holly hits him with the Alabama Slam. Billy hits Val and Chuck covers for the pin. Billy and Chuck retain the titles.

* Backstage Torrie Wilson is primping in a mirror.

* Next was a preview of Saturday nights Divas Undressed program. Torrie Wilson came out revealing her undergarments

* In a segment tapped earlier Nidia and Jamie Noble are backstage talking to Tajiri about Nidia. Nidia kiss Tajiri upon Jamie Noble‘s request. Then Jamie says there will be more if he and Nidia win tonight.

* A replay of last month when taker beat Triple Hs elbow causing his injury that will keep him out of the ring for 3 to 4 weeks.

* Backstage, Hollywood Hogan enters the building.

* Lance Storm vs. Mark Henry
As we return to Smackdown Lance Storm is entering the ring to a not very loving ovation from the people of Chicago. In a segment tapped earlier, Storm says on behalf of the citizens of Canada he vows that he as a Canadian will beat an American in a match tonight. Mark Henry’s music sounds and he enters the ring. They cut to a clip of Henry picking up some sort of weight that is extremely difficult to pick up. The match begins with Storm being tossed around by Henry. Henry twist Storm’s arm. Henry flings Storm to the ground. Henry picks up Storm and puts him on the turnbuckle and hits him so hard it knocks him off the turnbuckle. Henry then heaves Storm back in the ring. Storm hits Henry with a thumb to the eye. Henry takes back control and tosses Storm around. Henry bear hugs Storm. Storm gets out of it. Storm gets his shoulder rammed into the turn buckle post. Henry slams Storm down. Henry attempts to jump on Storm for the top rope but misses as Storm rolls out of the way. Storm takes advantage of the situation by drop kicking Henry from the top rope. Storm then covers Henry for the pin. Storm defeats the World’s Strongest Man. Christian comes out to congratulate Storm.

* Backstage Taker mounts his bike and starts it up.

* After the commercial break, Taker’s music plays and he rides down the ramp to the ring. He grabs a mic and starts talking. He says he is not here because he needs to get a few things straight. He says right here he is holding the WWE Undisputed Title. He says if you look close you can see his name on it, and that must mean he is the WWE Undisputed Champion. Taker says that means that no other man can lay claim to that title. He says at KotR he was destined to defend his title against HHH, one on one, Dead man inc. vs. the Game. As a result of the match HHH is laying in a hospital bed recovering from his injuries. Taker says he is digressing from the point. It was HHH vs. the Undertaker so why the hell did the Rock think he could get involved. The crowd begins a "Rocky" chant. Taker says he brought some footage from KotR. They show at KotR when the Rock comes out and Rock bottoms Taker. Taker says Rock almost cost him the title. Taker says he has good and bad news. The good news is on July 11th, VCRs need to be set because on Smackdown the Rock will return. The bad news is that on July 11th on Smackdown, Taker is going to beat the Rock down forever for interfering in Taker’s business. Taker says he is sure the Rock is working out at a gym getting ready for the return, but Taker says he hopes he can take time to watch Raw to see what Taker does to Jeff Hardy with a ladder because it will be a sample of what is going to happen to the Rock. Angle’s music sounds and he comes down to the ring with out any wig. Taker does not look amused. Angle mocks Taker saying all he does is talk. Angle says he is a man of action. Taker says Angle is a punk. Angle says his concentration won’t be broken, Taker has a match on Raw on Monday with Jeff Hardy for the Undisputed Championship. Angle asks Taker, if Taker gets passed Jeff will Taker accept Angle’s challenge for a match against him on Smackdown next week for the title. Taker says he has a motto, why put off kicking someone's ass next week when he can do it now. Angle says he just had a match and he isn’t ready now. Taker says that Angle almost got beaten by a rookie. Angle re-offers the match next week, Taker accepts saying anytime, anywhere, anyhow, its on. Angle says now that that is out of the way he wants to put the hostilities on the side, can Angle touch the title. Taker contemplates...and then asks if Angle’s never seen it, Taker hands it to him, saying feel free to hold it because that is as close as he’ll ever come to having the title. Angle knocks down Taker and gets him in the angle lock. Angle lets go and jumps out of the ring. Angle smiles while walking down the ramp.

* Torrie Wilson comes out again wearing more provocative undergarments.

* Test vs. Rikishi
The next match was Test vs. Rikishi. Rikishi goes after Test with right hands. Test turns it around but Rikishi belly to belly’s Test. Rikishi beats on Test. Test whips Rikishi into the ropes. Test hits Rikishi a few more times and the ref breaks it up. Test gets angry. Rikishi tries to kick Test but Test moves and slams Rikishi down. Test goes for the big boot but misses. Rikishi boots Test and covers for a 2 count but Test gets his shoulder up. Rikishi drags Test to the corner. He gets on the second rope and drops down but Test counters with a low blow to Rikishi with his knees. Test goes for a cover but Rikishi kicks out. Test and the ref have words again. Test gets shoved into the ref. Test comes back and slams down Rikishi and Test covers. The ref calls for a DQ on Test. Test gets up and beats on the ref. Rikishi comes back in and slams himself into Test setting him up for the stink-face. Rikishi successfully delivers the stick face to Test. Christian and Lance Storm comes out to Test’s aid.

* Backstage Hogan goes into Vince's office and finds him sitting on a couch. Hogan asks why Vince wanted to see him. Vince tells Hogan to calm down. Vince says on behalf of Hulkamaniacs all over the world he wanted to let Hogan know how upset he was to see the loss to Angle at KotR. Vince says he has never seen Hogan submit. Vince says he was looking into Hogan's eyes and thought Hogan was going to cry while in the Angle Lock. Vince says as the man responsible for making Hulkamania he would hate to see Hogan tap out to Jericho in the Walls of a Jericho. Hogan threatens Vince.

* Backstage Storm, Test and Christian are talking about everyone, well Americans being prejudice of the Canadians. Test says America likes to stick her ass in the face of everyone else. Test says that they were right, America sucks.

* Jamie Noble and Tajiri vs. Billy Kidman and the Hurricane
Next was a tag team match up, Jamie Noble and Tajiri vs. Billy Kidman and the Hurricane. Tajiri and Hurricane start off the match. Tajiri slams down Hurricane. Noble gets tagged in. Hurricane knocks Noble down. Hurricane beats Noble around in the ring. Noble slams Hurricanes face in the turnbuckle. Tajiri gets tagged in. Hurricane gives a double bull dog to Tajiri and Noble. Kidman gets tagged in. Kidman beats on Tajiri. Tajiri tries to slam Kidman into the turn buckle but Kidman counters. Tajiri hits Kidman with and elbow to the face. Noble gets in. Kidman goes for a cover but Noble kicks out. Tajiri illegally kicks Kidman. Noble and Tajiri double team Kidman. Tajiri chops at Kidman. Kidman fights back and whips Tajiri into the ropes but Tajiri locks in the tarantula. Tajiri lets it go but is in control of the match. Tajiri goes for a DDT but Kidman counters. Hurricane gets tagged in. He comes in and knocks Tajiri down. Noble gets tagged in. Hurricane pounds away at Noble. Hurricane heaves Noble over the top rope. Tajiri kicks Hurricane in the chin and goes for the pin but Hurricane kicks out. Tajiri gets choke slammed by Hurricane. Kidman hits the shooting star press on Tajiri and then covers him for the pin fall.

* Backstage Torrie Wilson is walking around in a robe. She sees Stacy in a robe getting ready to go out to the ring. Torrie says she thinks they should both go down to the ring to see who is better.

* Next Torrie Wilson comes out wearing her little free for all outfit or whatever it was called. Then Stacy comes out wearing some Catholic school girl uniform. All of the sudden Dawn Marie comes out wearing some weird looking pink sparkly thing and gets on the mic saying that she is going to prove to everyone that she is better than them on Saturdays Divas Undressed program. She starts a little fight and leaves, but Stacy and Torrie keep beating on each other until a ref comes out and separates them.

* In an interview with Chris Jericho. His thoughts are asked about his upcoming match with Hogan. Jericho says he wants to see the footage of when he changed Edge’s life forever. They play the footage from 3 weeks ago when Jericho beats Edge to a pulp. Jericho says he has choice, maybe he will put Hogan in the Walls of Jericho and make him tap, or maybe he will hit him with the lion-sault and pin him 1-2-3, or maybe he will finish off Hogan the way he finished off Edge.

* Reverend D-Von and Bautista vs. Faarooq and Randy Orton
Reverend D-Von and Bautista come out next. Bautista has wrestling tights on instead of the usual outfit. Out comes Faarooq and Randy Orton. D-Von starts the match with Orton. Orton hits an arm drag on D-Von and goes for a pin but D-Von kicks out. D-Von drop kicks Orton's chin. D-Von whips Orton in the ropes and slams into Orton's chin. D-Von beats on Orton in the turnbuckle. D-Von puts Orton on the tope rope. Orton battles out of it. Orton bulldogs D-Von. Faarooq gets tagged in. Faarooq body drops D-Von. He covers but D-Von kicks out. D-Von uses a DDT on Faarooq. D-Von slams Faarooq down. D-Von tries to hit him from the top rope. Orton cross bodies D-Von after being tagged in. Orton drop kicks D-Von and then covers but D-Von gets up. Bautista gets tagged in. Bautista close lines Orton and knocks Faarooq off he apron. Bautista slams Orton into the turn buckle he whips Orton into the ropes. Bautista grabs Orton and slams him down. Bautista covers Orton for the pin fall.

* Hulk Hogan vs. Chris Jericho
The final match of the evening featured Hogan vs. Jericho. Jericho ambushes Hogan from behind and takes control of the match early. Hogan knocks down Jericho twice. Hogan whips Jericho into the ropes. Hogan slams Jericho down. Jericho hits Hogan with an elbow. Jericho hit Hogan and then began to chop at him. Hogan whipped Jericho into the ropes. Jericho sort of twisted around them a few times. Hogan gets Jericho into a corner and hits him in the face. Jericho hits Hogan with a low blow. Hogan gets kicked in the ribs by Jericho. Jericho slams Hogan down. Then he pins him with a foot on Hogan's chest. Hogan kicks out. Jericho chokes Hogan with the ropes. Jericho jumps on Hogan from behind. Jericho pushes his foot into Hogan's throat until the ref force Jericho to stop. Hogan attempts to battle back. Jericho hits Hogan with a DDT and Jericho goes for a pin but Hogan kicks out. Jericho beats on Hogan more. Jericho locks in an abdominal stretch. Jericho uses the ropes while the ref does not look. Hogan hangs on and doesn't tap. Hogan reversed it. Jericho and Hogan exchange blows. Hogan moves out of the way as Jericho hit his shoulder on the ring post. Hogan tries to boot Jericho. Jericho counters and gets Hogan into the Walls of Jericho. Hogan counters. Hogan whips Jericho into the ropes but Jericho kicks Hogan. Jericho hits the lion-sault and covers Hogan. Hogan kicks out. Hogan begins to Hulk Up. Hogan battles Jericho with a right hand to his face. Jericho gets out of the ring and gets a chair. Jericho hits Hogan in the face with the chair. Jericho gets disqualified. Jericho rolls out of the ring and takes apart the steel ring steps. Jericho grabs Hogan and throws him out of the ring. Jericho grabs a chair and hits Hogan in the back with it. Hogan is laid out over the steel steps. Jericho stands on top of him. Jericho's music sounds and Edge comes out mocking Jericho. Jericho looks frightened. Edge clotheslines Jericho in the ring. Edge beats on Jericho and the tosses Jericho over the top rope. Jericho gets back in the ring. Edge kicks him in the face. Jericho tries to leave but Hogan is back up. Hogan grabs him and put Jericho in the ring. Edge spears Jericho. Hogan gets in the ring and raises Edge’s hand. The two men shake hands and pose in the ring as Smackdown comes to an end.
