* This week Smackdown came to us from Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania. A replay of Vince’s announcement about the General Managers on Monday’s RAW was shown. Also a clip of Eric Bischoff’s appearance on RAW, as it’s new GM, was played.

* Chris Jericho vs. John Cena
Jericho’s music sounded and he headed out to the ring first for the first match of the evening. Marc Lloyd was shown waiting outside the arena for the new GM of Smackdown. They showed Jericho’s loss to Cena from last week. Jericho started trash-talking to Cena and finally slapped Cena. Cena started on Jericho by using a spine buster then pinning for a two count. Cena kicks Jericho and Jericho flips him over the top rope and out of the ring. Jericho kicks Cena in the ribs a few times then throws him back into the ring. Jericho gets on the top rope but Cena kicked Jericho as he jumped. Cena knocks Jericho down with a forearm to Jericho's forehead. Cena suplexes Jericho and covers for a two count. Jericho goes for a clothesline, Cena counters with another suplex. Jericho goes for the Walls of Jericho but Cena counters and delivers a DDT to Jericho and covers Jericho for a two count. Jericho goes for a lion-sault but Cena moves. Cena coves again for another 2 count. Jericho hits a low blow on Cena and is disqualified. Jericho locks in the Walls of Jericho on Cena. He holds on until a bunch of ref’s come out to the ring. Jericho gets a chair and takes it into the ring. Jericho slams the chair on Cena’s back several times and finally is removed from the ring by the officials.

* Marc Lloyd is in the back when he sees a white limo pull up. He says he thinks it is the new GM. The door opens and Bischoff exits. Lloyd asks why Bischoff is here. Bischoff walks away.

* Backstage Bischoff introduces himself to Randy Orton. Bischoff asks where Hogan's dressing room is. Orton tells him, and Bischoff goes. Bischoff walks into Hogan's dressing room. Hogan is not amused. Bischoff tells Hogan he is the new GM for RAW, he says he is going to do everything but reinvent the wheel for RAW. Hogan says he heard that Bischoff was going to try to sign HHH. Hogan says he knows why Bischoff is really here to see rock. Bischoff asks where Edge is, he asks if Edge and Hogan are a package. Hogan asks if Bischoff means negotiating. Bischoff replies affirmatively. Hogan ponders for a second then tells Bischoff to negotiate his ass.

* Hurricane vs. Chavo Guerrero
Hurricane offers to shake hands before the match starts. Chavo didn’t and Hurricane went to work on Chavo. Hurricane hits a neck breaker on Chavo. Chavo is whipped in the ropes and Hurricane takes him down. Hurricane gets on the top rope and hits a cross body and knocks Chavo down. Chavo kicks at Hurricane as he lays in the ring writhing in pain. Chavo twist Hurricane’s knee around the ring post. Chavo hooks Hurricane upside down on the turnbuckle and then kicks at him. Hurricane tries to fight back. Hurricane goes for the choke slam but Guerrero counters it with a drop toe hold. Chavo twists Hurricane’s leg around the ring ropes. Hurricane counters by knocking Chavo out of the corner. Hurricane hits Chavo in the back of the head. Hurricane jumps from the middle rope on to Chavo. he covers Chavo for a 2 count. Hurricane tries a suplex but Chavo counters and works on Hurricane’s leg more. Chavo picks up Hurricane and slams him down. Chavo locks in an STF and Hurricane taps out. Chavo gets on the mic and says he is the premier Latin American cruiser weight in the WWE. He says every time he turns around he sees propaganda for Rey Mysterio Jr. and he is sick of it. He says next week, on Smackdown, Rey Mysterio Jr. will make his debut against him, Chavo Guerrero,

* Backstage marc Lloyd sees another limo and he thinks it is the new GM. Its not, its Vince. He asks why he is here. Vince says that the new GM might already be here. Lloyd says that Bischoff is here. Vince says that this should make for a very interesting night.

* Backstage Rico offers his services to Bischoff. Bischoff asks where the Rock’s dressing room is. Rico tells him. Bischoff runs into Vince. Bischoff says that he had to come and check out Smackdown, the competition. Vince asks if Bischoff knows that he is announcing a new GM for Smackdown tonight. Bischoff says it doesn't matter because at Vengeance he will sign HHH for RAW. Bischoff says he is going to see the Rock.

* Earlier today Michael Cole had and interview with the Undertaker. They cut to the interview. Cole asks Taker about his upcoming triple threat match with Angle and Rock. Taker says he has a few facts he need to straighten out about himself and his title. Taker says he is the champ not because he kissed ass or was protected because he defended his title to anyone. He says he is the Undisputed Champion because there is no one who can beat him in a championship match. Taker says The Rock attacked him at KoTR because the Rock knows deep down he cant beat Taker. Taker says that the Rock needs to know that when the Rock gets Takers attention he needs to prepare for Takers wrath. Taker talks about Angle now. Taker says Angle is living in disillusion. He says because Angle got a half way victory over Taker he thinks he is the greatest thing. Taker says if he and Angle had 1000 matches in 1000 days, Angle couldn’t make Taker tap. Taker prattles on more and its really boring. Basically he says the Rock and Kurt Angle are going to find out why he is the American Bad-ass and why the ring is his yard.

* Billy and Chuck vs. Hardcore Holly and Big Valbowski
Billy and Hardcore start us off. They lock up in the middle but soon Billy pushes Hardcore back into the corner. Hardcore is whipped into the ropes and knocks Billy down. Hardcore drop kicks Billy. Hardcore gets Billy on the ropes, sort of, and kicks Billy. Chuck gets tagged in. Val gets tagged in. Val boots Chuck to the face. Chuck knocks Val down. Val picks up Chuck and slams him down. Val covers for a two count. Hardcore gets tagged in. Val and Hardcore jump on top of Chuck. Chuck suplexes Hardcore and covers him for a two count. Hardcore suplexes Chuck. Both men lay in the ring. Chuck tags in Billy. Hardcore tags in Val. Val gets whipped in the ropes but he shoulder tackles Billy. Chuck is cleared out of the ring. Val power bombs Billy and covers but Chuck breaks it up. Rico heel kicks Val in the chin. Hardcore punches Rico. Chuck pulls Hardcore out. Billy covers Val in the ring but Val kicks out. Hardcore gets up and hits the Alabama slam. Val jumps off the top rope on to Billy and covers him for the victory.

* Hogan and Edge and Rikishi vs. the Anti-Americans: Test and Christian and Lance Storm
Rikishi and Christian start off the match. Rikishi slams Christian down. Christian battles back then tags in Storm. Rikishi double clotheslines Christian and Storm. Edge is tagged in. Edge is whipped into the ropes and Test pulls Edge down from out of the ring. Christian is tagged back in. Christian hammers away at Edge. Test is in the ring with Edge. Test locks in a submission on Edge. The ref lifts Edges arm twice, and the third time he keeps it up and battles back. Test hits a pump handle slam on Edge. Test goes for the big boot but Edge moves. Edge face plants Test into the canvas. Christian knocks Hogan down so no tag could be made. Storm gets tagged in. Storm throws around Edge. He gets on the top rope and jumps to Edge, but Edge counters and slams Storm down. Edge tags in Hogan. Test hits Hogan from behind. All 6 men get involved. Storm covers Hogan but Hogan kicks out. Hogan Hulks up as Storm kicks at him. Hogan shakes his finger at Storm. Storm is whipped in the corner. Rikishi gets ready for the Stink Face but Test boots him in the chin. Hogan gets in the ring and boots Test. Edge gets in the ring and hits the Edge-a-cution on Storm and covers him for the victory.

* Backstage Bischoff fin the Rock in his dressing room. Bischoff introduces himself as the new GM for RAW. Bischoff tells Rock he wants him for RAW on Mondays. Bischoff said having The Rock and himself together its would take Raw to a new level. The Rock thought about this for a moment and said he would be on RAW. Bischoff got excited, but The Rock then said he wasn't signing with Bischoff because he would only be going because he is going to beat Undertaker and Kurt Angle on Sunday at Vengeance and be the WWE Undisputed Champion. Bischoff laughed at one of the Rocks remarks and said if he had The Rock on Nitro, WCW would have been incredible. The Rock smiled and said while Bischoff was on Nitro working his creative magic, The Rock was busy putting Bischoff's company out of business. The two exchanged evil looks and Rock left.

* Vince comes out to introduce the new GM. First says that if the wrestlers think its better on the other show they can try and trade on to it. Vince says RAW deserved the GM they got, he is not sure if Smackdown deserved the GM they are getting. With that Vince introduced the new GM: (as if the entire world didn‘t know yet) Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie comes out and gets on the mic and begins to talk. She says that Shane McMahon was right, Bischoff is a parasite and when he said Bischoff would try and screw him. She said she would not let that happen. She also goes on to say that at Vengeance HHH will not sign with Bischoff. Stephanie says that her first act as the Smackdown GM will be to remove Bischoff from the building. After that she ran backstage in search of Bischoff. She finally found him talking to Storm, Christian and Test. She got up in his face and said that he had two choices, he could leave on his own or be thrown out. Bischoff agreed to leave but said he would see her at Vengeance.

* Billy Kidman vs. Tajiri
Kidman came out first. Tajiri goes to work on Kidman. Kidman kicks Tajiri in the back of the head. Tajiri whips Kidman into the corner then kicks him in the face. Tajiri locks in the tarantula. Kidman gets kneed in the face by Tajiri. Tajiri kicks at Kidman while he is leaning on the ropes. Tajiri locks in a submission but Kidman battles out of it. Kidman try to suplex Tajiri but Tajiri counters. Kidman knocks down Tajiri a few times then hits a neck breaker on him and covers for a 2 count. Kidman attempts to clothesline Tajiri but Tajiri kicks him. They two exchange blows. The match ends with Kidman hitting the shooting star press and covering for the pin fall victory. Jamie Noble runs in the ring with Nidia and attacks Billy Kidman

* Backstage Jericho goes into to see Stephanie. She is glad to see him. Stephanie thanks Jericho for his complements. She says she is proud of Jericho’s generosity when Jericho gave up his match at Vengeance so Hogan and Edge could defend the tag titles. Stephanie says he will be rewarded. She says next week Jericho can have his match against Edge on Smackdown.

* Backstage the Rock is getting ready for his match.

* Kurt Angle vs. The Rock
Angle says he is going to win at Vengeance he trash talks some more and the Undertaker comes out on his bike. No one understands why Taker is there. Taker sits down by the announcers. Rock rushes down to the ring and starts the beating on Angle. Rock cleared Angle out of the ring. Rock slammed Angle into the steel steps. Rock slams Angle on Takers bike. Rock slams Angle down on the ramp. Angle slingshots the Rock into the ring post. Angle rolled Rock back into the ring. Angle kicks at the Rock. Angle steps on Rock’s throat. Angle suplexed Rock and covered for a two. Angle slammed Rock into the turnbuckle. Rock battles back and chops at Kurt Angle's chest. Rock whips Angle in the ropes then flips him over his head. He covers Angle for a two count. Angle suplexed Rock three times. Angle covers for a two count. Rock crawls up Angle then Angle slams him back down. Rock battles back and suplexes Angle a few times. Rock covers Angle for a two count. Angle gets out of the ring and converses with Taker who is on the side. Back in the ring Angle kicks at the Rock. Rock battles back and then Angle suplexes Rock. Angle the belly to belly suplexes Angle. Angle locks in a submission sleeper hold. Angle uses the ropes for a while. Rock tries to counter but Angle keeps using the ropes. The ref begins to count the Rock’s arm going down. Of course it doesn't go down the third time and the Rock gets out of the hold. Rock gets hit with the Angle slam and Angle covers for two. Angle yells at the ref. Rock gets up. Rock locks in the sharpshooter on Angle. Angle reaches the ropes. Angle gets slammed down by the Rock. Rock goes for the rock-bottom. Rock knocks Angle out of the ring. Rock hits Angle and knocks him into the Undertaker. Angle slams Rocks face on the announce table. They get back in the ring. Angle lock but Rock gets out it. Rock covers for a two count. Rock hits Angle with a spine-buster. Rock goes for the People’s Elbow but Taker gets in the ring and stops it. Angle gets a chair and hits Taker. Angle gets Rock in the ankle lock and the Rock taps.

* Outside Marc Lloyd asks HHH who he will sign with then Stephanie McMahon comes up and says she needs to talk to HHH, and it is strictly business. HHH asks if she sure she wants to be alone with him and is she is sure that she doesn‘t want her lawyer present. Stephanie says she deserved that comment. HHH says that on Sunday he will hear what she has to say and will make his decision. He goes into his limo, but stops and says that Stephanie looks like she gained weight, angering Steph. When he got in, the window was up. As the window rolled down, it revealed Eric Bischoff laughing hysterically. He said, "If it makes you feel any better, I think you look great." Then they drove off.
