* Smackdown began with Brock Lesnar sporting a new Hulkamania t-shirt and Paul Heyman entering the ring. Lesnar ripped off the Hulk shirt in a Hogan like fashion as Heyman began to speak. Heyman says he guess that saying prayers and taking vitamins didn’t do much good for Hogan. Heyman gave us a dramatic run down of the match between Lesnar and Hogan then they replayed the footage from the match where Lesnar delivered the F-5, gave Hogan a shot to the head with a chair then wiped Hogan's blood on his chest. Heyman recounts after the match that Hogan refused help to stand with video of Hogan struggling to stand with using the ring ropes. Heyman says that Lesnar ended Hogan’s career. Heyman goes on to say that no one has ever put down the immortal Hulk Hogan before Lesnar. Heyman says that the ultimate insult is that Hogan wasn't the ultimate trophy Brock was looking for but instead, a mere stepping for his career. He says that the message that was sent to the Rock was that the blood of Hogan is on Lesnar’s hands just like the people’s blood will be Lesnar’s hands at Summer Slam. Lesnar gets on the mic saying just like he ended Hogan's carrier, he will end the Rock’s title reign at Summer Slam. Rikishi’s music hits as the big man came out to the ring despite Heyman’s repeated warnings. Heyman begins to insult Rikishi until the mic is ripped from his hands. Rikishi asks Heyman if that is the best that he’s got. He says that tonight in Seattle, Rikishi is gonna back that ass up and the make Heyman kiss it. Rikishi hops in the ring and a small brawl begins between the two. Rikishi clotheslines Lesnar out of the ring, leaving he and Heyman alone in the ring. Rikishi sets up fro the sink face but Lesnar pulls Heyman out just in time and they head off the stage.

* Shannon Moore, Hurricane and Hardcore Holly vs. Billy, Chuck and Rico
Billy jumps in the ring and starts the match off with Holly. Holly dropkicks Billy. Then Holly flipped Rico over the ropes once Rico was tagged in. Holly suplexes Rico and tags in Moore. Rico kicks Moore in the stomach then covers for a 2 count. Moore kicks Rico with a spinning heel kick. Hurricane hits a leg drop on Rico as he was held by Moore. Chuck was tagged in. Hurricane went for choke-slam, Chuck counters. Chuck flipped Hurricane over his head but Hurricane lands on his feet. Chuck suplexes Hurricane and Chuck covers for a 2 count. Chuck locks in a rear chin lock but Hurricane fights out. Billy gets tagged in and he and Chuck deliver a wishbone to Hurricane. Billy begins to punch Hurricane in his head. Hurricane counters a tilt-a-whirl with the eye of the hurricane. Billy tags in Chuck, Hurricane tags in Moore. Moore hits a swinging neck breaker. Moore and Billy go at it in the counter. Moore jumps off the top rope only to be caught in mid air by Billy. Chuck covers Moore for the three count. Rico, Billy and Chuck start to assault Moore after the match. Hurricane and Holly clear the ring as Matt Hardy rushes out to the ring and embrace the Hurricane

* Backstage Stephanie McMahon is with Dawn Marie in her office. Dawn apologizes for screwing up. Stephanie tells her to shut up because she doesn't know what she is even apologizing. Stephanie says the papers Dawn lost to that "mole" Stacy, were RVD’s contract for the rematch of the Intercontinental Title. She said she was going to shred the papers so RVD would never see them and now she cant because Dawn screwed up. And if that wasn’t bad enough now Benoit has to defend to RVD at Summer Slam. Stephanie says at least she signed Matt Hardy and outsmarted Bischoff by buying commercial time on Raw. Stephanie tells Dawn she needs to dress more professionally and if she screws up again she will be fired.

* Backstage Matt Hardy is excited about his appearance on Smackdown. He says he is glad to be with Moore and Hurricane again and will always be there for them and there is no thanks needed. Matt says that there is no question Smackdown is ready for him. He flashes his new version 1 sign and runs away like a small child.

* Benoit comes in Stephanie’s office and she explains that she cant believe her staff screwed up with the title match papers. She says that she knows that he will win the title battle with RVD at Summer Slam. She says she knows that Benoit will make RVD tap. Also, she says that tonight Benoit will face the Rock and she knows that he will make him tap as well

* In an interview with Angle about Mysterio, Angle says that just because Mysterio clocked him from behind doesn't mean anything. He says that the win didn’t count because Mysterio was a cheater. Mysterio approaches Angle and says that he wants to fight Angle at Summer Slam so he came make his win count. Angle giggles, then realizes that Mysterio is serious. He asks what Mysterio will take him on in, the suggests dwarf tossing. Mysterio says he wants to show Angle that he can beat him. Mark Henry comes out and asks who Angle is calling a little man. Agle asks if Henry is the worlds strongest man in weightlifting or body order. Angle says he wants to take Henry on in a match tonight. Henry agrees.

* Kurt Angle vs. Mark Henry
The two men lock up and Henry pushes Angle down. Henry knocks down Angle with his shoulder. Angle gets up and rushes toward Henry. Henry lifts Angle but Angle gets down safely. Henry military press Angle then clotheslines him then covers him for a two count. Henry begins to favor his left ankle. Angle whips Henry in the corner then kicks at the back of Henry’s knee. Angle tackles Henry at his knees. Henry counters another rush towards him by Angle with a clothesline. Angle then kicks at the back of Henry’s legs. Angle twist Henry’s legs in a submission maneuver. Henry is able to kick off Angle but Angle counters and puts Henry in the ankle lock. Henry turns over and kicks Angle off and out of the ring. Henry clotheslines Angle then lifts him up for another military press. Henry elbows Angle in the face but Angle hitx him in the back on the leg again. Angle is able to get the ankle lock in again and Henry finally taps out. Mysterio comes out on the tope rope and hits a hurracanrana then hits a 619 on Angle and busts his face open.

* In a Subway commercial, Eric Bischoff announces what his main event on Raw will be.

* Brock Lesnar vs. Rikishi
The two begin to stare each other down in the ring. Then they lock up. Lesnar delivers a firemen’s carry take down on Rikishi. Rikishi gets whacked in the back of the head by Lesnar’s fist. Lesnar attempts to hit Rikishi but Rikishi moves then clotheslines Lesnar then covers for the 2 count. Lesnar hits Rikishi from behind. Lesnar bangs Rikishi’s arm on the ring post a few times then gets back in the ring. Rikishi battles back for a short time but Lesnar knocks Rikishi down. Lesnar hits a belly to belly suplex on Rikishi then covers for the two count. Lesnar applies a bear hug submission to Rikishi. Rikishi battles out but is drilled with Lesnar’s shoulder into the ring corner. Rikishi begins to battle back with a few suplexes then back up into Lesnar. Lesnar falls into the stink face position. Heyman distracts Rikishi then runs towards him in the ring corner. Rikishi debates who he wants to stink face he chooses Heyman, Lesnar rushes towards Rikishi but Rikishi knocks Lesnar out of the ring allowing Rikishi to give the stink face to Heyman. Lesnar gets in the ring and F-5’s Rikishi and pins him for the victory.

* Backstage Funaki is attempting an interview with Nidia but she keeps trying to hit on him. He tries to ask about her thoughts on the match she has tonight with Torrie Wilson. Nidia sys that she knows Funaki isn’t there to talk about Torrie but to talk about hot she is. She tries to make Funaki touch her breast as Bautista throws D-Von through the door and screams something about respect.

* Torrie accompanied by Billy Kidman vs. Nidia accompanied by Jamie Noble
Nidia slaps around Torrie. Torrie boots Nidia in the face. Torrie grabs Nidia legs then slingshots her and covers for a two count. Nidia hits a DDT on Torrie then covers Torrie for a two count. Nidia clotheslines Torrie and covers fro a two count. Nidia gets hung up on the top rope and Torrie hits a snap suplex and covers for another two count. Torrie slaps Nidia then boots her in the face. Torrie gets out of the ring and slaps Noble. Nidia gets slapped by Torrie. Torrie gets on apron but Noble grabs her leg. Kidman comes by and attacks him. Noble gets in the ring and clotheslines Torrie and Nidia covers her for the 3 count. Kane’s pyro and music hits and everyone sort of looks around but nothing happened.

* Chavo and Eddie Guerrero are on the phone and they tell their family to make sure to watch their match with Rey Mysterio and Edge. Eddie says makes fun of Edge for a little while. Then they talk about smiles. Eddie says after tonight they will have a lot more to smile about.

* Chavo Guerrero and Eddie Guerrero vs. Edge and Rey Mysterio
Chavo and Edge start off the match. Edge plants Chavo face first on the mat. Edge flips Chavo over the top ring rope and out of the ring. Edge gets out of the ring. Chavo gets in. Eddie slams Edge in the barricade before Edge gets back in the ring. Eddie tags in. Chavo chokes Edge as Eddie distracts the ref. Edge battles back and sends Eddie face first down. Mysterio jumps on Eddie from the top rope and covered for a two count. Mysterio pounds on Eddie in the corner. Eddie power-bombs Mysterio. Chavo tags in and covers Mysterio. Chavo kicks at Edge, then drops Edge on his knee. Eddie gets tagged in. Eddie hits a pump handle slam then covers Mysterio for a two count. Chavo gets tagged in. Chavo gets heel kicked by Mysterio after several moves were countered by both guys. Eddie gets tagged in he quickly runs and knock Edge off the apron. Eddie attempts another power-bomb but Mysterio counters and tags in Edge. Edge flips Eddie. Eddie is then face planted by Edge. Edge hits a spear on Chavo then attempts one on Eddie but Eddie counters and hits a brain buster. Eddie gets on the top rope but Mysterio knock him down. Mysterio hits the 619 on Chavo. Angle comes out of no where and gets the angle lock on Mysterio. The ref calls for the DQ. Angle throws Mysterio in the ring and gets the Angle lock in again. Chavo kicks Mysterio’s head. Edge gets back in the ring and takes out Chavo then spears Angle.

* They show some clips from WWE in Australia. After an interview happened with the Rock. The Rock says that he is not going to squeal because of Benoit. Rock admits that Benoit did make him tap but it won’t happen again. Rock moves on and talks about Lesnar. Rock says he is getting all these messages from Lesnar. Rock tells Lesnar in German, Chinese and finally in English to "Just Bring It, Bitch!" Lesnar appears in the background smiling after Rock leave the interview sight.

* The Rock vs. Chris Benoit
As the Rock is doing his entrance a giant banner advertising the main event of The Rock vs. Triple H on Raw moves through the audience. The two lock up in the ring but Benoit quickly goes to work by putting the Rock in different submission. rock gets out and rock hits and arm drag on Benoit. Rock twist Benoit’s arm then is thrown in to the ring ropes. Rock knocks him down. Rock slams Benoit’s face in the mat. Benoit hits a suplex on Rock. Benoit clotheslines him. Benoit delivers a back breaker to Rock then covers for a two count. Benoit slams Rock’s face into the turnbuckle. Benoit chops at the Rock several times. Finally Benoit misses a chop and Rock takes the opportunity to counter with a belly to belly suplex then covers for a 2 count. Rock is German suplexed 3 times by Benoit, then a forth suplex, then a suplex to bridge cover for a 2 counter. Benoit locks in the arm bar on the Rock. Rock counters with a DDT. Then covers for another 2 count. Both men are down and the ref begins to count. Rock gets up first. Benoit chops at Rock. Rock attempts the Rock bottom but Benoit counters with a DDT. Benoit heads to the top of the rope and hits the head-butt. Benoit covers and Rock kicks out at the last moment. Both are down again and the ref counts again. Both get up at 9. Rock locks in the sharpshooter. Benoit screams in pain but makes it to the ropes. Benoit knocks down Rock with a running back elbow to the jaw. Rock hits a spine buster and goes for the people’s elbow but Lesnar comes out. Rock crawls out of the ring to face Lesnar. Benoit hits Rock from behind and drags him back into the ring. Benoit locks in the cross face. Rock reaches the ropes and forces Benoit to break the hold. Lesnar looks disappointed. Rock hits the Rock bottom and covers Benoit for the win.
