* The show starts off with a pre-recorded message from Stephanie McMahon. She says tonight Edge will face Kurt Angle, Undertaker has been challenged by Matt Hardy, and a tournament for Smackdown tag titles will begin to night and finish at No Mercy.

* Eddie and Chavo Guerrero vs. Mark Henry and Rikishi
Chavo goes to work on Henry and Eddie to Rikishi. Rikishi double clotheslines Eddie and Chavo. Eddie and Rikishi officially start off the match. Eddie dropkicks Rikishi. Eddie attempts a roll up and moves before Rikishi jumps on him. Chavo is tagged in. Rikishi delivers the Samoan drop to Chavo. Rikishi tags in Henry. Henry throws Chavo out of the ring with one hand. Chavo takes down Henry at his legs. Chavo tags in Eddie. Eddie locks in some kind of leg submission but Henry knocks him off. Henry throws Eddie over his shoulder.. Eddie knocks Henry down at the legs again and he tags in Chavo. Chavo kicks at Henry's thigh. Eddie is tagged in. The ref is distracted and Chavo comes in to double team. Eddie and Chavo drag Henry into the middle of the ring. Rikishi runs into the ring but the ref kicks him out. Chavo brings in a chair and hits Henry in the leg. Eddie locks in another leg lock which forces Henry to tap out. Eddie and Chavo advance in the tag tournament.

* Backstage Torrie Wilson introduces her father to Billy and Chuck. Dawn Marie comes up. Torrie says that Billy and Chuck will win tonight. Dawn introduces herself to Torrie's father.

* Heyman is talking to Brock Lesnar. Heyman says that Lesnar has to give Undertaker a rematch at No Mercy with a special stipulation. Heyman says he doesn't know what it is. Matt Hardy comes in and says its not going to be a falls count anywhere match. He says that what Lesnar did to Taker last week won't be anything compared to what he is going to do to him tonight.

* Undertaker vs. Matt Hardy (Falls Count Anywhere)
Taker rams Hardy into the ring post. Taker tosses around Hardy. Taker delivers a leg drop on Hardy's neck. Outside the ring Taker whips Hardy into the announce tables. Taker slams Hardy's face into the announce table. Both are on the table, Taker attempts a choke slam but Matt delivers a low blow. Matt goes for the twist of fate but Taker knocks him off. They head into the crowd. Taker smacks Matt around and pushes him into the barriers.. Hardy grabs a drink and sprays him in the face with it. They head backstage, and Matt jumps out behind something and attacks Taker. Taker delivers some uppercuts to Matt. Matt runs away screaming that they will meet again. Matt tries to escape by climbing a fence. Taker goes towards him but Lesnar ambushes him. Taker throws Lesnar down. Matt comes down and attacks Taker but he throws Matt into the fence. Lesnar gives Taker the F-5 and Matt pins for the win. Heyman, Hardy and Lesnar are leaving until Lesnar turns around and hits Taker in the hand with a steel canister. The three leave Taker wailing in pain on the floor.

* Marc Lloyd tries to interview Taker. Taker walks away in pain. Lloyd asks the trainer for his opinion. He says that he thinks Taker's hand could be broken and he is going to the hospital for some x-rays.

* Crash vs. Jamie Noble (WWE Cruiserweight Title)
The two lock up, Noble takes Crash down. Noble whips Crash into the corner. Noble dropkicks Crash from behind. Noble drops an elbow on Crash. Noble covers for 2. Noble runs Crash into the corner again. Crash tries to fight back, Noble knocks him down again. Noble locks in a submission around Crash's neck. Crash lifts Noble and drives him into the turnbuckle. Crash clotheslines Noble. Crash knocks Noble down a few times. Crash runs into Noble who knocks Nidia off the apron. Crash covers Noble for 2, Noble rolls Crash up for 2. Noble rolls up Crash and grabs the ropes to pin Crash.

* In an interview with Angle, he is asked if he regrets the comments made to Rey Mysterio. Angle says being the best means never having to say your sorry. He says Benoit lost to Mysterio last week. Angle says that's because Benoit is a regular person, and he is a work of art, and is the closest to perfection there is. Edge shows up. He tells Angle he doesn't suck but he is not perfect. Angle says his medals say he is perfect. Edge says Angle head says he is not. Angle says he was been waiting for this moment for a while. Angle walks away and turns around and sucker punches Edge.

* Kurt Angle vs. Edge
They lock up and push each other around. Edge suplexes Angle. Edge tries to put Angle in a front head lock but Angle turns it around. Edge locks in an arm bar. Angle battles out quickly. Angle knocks Edge down with an elbow. Edge takes Angle down several times with an arm drag. Edge delivers a leg drop to Angle's arm. Angle pushes Edge down and covers for 2. Edge locks in another arm submission. Angle battles back but is whipped to the ropes and Edge delivers another arm drag. Angle gets Edge in the corner and stomps on him. Edge turns it around and kicks at him. Angle whips Edge into the rope.. Edge delivers a spinning kick to Angle. Edge is flipped on to the apron and delivers another assault on Angle's arm. Both roll back in to the ring. Angle thrusts his shoulder into the ring post. Angle delivers and Angle slam to Edge over the top rope. Angle drops Edge on to the barricade. Angle rolls in to stop the count. Angle delivers a vertical suplex and covers for 2. Angle punches at Edge's head. Edge chops at Angle and boots him in the face. Angle suplexes Edge and covers for 2. Angle wraps his legs around Edge's waist and his arms around his neck. Edge breaks out of the hold but Angle delivers a knee to Edge's ribs. Edge gets kicked in the ribs as he tries to stand. Angle puts Edge in an abdominal stretch. Edge flips Angle delivers a back suplex to Edge and covers for 2. Angle puts Edge in a bear hug from behind. Edge battles out of it with elbows to Angle's chin. Edge suplexes Angle over his head. The ref begins to count. He gets to 9 before Edge and Angle get up. They trade punches in the ring. Edge clotheslines Angle and back body drops him. Edge covers for 2. Angle goes for a suplex Edge lands on his feet. Edge attempts a spear but Angle tosses him into the ref.. Edge and Angle get up. Angle goes for the Angle slam but Edge counters with the Edge-a-cution. Edge covers but the ref is down. Angle hits Edge with a low blow. Angle delivers an Angle slam to Edge. A new ref comes out as Angle pins but Edge kicks out. Angle puts Edge in the ankle lock. Edge gets out. Edge crawls up to the top rope, Angle gets up and is pushed off. Angle gets back up and delivers a superplex to Edge and covers for the pin. The other ref gets up and calls Edge the winner. A fight breaks out between the ref. More refs come out to sort out the matter.
--Commercial Break--
They decide to restart the match. Angle slaps Edge in the face. Edge is tied up in the ropes Angle hits a spear. And then he does it again. He attempts again but Edge moves and Angle lands outside the ring. Angle gets on the apron and Edge spears him. Edge gets to the top rope and jumps down on Angle. Edge gets on the top rope and delivers a missile drop kick. Edge drops Angle down and covers for 2. Angle delivers German suplex to Edge. Angle gives Edge another German, and another, and another. Chris Benoit comes out to watch. Angle delivers another suplex. Angle is rolled up by Edge and kicks out. Benoit harasses Angle. Edge boots Angle in the face. Angle puts Edge in the ankle lock. Edge reverse and tosses Angle out of the ring. Angle gets a chair. Benoit pulls the chair and it hits Angle in the head. Edge hits the spear and covers for the win.

* Backstage Angle hunts down Benoit. He fins him in a locker room. Several people break up the fight. Stephanie comes in and yells at them and says they will be a tag team in the tournament next week. She says if they don't get along she will suspend them.

* Lesnar is talking to Heyman when Matt Hardy comes in. He brags about his win over Taker saying it took sheer Matt-itude. Matt says that since he beat the number one contender he should become the number one contender and face Lesnar at No Mercy. He leave. Lesnar and Heyman laugh at the possibility of facing Matt Hardy at No Mercy.

* Billy and Chuck vs. D-Von and Faarooq
Billy asks if Ron Simmons (Faarooq) if he is really teaming up with D-Von. Faarooq knocks him down. The match begins. Chuck suplexes D-Von. He knock Faarooq off the apron. Faarooq is tagged in and delivers a drop toe hold to Chuck. D-Von elbows Chuck in the back of the head. Faarooq and D-Von double team Chuck. Faarooq is tagged in and he knocks Billy off the apron. D-Von goes for the Wassup. They reverse it and D-Von ends up landing on Faarooq. D-Von and Billy are tagged in. Billy delivers a back body drop. Faarooq and D-Von suplex Billy into a neck breaker. D-Von covers for 2. D-Von attempts a neck break but Billy counters. D-Von covers Billy for the win.

* Backstage Dawn Marie asks Torrie's father for an opinion on her outfit for the bikini match. He says it looks great.

* Tazz moderates the bikini contest. He introduces Torrie Wilson first, then Dawn Marie. Tazz says that the audience are the judges. Dawn Marie goes first, she gets a moderate reaction from the crowd. Torrie goes next. Her crowd reaction is much better and she is pronounced the winner. Dawn throws Torrie out of the ring, Dawn walks away.
* Stephanie comes up to Lesnar with an update on Taker's condition. She says that Taker's hand is broken but he still wants to compete. Stephanie says she is ready to name the stipulation. Lesnar and Heyman make jokes about it. Stephanie says it will be a Hell in a Cell. Heyman looks worried.

* Rey Mysterio vs. Chris Benoit
Benoit delivers a back breaker to Rey then whips him into the turnbuckle. Benoit chops at Rey. Rey gets on the to rope and delivers a leg scissors take down. Rey the counters a wheel barrel suplex with a bull dog to Benoit. Rey throws Benoit out of the ring. Rey springboards out of the ring on to Benoit.. Rey covers for 2. Benoit gets up an delivers a huge back breaker to Rey. Benoit whips Rey into the turnbuckle then delivers a suplex. He covers Rey for 2. Benoit delivers a back body drop to Rey. Benoit chokes Rey with his hand crosses around Rey's neck. Rey cries out in pain but is able to battle out of the hold. He reverse into the same hold on Benoit. Benoit gets up but Rey rolls him up with a sunset flip for 2. Benoit slams Rey's face into the turnbuckle. Benoit chops at Rey. Benoit locks in a submission pulling Rey's arms behind him. Benoit suplexes Rey then covers for 2.. Mysterio drop kicks Benoit in the jaw. Benoit gets up first but Mysterio is there to knock him down. Mysterio attempts a moonsault from the ropes but Benoit catches him. Mysterio gets up and drop kicks Benoit in the face. Mysterio delivers a springboard moonsault to Benoit and covers for 2. Benoit tries to suplex Mysterio a few times. Benoit falls on the ropes, Mysterio attempts the 619. Benoit catches him and delivers a shoulder breaker. Benoit gets on the top rope and delivers a head butt. Benoit covers but Mysterio kicks out. Mysterio hits a leg drop on Benoit. Mysterio hits the 619. Angle comes out and hit Benoit. Mysterio covers Benoit for the win. Benoit and Angle get face to face in the ring. The exchange some blows and Angle gives Benoit the ankle lock. Benoit locks in the cross face and Angle taps out. Refs come out to break up the fight. They break away and continue to go at it.
