- LIVE from Albuquerque, New Mexico, it's Smackdown!

- They run a little advertisement for the show, hyping that Brock Lesnar will be returning to action and the marriage of Al Wilson and Dawn Marie will also be taking place. They then cut to the usual Smackdown! opening.

John Cena vs. Rikishi
- John Cena and B2 come out with Cena saying that he has some unfinished business with Rikishi and then proceeds to make fun of Rikishi's ass a little bit. B2 takes the mic but all he says is "booya!". Rikishi comes down and immediately attacks Cena. He ends up chucking Cena to the outside and then follows him there, slamming his head on the announce table and the steel steps. Rikishi pretty much dominates the middle parts of the match, but some interference by B2 turns the tide in Cena's favor. Michael Cole announces that next week they will reveal some names from the Smackdown! side to take part in the Royal Rumble. Rikishi has Cena down for the pin but B2's distraction prevents him from winning so Rikishi throws B2 in. We get a ref bump and out of nowhere, Cena rolls up Rikishi for the victory. After the match, Rikishi chases them through the crowd.

Dawn Marie Interview
- The typical wedding music hits and out comes a smiling Dawn Marie in her white gown. The fans chant "slut" but she ignores them and takes a mic. She says she's a beautiful bride and asks the fans if they like her dress. Dawn: "But don't get too used to seeing me in this dress because tonight when I recite my wedding vows, I am going to take off my wedding dress. Tonight I will make history in WWE and I will marry Al Wilson in the nude!".

- Backstage, we see Stephanie McMahon walk into Dawn's dressing room. Steph says that she really does look beautiful. She has no problem with her marriage but she does have a problem with her getting married in the nude. Dawn Marie says that she just wants to know how much she loves Al and nobody, especially Torrie Wilson, is going to stop it. Stephanie says the wedding is on, but the dress has to be too. Dawn asks "what if the dress happens to come off?" to which Steph responds by saying "try me, there will be some serious repurcussions". Steph leaves and Dawn is left wondering just how serious these repurcussions would be.

Chuck Palumbo vs. Bill DeMott
- Chuck Palumbo is already in the ring when Bill DeMott comes out. The commentators make sure to point out that this is the first time that DeMott is facing someone his own side. DeMott controls most of the match - mainly with aggressive shots to the back and chest area. DeMott then resorts to a chinlock and thematch slows down but Palumbo fights out but is knee in the midsection. DeMott misses a charge and Palumbo gets in some offense but he's clotheslined out of nowhere by DeMott, who then hits a reverse neckbreaker to get the win.

- We see a promo for the Undertaker's return. Interestingly, it focuses on his past gimmick as the dead man from the darkside with the comments: "Darkness consumes the light and beckons his return; the Dead Man walks again"...or something like that.

- Backstage, Billy Kidman is walking through the halls when he meets up with Torrie. Torrie says that even though she hates Dawn Marie and doesn't condone the wedding, he loves his father and is here for support. Kidman asks even in the nude, as Dawn stated and Torrie says yes, Dawn is the last person who should be wearing white. Kidman tries to cheer up Torrie by imitating both Dawn and Al and predicting what will happen at the wedding.

- Backstage, Team Angle is interviewed by Josh Mathews. Angle is asked if he will be prepared to face Chris Benoit at Royal Rumble. Angle asks if Benoit will be prepared, did you not see what happened to Benoit last week? They roll the footage from last week where Team Angle and Kurt beat up Benoit. Josh asks Kurt if he's worried about who Chris Benoit will pick as his tag team partner tonight. Angle says no, Benoit should be the one worried because he's the reigning world champion and the only gold medallist in the history of WWE. When he walked into the arena, he saw WWE - World Wrestling Entertainment with the keyword being wrestling - and that's what he does best. Angle informally introduces Charlie Hass and Shelton Benjamin and concludes that they are the three best wrestlers in the sport. Angle then focuses on Benoit and says that he probably attended the University of Saskatchewan and probably didn't even graduate. The name of the game is wrestling and that's what they do best so no, they are no worried. But if he were Chris Benoit, he'd be worried sick.

Eddie Guerrero vs. Billy Kidman
- Eddie Guerrero comes down to the ring, accompanied by Chavo and sporting a brand new haircut with no more mullet. Billy Kidman comes down next and soon thereafter, the non-title match gets underway. Kidman starts with a couple arm drag takedowns but misses a dropkick. They exchange shots but Guerrero comes out of the altercation the better of the two and gets a two count. He puts on an arm lock when B2 and John Cena come out. They direct their attention towards the Guerreros and Eddie in particularly, noting his change in hairstyle. Basically, they end up issuing a challenge for the titles which prompts Chavo to go after B2. All hell breaks loose but Rikishi emerges from the back and takes out B2, causing a plethora of refs to come running down to break the it all up. Meanwhile, Eddie and Kidman are still battling outside the ring and while they try to get everything settled back, we cut to a commercial.

Eddie Guerrero vs. Billy Kidman (Cont'd)
- We come back to see Rikishi being sent to the back and Chavo and B2 already banished. Cena is still there but doing color commentary. In the ring, Eddie has Kidman in the Gori Special into a cover for two and he puts the chinlock back on as Cole and Tazz seem only concerned with Cena. Kidman ends up fighting out it and they head to the top a few minutes later where Guerrero hits a superplex. Eddie then misses the Frog Splash so Kidman goes on the offense with a powerbomb, a back bodydrop and a standing dropkick. Guerrero the misses a tilt-a-whirl slam, allowing Kidman to hit a spinebuster for two. Later in the match after both competitors hit heads and get knocked out, Cena gets up and punches Eddie with the chain on his knuckles. Kidman, unaware of what happened, hits the Shooting Star Press to get the victory.

- They show the Dawn Marie/Al Wilson wedding invitation while Cole and Tazz state that it's next. They also wonder if Dawn will defy Stephanie's orders about not appearing in the nude for the ceremony.

Dawn Marie/Al Wilson Marriage
- We come back to see the preparations of the marriage underway in the ring, which is decorated fully. They then show a recap of the events leading up to the marriage. Finally, Al Wilson is introduced and he kinda struts down and takes his place in the ring. "Here comes the bride" plays and Dawn Marie walks down the ramp, escorted by no one and fully clothed if anyone cares. They go through the formalities until the part where they ask for anyone against the wedding to speak up. Dawn steps up and says she objects. She apologizes to Al and says she can't marry him like this. She promised everyone that she'd recite her vows without her wedding dress on. Dawn asks if there is anyone in this arena who would object to her removing her dress. No one says anything so she asks Al to help her unzip her dress. She takes off her gown and then starts to take off her panties but stops and says Stephanie McMahon says that this is as far as she can go, but Steph said nothing about Al Wilson getting married in the nude. Dawn Marie assists Al Wilson in taking off his shirt and then unbuckles his belt and takes off his pants - leaving Al in his tighty whities. Great. She then starts taking off his underwear but stops and says that's about as far as they will go. She doesn't want the whole world to see the biggest reason she is marrying him. They go through the rest of the vows and exchange rings and then roll around on the mat kissing.

Team Angle vs. Chris Benoit & ???
- Team Angle (Haas and Benjamin) comes down, followed by Chris Benoit and then Benoit's mystery partner - Edge. Charlie Haas and Benoit start things off but it doesn't go anywhere and Shelton Benjamin is tagged in. Benoit puts the Cripper on him but interference breaks it up. Edge soon comes in and dominates Benjamin but Haas interferes, allowing Benjamin to take advantage. They end up isloating Edge with Angle getting in some cheap shots as well and of course, that eventually leads to the hot tag to Benoit. Benoit beats both members of Team Angle up and gets a near fall on Benjamin. At this point, all four men comes into the ring with Edge and Benoit hitting simultaneous German suplexes. Angle panics and pulls Edge out but he's decked by Benoit who hits the Cripper Crossface on Shelton. This prompts Angle to come flying in to hit Benoit with his championship belt, disqualifying Benjamin and Haas. After the match, the heels beat up the faces with Haas using Angle's crutch as a weapon. Angle pulls in Tony Chimmel and physically abuses him, forcing him to announce Team Angle as the winners.

Paul Heyman Interview
- In the ring, Paul Heyman speaks of Team Angle and says that they cannot be denied. He says he's proud of his client, the WWE champion Kurt Angle. He says that we are all probably proud of Angle's superiority over the #1 contender, Chris Benoit. Heyman then says that he knows we're all excited to see Brock Lesnar in action but the reason the arena is sold out because of his favorite client - a man who stands head and shoulders above the competition. He then introduces the Big Show. Heyman then basically sucks up to Show, saying that he is a competitor who never backs down from a challenge. So that is why he and his client have a challenge, a challenge for Brock Lesnar. Heyman then touches on the Royal Rumble and how it is special due to the 15 wrestlers from Raw and Smackdown! and how the winner gets to face the champ of his respective brand. Heyman says he has a problem with that because Brock Lesnar could potentially win the Rumble and guarantees him a shot at the WWE title. And since it's his life's ambition to keep Brock away from the title, Heyman offers to raise the stakes. Paul officially challenges Brock Lesnar to face Big Show in a one-on-one match where the winner will be granted a spot in the Royal Rumble but the loser comes home and gets no opportunity in the Rumble. Heyman says he thinks Brock Lesnar will not accept - because he fears the Big Show, he is afraid of the Big Show. He concludes by saying that Brock Lesnar cannot beat the Big Show at which point Lesnar himself comes out. He slowly walks towards the ring but is ambushed from behind by Matt Hardy and Shannon Moore with a chair which cuts Brock open in the back of the neck. They hold Lesnar exposed to Big Show but Brock fights back and cleans house. The heels scatter away as Brock notices the blood on his neck.

- Backstage, Funaki catches up with Al and Dawn Marie. He asks them what's next and Dawn says that they will videotape their honeymoon and show some updates next week. As Dawn and Al step into their limo and drive away, Funaki says that he feels very dirty.

Nunzio vs. Crash Holly
- Josh Mathews announces the competitors as Tony Chimmel was knocked out of commission by Angle. Crash comes down and immediately high cross bodies Nunzio but Nunzio recovers and takes control of the match with an armbar. Nunzio ends up winning with an elbow or flying armbar off the ropes.

- Backstage, Matt Hardy brags about what he did to Brock Lesnar tells Shannon Moore that he had to teach him a lesson in Mattitude last week - he's the reason that Shannon is here. He tells him not to screw up and with that, they head to the ring.

Brock Lesnar vs. Matt Hardy
- Lesnar enters first and apparently is still bleeding as he refused medical attention, according to Cole. Brock immediately attacks Matt and tosses him around like a rag doll for almost the entire first part of the match. He reaches back and feels the blood on his head and then slaps Matt with the same hand. At one point, Brock kinda hangs Matt on one of the turnbuckles and just kicks away causing Shannon Moore to try and interfere. Brock just drags him in though and tosses him out the other side. However, this allows Matt Hardy to gain some offense, kicking away at Lesnar's knees but he's caught in a suplex. Lesnar throws Moore back in and then chucks him into Matt. Matt throws Shannon back at Lesnar so Brock F5s him. Out of nowhere, Matt hits the Twist of Fate, but Brock kicks out and them moments later, hits the F5 on Matt for the pinfall victory.

- After the match, Big Show and Paul Heyman come out and stand at the top of the ramp. Brock motions for them to come down to the ring, but they don't and instead Show just signals for the belt around his waist. Brock then picks up Matt, in an attempt to make an example out of him. He hits another F5 which seems to infuriate Show.
