I was at the house show in Frederick last night. Decent crowd as most of the floor looked full but the rest wasn't with the bleachers being at least half empty.
I'm sorry if the matches are out of order i didn't write anything down.
Match 1: Rodney Mack w/ Jazz vs. Val Venis
Crowd was mostly behind Val. A decent match with val getting the win after the money shot.
Match 2: Steven Richards vs. Mike (I couldn't hear the last name)
The crowd was basically dead. Steven Richards gets the win after hitting the Stevie T.
Match 3: Tyson Tomko vs. Maven
Not much to say about this one Tomko wins it with the boot to the face.
Match 4: Molly vs. Victoria
Crowd absolutely loved Victoria. Standard women's match with Molly being distracted by a woman walking down the aisle (probably steven richards) allowing victoria to capatalize with a rollup.
Match 5: La Resistance vs. Rhyno and Tajiri (Tag Team Championship)
Rob Conway asks the crowd to be quiet for the singing of O Canada! in french and as soon as he starts Rhyno's music hits. The crowd was solidly behind rhyno and tajiri and there were a lot of USA chants. Las Resistance gets the win after one of them ducked the kick of death and rolled up tajiri with his feet on the ropes.
Kane comes out right after intermission and asks lita to come to the ring. Lita comes out andthey exchange words Kane saying that lita is carrying his baby and lita saying that its matt's baby and that Matt is more of a man then Kane will ever be. Hurricane comes running out apparently to save Lita and in a very quick "match" is chokeslammed and then covered by kane.
Next Coach comes out and tells Howard Finkel that the coach has come to take over. He announces that Eric Bischoff just called him and says the rest of the night will involve evolution. After mentioning the matches he invites out Stacy Keibler. Coach mentions how he judged the Diva search and if Stacy was in it she would have heard "Stacy Keibler your eliminated". He tells Stacy to leave but before she does she gives him a low blow.
Howard Finkel comes back out to announce the next match.
Match 5: Chris Jericho vs. Batista
Most of the crowd here was firmly behind Jericho. A very good match with Batista having his sitout powerbomb countered and then jericho attempting the walls of jericho but batista blocking it. Jericho ends up winning with a rollup.
Match 6: Edge vs. Randy Orton (Intercontinental Title)
The crowd seemed pretty split to me with maybe a slight edge (no pun intended) going to edge. A solid match between these two with edge countering the RKO. Missing a first spear attempt and then hitting the second for the win.
Before the main event The Fink tells us how this is an annual event and how we are among the best fans of the WWE. He also mentions Raw will be on Spike TV to cheers and how Smackdown will be on UPN which gets boos.
Match 7: Chris Benoit vs. Triple H w/ Ric Flair (World Heavyweight title)
Most of the crowd was behind Benoit. Ric Flair was taunting parts of the crowd before the match and right before it got underway some guy in the front row of my section was really irritating Triple H. Once the match gets underway its very good. Some spots included were Triple H trying to leave a couple times. William Regal came out to stop Flair from interfering. After the ref was knocked down Benoit hit the three German's followed by the headbutt. Batista interferes on behalf of Triple H but when Trips covers the ref only gets two. Batista then distracts the ref allowing trips to attempt a shot with the belt but benoit counters. Benoit goes for the Sharpshooter but Trips eventually gets to the ropes. Benoit gets the Crossface locked in and trips finally taps out. By far the best match of the night lots of you tapped out chants and while benoit had the Sharpshooter or Crossface locked in lots of tap out chants.
