Word has it that Kurt Angle lobbied WWE writers to have Luther Reigns beat Rob Van Dam at the second SmackDown show in Japan. From what we understand, Angle thought Luther should win since he is associated with Angle and echoes on his command over the show. Angle got his wish but the fans in attendance were said to be very disappointed and showed and voiced their dissatisfaction.
