- Matt Hardy is scheduled for arthroscopic knee surgery in late August to repair a torn MCL. He will keep his current angle with Kane going through Summerslam, but would be out of action until around November.
- There seems to be "company-wide praise" for Hiroko Suzuki, Kenzo's wife. Reportedly, Vince McMahon first made a remark that he thought she was quite good and then predictably, everyone else decided to feel the same way about her.
