- Paul Heyman has been in charge of the recent Smackdown vignettes for John Heidenreich. Heyman has attempted to convince the creative team to hold off on booking John Heidenreich in a match until after SummerSlam. Heyman is concerned that his new "protege" will not get over well due to his poor in-ring skills. Heidenreich is scheduled to feud with the Undertaker following SummerSlam.
- Nova's new fitness-instructor gimmick is not confirmed for an on-air debut. However, management has been impressed with Nova's in-ring work, so expect him to appear on WWE TV soon.
