Here is a brief Heat recap:

- Ivory and Todd "I am the only bad thing on the Chris Benoit DVD" Grisham hosted from outside the Air Canada Center in Toronto. Al Snow and Jonathan Coachman hosted from inside the building.

- The history behind the Eddie Guerrero vs. Kurt Angle match was shown. Angle and Luther Reigns were shown arriving at the building. Tazz pointed out that this was Angle's "time of year" referring to the Summer Olympics, where Angle once won a gold medal.

- Lilian Garcia interviewed Chris Jericho, asking why he walked away on Raw last week while Batista beat up Edge. Jericho said that Edge would have done the same thing if the roles were reversed, and this was all about the Intercontinental Title, and it was every man for himself.

- Chris Benoit was shown arriving. The events leading to Benoit vs. Randy Orton were shown.

- Spike Dudley's recent heel turn was recapped. Backstage, Bubba Ray Dudley was ticked off about London & Kidman still being the tag team champions. Spike Dudley entered, and arrogantly stated that since he was the only Dudley with a title, his half-brothers should follow his lead. Bubba Ray & D-Von agreed, but said Spike's plan for tonight better work. They started to discuss strategy as the show went to commercial.
