- Carmella DeCesare turned herself in at Cleveland Police Headquarters last night at around 7:45. She posted bond last night and made a appearance at a Quaker Steak and Lube in suburban Cleveland
Her attorney, Pat D'Angelo, told WOIO-TV "If she wants me to represent her - she's gonna follow my advice, and my advice right now is for me to do the talking. That's what I'm getting paid for. She's innocent. We're gonna take this case before a judge and jury and prevail that way."
WOIO-TV reporter Sharon Reed spoke with DeCesare over the phone and quoted her saying ""I don't know her. I don't know why she's doing this."
As for a possible motive, "No one is going to get between Jeff Garcia and I. We're solid. If it's him she wants, forget it. If it's money, forget it. If it's fame, good luck."
DeCesare told WOIO on camera at the Quaker Steak and Lube, "I'm not guilty and when I'm found not guilty I will be happy to answer any questions, and then everyone can hear the second side of the story."
DeCesare will make her court appearance Friday morning.
